Did you re-enter your wifi settings?

Yes

Do you mean in setting it self or through some file that may be missing. I dont know the file or where to put it. Thanks for responding.

Sprint said that the wifi must have moved. dont think thats correct. and that they dont have any idea where it moved to.

Yes i reentered the wifi setting .it says unable to find ip address. even when i put it in. just acts like nothing has been put in.

Is wifi actually turning on and detecting your network?
It seems like somehow you have wiped or corrupted the radio partition.
Easy fix is to simply flash stock firmware.

Thank you so much for all your help. Im unable to flash stock .iv done all the updates and then rooted. On AOL1 rom. Cannot find the file for that rom. Do you know of a way to find it? Again thank you.

I know your very busy and i really do appreciate any response youve given me.

Doesn't matter what you are on now. Stock firmware will replace it.

unplug the usb cable, reboot the phone.
(fyi, 3gs is an iphone, you mean 3g)
Thanks for the quock reply. I tried restarting the phone but it still not working..
What can be done to get 3g working?
Hmmm... I'd recommend loading a different modem or a different ROM. However, I'm not sure if I understood you correctly... can you make calls while on the stock ROM? If not, I'd return it to AT&T for an exchange.
Not working in stock too.. Will go to att store. Not sure they exchange the phone, but lets try with sim.

So you didn't have you sim card in did I read that correctly. If that is the case then yes you won't be able to do anything with the phone on the ATT network.
If that is not the case then yes I would look into returning it
I followed these steps and it worked fine now..

Luckily I remembered taking backup of files, even though i was not sure the use of them till I see above post ;-), I know am still learning..
Installed now Assonance, awesome ROM..
Thanks for helping me out..Appreciate..

Try unrooting? Maybe flash a new rom/modem/kernel. Use your resources
Take a look at your modem, i'm guess when you flashed in Odin you applied a kernel with a different modem. Happened to me when I rooted the wife's cappy after the AT&T 2.3.5 upgrade. Checked the modem and sure enough it was changed so i just flashed back the stock KK4 kernel and all was good. There's a thread in this section that covers it.
ok is there anyway i could get all the right stuff together that way this will be fixed?...or could someone give me like links to the stuff i need and help me?

You can find a list of i897 modems here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1300843 (second post).
Download the zip, put it on your SD card, and flash it in CWM. You can also push them with Odin, just extract the modem.bin from the zip, put it in the phone slot in Odin, uncheck everything but autoreboot, and flash.
The list is oldish and doesn't have anything newer than KK1, but any of them should work. A quick search should turn up a KK4 flasher as well.

Your next bet would be to flash back to stock and start over. Something obviously went wrong along the way.

Xperia T - Not possible to turn on Wifi after Updating to Android 4.3

Yesterday I updated my Xperia T to Android 4.3 via Sony Companion Software. My phone is not rooted. Everything apperently went fine, but after the Update process I wanted to turn on my Wifi, but it did not work. I tried that from the quicksettings and form the settings directly. The button remain grey for a certain time and the turns back to off.
I turned off my phnone and on again, but a white triangle with a screw came and the phone remained in that status for more than 6 hours. After that it turned on, but the Wifi problem remains. Regarding Bluetooth, that works fine.
What I noticed is that when I check the phone info and the Wifii settings, no MAC Adress is listed there for Wifi. I don't think its a hardware problem, because everything was fine before updating.
What should I do? I am afraid to turn my phone off bcause it could go back to the white triangle remaining for several hours in that state. I dont think a factory reset would help, because there seems to be an update problem and I would like to rather not loose all my settings.
Any help would be very appreciated, because I urgently need wifi in my university.......

The ftf file is the stock Rom, you can find it here on xda. Flashtool also. Flashtool only works if you have windows xp, vista 7 or 8. Not on 8.1. Repairing it using pcc should be easier though

Tnx again. Regarding stoch Rom, I think I am a newbie in that field. I will try to repair via PCC. I have sony bridge for Mac or a Windows PC with Windows 8.1. Which one would you prefer? I updated to Android 4.3 on a Windows 8.1 PC. Do you think that might be a reason, why there is an issue with the update process or something went wrong?
Windows 8.1 works with one of the updates the launched not so long ago

Unfortunately, reparing it with PCC did not help and I am quite desperate. I bought the phone last year as a used one. I am quite a newbie in this field, but could it be, that the rom installed is an altered one and a normal update via PPC leads to this Wifi problem? Normally that should not be the case, but how can I find that out what is causing the problem and what must I do to overcome this drama of mine. I whish I didn't perform that update, because everything wAs working fine before.....

ok what u need to do is root your phone first . they are some threads that show u how to do it i recommed after rooting jus use this rom
httphttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2647459
to root unable debug mode in settings/developer
and unknown sources in settings/security .. first u will have to go back to 4.1.2 to root ur phone and then follow the above instructions
Look at these threads, it can help a lot:

A factory reset would definitely work. You don't know how many times I've seen people (even with different phones) have problems like these because they change their Android version and/or flash different ROMs without wiping their partitions, i.e., doing at least a Factory Reset. If you were rooted you could try deleting the "wpa_supplicant.conf" file in /data/misc/wifi. The problem is, since you're already on 4.3, there is no sure way to root 4.3 unless your bootloader is unlocked. So unless you find out a way to backup your data/settings, you're either going to lose it all when doing a Factory Reset, or downgrading to 4.1.2 (to root), or even flashing a stock 4.3 FTF, because I'm sure your problem is that you haven't wiped.

Well on some previous versions of CM based ROMs we had WIFI toggle problem. It was not turning on, solution was to reboot phone. Try with it.
And you need to do factory reset and wipe cache and dalvik cache after installation. You can do it now if you was not before.

Yesterday i did clean instalation... First i instaled Rom, than i instaled some update for rom(from I9070P to I9070), then i wipe cache, dalvic cache and did factory reset... And everything worked awesome!!! Even wifi... But when i changed wifi (I moved from home to school wifi), i stoped to work... And everytime i tried to connect to some wifi... i get only " WPS server stop working" or "Failed connect to network.".
And i also tried some instructions for wifi.. like... Turn on bluetooth, turn on wifi, turn off bluetooth
or changing name in wifi direct(a wasnt able to, a get message" failed to change name".)
Thanks

You will have to see with that ROM developer, I did not use it so I can't tell you 100% sure if it works or not for I9070 too.

[Q] Wifi can't connect automatic on Note 3 stock!

Hi all,
Lately, I ran into a problem with the stock Note 3. It can't automatic connect to wifi. I have to enter the the wifi password manually to connect. My phone is stock with 4.4,2. I have "Keep wifi on during sleep" set to always. I can't seem to figure out what's wrong with this phone. My other phone (S3) works fine when I switch to different wifi network.

There is a fix for it. You have to edit something on build.prop but I forgot edit what.
Just install a custom rom, they should already fixed the problem.
Thanks, found it right after posting.
