Unread SMS after updating to MM - Sprint HTC One (M8)

hi guys,
has anyone experienced this? this only happened on MM, be it stock or stock rooted, i noticed that even if i already open a message, it would return to being unread (in bold), but notall messages, just some.

Download unsuccessful with multiple notifications

Hey everyone, I've just started to get this problem where I've tried to download an application...a lot...and eventually the notifications have built up to where I'm getting up to 11 notifications (I know...I was desperate for the app...AP Physics test....) anyways I can download other apps and this one seems to be special but the notifications are persistent and pop up whenever my phone syncs or whenever I download another application...is there a solution to this apart from the possible fix of wiping?

Nandroid and then wipe. If it doesn't work, restore your nandroid. If it does, get the app, finish what you need to do, then take time to restore all your settings.
Yeah it was fixed with a full wipe and reflash thanks

[Q] Enomther's receiving OTA update notification

Hello everyone,
Since Enomther's ROM thread is closed I would like to ask you a question about this beautiful ROM.
Since yesterday I'm receiving update system notification ( I own a Nexus One, so I suppose is Gingerbread update via OTA )
Well, this shouldn't happen, isn't it? I noticed that I have FOTA killer, so that should do the job, but still I'm receiving update system notifications...
Has anyone the same problem? Is there a way to disable the system update notifications?
I just flashed again the FOTAKiller-signed.zip in order to disable them, but I'm still receiving notifications...
Help please
You can disable it by updating your build.prop
Hi,
Also getting the OTA 2.3.4 update notification.
I am running Enomther 2.14.4 and have applied a patch to remove the OTA notification of the previous 2.3.3 update.
How to remove the 2.3.4 OTA notification?
please could you download it while running logcat and let the installation fail in recovery before disabling it? people are looking for the link to the OTA
FOTAKill.zip and then attempt to install the update. It'll reboot to custom recovery and stay there. Just don't do anything with it, reboot back, and the update notification should be gone.
Not to hijack. I am running cm6 and upgrade my h-boot. When I restarted the phone it ask me to update to gingerbread 2.3.3. However u still like running cm6. But it keeps asking me to update. I still not clear how to get rid of this message. Any suggeston?

I am having the same issue and have tried the above solution. I have also allowed the installation to fail and restart. The OTA update notification still comes back. Any solutions?
Thanks!
Make sure that fotakill is installed to internal memory. If it is installed on the sdcard, it probably won't work.

Odd, I installed it, removed the update in /cache, rebooted, haven't seen the notification since.

[Q] Whatsapp is not working on Lollipop Custom ROMs

Hey,
I was using Cyanogenmod 12.1 (5.1.1 Lollipop) but from last 3 days the whatsapp was not working on that ROM. i thought maybe it would be the bug in the new update, So i planned to flash Resurrection Remix ROM, All things are working successfully except Whatsapp. i did clean flashing twice. When ever i tried to login to my Whatsapp after typing number and when i press Ok the phone Automatically reboots.
I'm posting the screenshots if anyone can help me with it ? I'm kinda Beginner Developer, I've already checked the Build.prop, everything is fine and perfect in this ROM as it was fine in CyanogenMod. But whatsapp is causing issues , and i think a Smartphone without whatsapp could not be a Smartphone xD
Kindly if anyone can help me with it WILL APPRECIABLE :")
Thanks.
Screenshots are ATTACHED.

Completely Wipe your phone.... wipe everything System, data, cache, Dalvik. And then flash the AICP rom and gapps of 5.1 its less buggy! Smooth and amazing... Didn't had any problem logging in to whatsapp.. I think you've flahshed something improper and the drivers or something else could've got messed up...

This happened with me a few times. Backup only the media files and Delete the WhatsApp folder in the internal storage and reinstall WhatsApp from playstore. For some reason when you restore the app and leave the WhatsApp folder it reboots the phone upon registration.

Can't send/receive SMS from stock conversations app after root

Hi,
I have rooted my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact yesterday. I have also installed Xposed framework and GravityBox. I'm using pre-rooted D5803_23.4.A.1.232_R5C_Central Europe 1 Generic_1288-7915 FTF.
My problem is that I can't send and receive SMS message on stock Conversations app. When I send message, I get floating popup 'Can't send message'. In another apps like Hangouts etc, everything works fine.
Does anyone know what can I do, beside changing sms app to another?
UPDATE:
Only Hangouts allows me to send and receive sms
I have the same issue, only Hangouts works as an SMS app, nothing else... any solutions?

I almost always have this problem when I flash clean pre-rooted FW and start using the phone for the first time.
Simple solution - hard reset using settings. The problem immediately disappears

Where is that option? Are you talking about factory resetting the phone?
I can't find a hard reset option in any settings, you have to be more specific please :crying:

Yes, writing hard reset I meant factory resetting the phone, I just couldn't find a proper words
Oh boy this is messed up.
Will I loose root after that?
And will I have to do it every time I update my phone with a pre-rooted FW?
Did you managed to fix this issue with factory reset? Did you lost root access?

It was an issue on the very first version of MM that the phone (APN) settings weren't updating, but it's been fixed long ago.
The latest version is now 23.5.A.1.238
