Hey guys, I use a CM13 based Rom because the CM Camera app, in my vision its a very good app. Mutch better than the Stock App or Others Camera Apps. But the Custom Roms do not possess the excellent battery life that has STOCK ROM. Is there any way to make the APP CM13 Camera work in Rom Stock? Thanks!
Just grab the APK from cm13 and install it on stock

I found this thread... assuming you are talking about "Snap", the new CM default camera. Anyway, looks like it needs it's own libraries, which is probably why it's crashing installing the APK alone.

Hey all,
So I currently found a new version of the MIUI camera that will work on a CM7 tbolt, however there is no front facing camera support.
Does anyone have a MIUI camera apk that has front support and works on CM7?
Updated OP with the camera I'm currently using. Also added a working MiuiMusic apk.
Directions for Camera:
Rename the file to Camera.apk and push it to system/app and set the permissions to rw r r. Reboot.
Directions for MiuiMusic:
Same as the camera, just rename to Music.apk
I take no credit for these, and don't blame me if it doesn't work.
My whole intention of this thread was to find a miui camera apk that has ffc support.
I would love to know this too!

well I downloaded MIUI for the Inc2 and tried installing the miuicamera, and gallery, neither seem to work
I did copy them to system/app, and changed permissions to rwrr.

No, the one that's posted is the one I'm currently using without ffc support. I'm wondering if anyone has a miui camera apk that has front camera working. I just attached the one I'm using because it was requested.

Hmm, mine works just fine.
I am not running CM7 now, but I would bet the new MIUI rom camera would work with CM7, and it has a working FFC

I figured it out. I guess you have to long press the capture button for the flash to work.

This is my first ever rom on XDA. I am not a dev, i just ported this GB base rom to nexus s. I already tested everything. It works fast with out any problem. Also I have to thanks Galaxyuser who helped me to fix googleplay fc. As you know He ported this rom already to nexus s. This is the latest version of mokeeOS.

Note2: If you have problem with su permission simply just flash this .zip file and youll e good. The problem is, mokee team has included the SuperUser into the rom, I tried to removed it but its related to framework stuff.
Installation:
If you are coming from ICS/JB roms you need to perform a fullwipe.
Issues:
- The only thing I have noticed so far , when you press About phone in setting you get FC, but other than that everything else works smooth.
P.S: This rom is meant to be for who want to experience a new GB rom with new UI, So please dont spam my thread. Also I am not responsible for whatever can happen to your phone. Flash it at your own risk.

Buddy, I did not ask you to flash this rom. if you dont want to flash please dont spam the thread and wait for JB rom to release.
What launcher are you using? I know galaxy user put go launcher but I didn't like it. I prefer gb over ics because it's a memory hogger!

I agree. You're going to have a difficult time finding people to run this on their phone. People don't want to downgrade.

Flash it and you'll find out. It is faster than cm7,also the ui is completely different.

budd, I presonaly, flash all roms on my phone with out asking the op. If i find any bug i uninstall it,and i flash something else. i told you this is just like cm7 rom with a bit changes in ui and speed. thats all i can tell you.

While you may use it, I think you might be flogging a dead horse here seeing as nearly everyone is waiting for JB proper. I am sure its a good ROM but its a bit like trying to sell a VCR player when Blu Ray is out.

No that is not possible ics camera app is different frm jb camera app. I was talking abt using a camera app frm the google play store.

Now working Ok. Actually I installed the normal apk and it worked fine too, except the scenes. It's strange we can only choose 2 scene modes (night and action I think) and the icons and names doesn't fit. So I decided to install this one to check if the issue was solved here, but it doesn't. I'll continue with stock app since actually I don't need photosphere.

Just flash that mod on my XZ. that working but some message is appear, like Google play service stopping, geotaging stopping and some other else. Idk how to fix that (noob here) so i choose restore all my system use twrp.
btw my device run FW 423 TW.
and should i clear dalvi/canche after flash this mod.

It worked on my Z, photosphere used to force close, now its perfect. Thanks a lot mate...BTW it merges on my old camera app, no other camera is present. I'm on a PA 3.6 ROM

I flashed the zip in recovery and it did replace my CM10.1 camera. Haven't tried manually dragging files files over to see if it would make a difference. I currently have the older Photosphere running side by side with the CM10.1 camera. I installed this version by manually dragging files and setting read write permissions.

Same as you, now installed GAPPS from recovery could fix this...
but each time now reboot got a message "Android is upgrading" and now I am going to reflash the ROM....

The libs already exist and work fine as does gmscore
There's been several releases of this already. I don't really think you can claim this to be your own work...
