Hi,
as already said p.a.n's CyanogenMod 13 is very stable and he is fixing bugs very fast. But if you want some more features, you can try Bliss, Resurrection Remix or VR-Toxin. VR-Toxin is based on AOSP and it's very stable too.
Because I want to have some more features, I would install Resurrection Remix. I am not a fan of AOSP. ????
Kind regards
Trafalgar Square

I tested many ROM's but P.A.N's CM 13 works like a charm for me. I used it for some time and then downgraded to stock because I don't like 5.1 nor 6.0 versions.

does GPS work on P.A.N.'s CM 13?

Well installed CyanogenMod 13.0-20160225-UNOFFICIAL-i9305 yesterday and it seems to be working a treat.

official CM13 is working fine from nightly 11-03-2016 if you want a MM rom.
Or unofficial CM12.1 build 31 is the most stabe rom if you want a LL based rom

[Q] Could you recoment me most suitable ROM

Hi guys,
I have read a lot about different ROM that are avalible for Galaxy S Advance, but I am not sure, which one is the best for me. Could someone more experienced recomend me a ROM on the basis of my priorites?
- Stability
- Speed
- Working wi-fi, GPS, camera and other basic functions
And that is basicly it. I don't need to tune my system and be able to change everything and honestly I don't really want to. I just want to install new ROM and few applications and than use it more or less for office work (calling, texting, email, callendar, google keep, facebook, viber, skype,...).
Thanks a lot!
HarshJelly is the most stable i think.

That exacly what I was looking for. Thanks mate!
I’m using and recommend the latest stock rom for Italy (ITV, I9070XXLQL)—it’s much better than older roms like LQG or LQE. It' doesn't need any tuning nor custom kernels, it's just working OK
Sami-os
Sami-os is really stable and working perfectly with all functions
I've more or less you same priorities, and I'm using slimrom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2584559
I'm very happy with it so far...

i think you should try harsh jelly, sami OS, slim bean or carbonrom build 7..all of this rom perform very well and quite stable..
For stock 4.1.2 you can try Harshjelly which is nice and is being updated with latest stuff fixed by Samsung...
For 4.3 (in case you want to try a lighter ROM...) You can try OMNI 4.3...
Or latest CM10.2 build....
For AOSP Touchwiz Sense, use Sami Os with JB 4.2.2.
It's Stable, fast, and great Rom.
For CM you can use Carbon Rom JB 4.4.2, the stable version.

I've try that Rom, so smooth and faster.
Give a credit for his great work, guys.

Presently what is the best stable Rom ( Cm 11/12.1/13) for Galaxy S Advance ?

Presently what is the best stable Rom ( Cm 11/12.1/13) for Galaxy S Advance ?
I have tried almost all the Roms. Presently I am on Cm 13 by Epirex. I am on the first build. Tried the second build, but changed it due to freezing of screen.
Please suggest so that I do not have to change Roms very often.
I'm currently using Modded CyanogenMod 11 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s-advance/general/rom-modded-cyanogenmod-11-t3387424) and it's very stable, give it a try.
I'm currently using Revolution ROM UX..based on stock jellybean..it fast LOL
I've tried almost every rom for S Advance.
If we are talking about cyanogenmod only, then "Modded CyanogenMod 11" is the most stable.
But the best rom I've tried is a stock based one, named "Leggera", nothing is more stable. You can find it here: http://www.androidiani.com/forum/mo...9070-jb-4-1-2-leggera-gargaros-s-advance.html (if you want I can help with translating the page)
This is my opinion.
As a previously user of S Advance aka janice, for me SamiOS + cocore kernel 8.2 was best (you can try mkaluza kernel too).
There are some other good roms too:
1) AOSP by JTeam
2) VanirAOSP by mkaluza
3) CM 10.2 . There's a build which some people claimed to be the most stable cm.
NOTE: I haven't tried any new rom since that time, because I didn't had to

completely agree with you :good:

The least-bugs-existing Marshmallow Rom.

Can anyone suggest me a good, reliable marshmallow ROM? I'm currently using OCT OS 6.0 but it has lots of annoying minor bugs. Suggestions will be appreciated.
I'm using Resurrection Remix v5.7.3 (Android version 6.0.1) and it is very stable, fast, and awesome. I'm not sure what isn't working because it does everything I want it to do and I haven't noticed any minor bugs (I'm sure there are a few, but nothing comes to mind). I highly recommend this ROM for anyone who has been having sluggish performance.
Why not the official nightlies? Been running them for a while now and haven't had any glaring issues on my xt1060
remix rom has browser video playback broken, if octos is working in that, then oct os
crCM14.1 + PIE 3.0 + OmniRecents

Stable ROM for everyday use

Hello.I have an Samsung Galaxy S4 Active and I'm using the optimized lineage os from 19 jan. Could anyone recommend me a good and stable ROM for everyday use but in the same time to have performance ?
CM11 is what you need. Here you go: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58442741&postcount=1112
Make sure you install the latest build(20150126).

But it's not a little outdated ?
If security is what you want, then you should install the latest LineageOS build. There is a i9505 up-to-date kitkat build, only if I knew how to port it,or if someone could port it.
If xposed is important to you go with CM13 (MM). That is my choice now, 28/dez + my mic fix works very well.
If you like Samsung style go with WizCyan (LP)
Otherwise go with RR or LOS (N)
Miui 8 is another alternative (MM)
For performance don't move apps to storage, uninstall all apps that you don't use (included system ones), install Kernel Adiutor and do tunning like this:

Our RR is stable. At least the newest version... I'm using it as daily for more than a week now, no problems whatsoever.

As soon as xposed is available to N, that will be my daily choice. Thanks for the builds!
I don't know which modules you need but most things that required xposed on LP are now integrated into N.
Especially in RR version which is highly customizable.

I am crazy or something but stock rom moves smoother than any custom rom or I am doing something wrong when I m installing custom rom.
I had stock LP ROM with only deodex and xposed running and it was never as smooth as Nougat...

hmmm..I will try the rr 22 feb version and send you a feedback
There will soon be today's RR build too.

RR vs Cm which is better ?

Can anyone please explain what is the real difference between Ressurection Remix & CM ?
right now I'm using RR latest (official) & except some bugs it's working like a charm.

Rr has more customisations than cm, bt anyways cm is the father of all roms, most of roms out there use cm as base rom.
If you knw how to edit/modify stuff or play with the rom, then there is nothing better than cm.
Both roms are equally stable, bt i prefer cm and i personally think that cm offers better performance and battery life than rr. With some tweaks I am getting around 9 hours of SoT
