Hi guys. It's me, the stupid guy who formated his SD on Marshmallow with the "Internal Storage option" and then changed the rom . I didn't know all the encrypted stuff!... Well, the problem now is that i have a SD card formated with internal sotage option but i haven't the exactly rom with i did the formatting, only an old backup (before SD formatting). When i put on the SD card in my Moto g with the old backup, it says that cant use it, must format all the stuff. So...
Is there any way to access all my SD data? i tried with the old backup, doing a wipe data... nothing works.
PD: Sorry for my ****ty english
@ch4mi

You can format de external sd using an usb micro sd adapter on your pc using a partition program, I used gparted and formated with ext4 filesystem. After that you can restore your backup, and should work ok.

Hi,
I accidentally formated the internal storage of my brother´s diamond while hard-reseting it (I help him flashing ROMs and didn´t know the option to format the internal as well..)
Is there a way to restore the lost data on the memory ? Does PC Inspector reconize the Diamond´s internal storage ?
thx in advance for a reply
Martin
Try these http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk and http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec.
The reason I recommend this, is because I have successfully recovered images from a formatted camera SD Card, and the Diamond 4GB Storage acts like a USB Flashdrive.
thanks, but it didn´t work. Though I acted as described in the Wiki I got nothing...
I lost my sd card data flashing a rom. Could not mount it even thru recovery. Got a card reader, but it won't format it.
Using Mini Partition Tool to troubleshoot. I am not at a point where it shows three partitions. The main 16gb unallocated, logical. The ext3 unformatted 500mb, primary (think I did that by mistake when trying to recover partition). And a 32mb unallocated, logical. All zero used memory.
I need to get back to one partition allocated, primary. Then I can get sd data back on it and reformat thru recovery.
Again using Mini Partition Wizard
Any help please!
OK,
I got it repartitioned as primary and formatted, bu sd card from pc now.
Hope phone recognizes it.
Will update, if I need further help.
Ken
If you want a good program to format your sd card, try SD Formatter.
Download and install that, plug in your sdcard into your sd card reader and format it.
Choose Full Erase On (if possible) and Resize On. It will format your sdcard to factory default and that means even the ext partition will be gone too.
Well, all transferred. Still won't mount. Says can't mount either of the dev/blocks mmcb1k0p1 and mmcb1k0.
Staus bar says sd card damaged.
?????
musashiken,
Thanks, typing while you posted. Based on my last post should I still do that?
Ken
Yeah I think you should try to reformat again with the program I suggested, as that will full format your sd card.
Once done, put your sd card back to the phone and create ext partition in recovery.
At work now but will be working on it.
Thanks
Ken
musashiken,
Thanks, appreciate all your help
That program worked, and I am back up and running
Ken
Glad it worked for you. My sd card kept giving me problems and I have to use this every few rom flashes.
I have a similar problem. I installed a new 32 gb SDHC card in a CDMA Hero running Cryogenmod. All was working well for about 10 days, then I got an error that no SD card was found. I had the original card and tried to get to the Clockwork recovery, no luck. Finally, through Rom manager, (flash alternate recovery to Ramon, then back to Clockwork, I was able to boot into recovery.
I still cannot format the new SDHC card, through Recovery, Windows 7, or the Panasonic program listed above. The Windows format option sees the card as a FAT 121mb card, so does the above program. Is this new card toast? It came with a lifetime warranty from Kingston, but I am mad that it did not make 2 weeks.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Craig
If sdformatter did not work it may be bad.
I always had good luck with it.
Did you have all options set per instructions?
I'm having this problem all of a sudden...
I don't know how to fix this..
I try to change on other ROM but same result.
Please help me guys...
If I download something from xplorer it will display SD card unavailable.
If I open play store it will suddenly close...
Unfortunately Google play store stopped........
Also I can't access my internal storage.....
I use twrp

Wipe data, system, cache and data/media (internal sd card).
Format your external sd card via recovery or PC. (optional)
I think it's happening due to corrupt file system.Though if the problem is within your internal SD card instead of external one, there is no need to format external sd card.

You might still want to wipe data/media after sw update. It only wipes data, system and cache and not data/media.
I know this because I've had my internal sd card (data/media) corrupted before, preventing my phone from booting. Was only able to fix it via recovery, by wiping internal sd card.Stock, CWM or TWRP a wipe should do it.But SW update doesn't format internal sd card.

-SOLVED BY USING ODIN, AND FLASHING A STOCK ROM-
Samsung GT-S5830
So i installed some custom GB rom a long time ago on my friends phone.
Now he gave it back to me because nothing was working anymore.
The problem is when i try to open the file manager in the phone it says there is no internal sdcard, furthermore in the settings at partition settings it shows me:
/system 183mb/ 206mb
/data 65mb/178 mb
/cache 4mb/ 25mb
/sdcard (FAT) 0.00B / 0.00B
/ext-sdcard (EXT) unavailable (not 1 in the phone)
As you can see, the phone acts like it has no internal storage at all wich make it impossible to put anything on the phone.
I have tried using ODIN to flash a factory default rom, but my computer does not recoqnize the device when i put it in download mode. so that does not work.
I however installed the lastest TWRP, to try making my own partitions in there but that also did not work.
after that i downloaded cm11, put it on a external sd card and flashed the rom.
this all worked fine, but still NO INTERNAL SDCARD.
I am guessing that my friend has been screwing with some files or whatever.
Anyone got any tips?

Why your sdcard have FAT format instead of FAT32?
Try to backup it using a PC and then format it in FAT32, but forget ext partitions for the moment

Sir, it is impossible to format an INTERNAL sd card just simply by connecting it to a pc. You are talking about external sd cards here. (that's just part of the memory the phone internal has, there is no physical sd card here).
Anyway, i fixed the problem by flashing stock rom in odin wich has reformarted, and partitioned, it correctly.

Mmm... ok, well I'm glad you've solved your problem
I'm using lenovo A7000 and recently updated marshmallow and chosen 32GB SD card as internal memory. It was worked as internal memory perfectly quite some time, all of sudden I got message that SD corrupted and doesn't show data stored in the card, it shows zero files, I lost all media files!! However USB storage option in settings SD card shows 6.5GB used out of 28GB. Since it's treated as internal memory I'm not able to read the card as drive in other devices/computer. I have important media files and documents in SD card and I didn't backup them. I'm bit worried!!! How to recover the data from SD card. I assume if SD card changed back to portable, it will format and lose data!!! Please support
Hey , are you using stock original rom of lenovo a7000?

Phone is not recognizing SD card, shows it's corrupted. Phone doesn't have enough space!! Btw, how to migrate data from encrypted SD card to internal memory?
Follow your way through this article: https://nelenkov.blogspot.ro/2015/06/decrypting-android-m-adopted-storage.html
You should be able to read the SD card on a Linux PC.
