Camera problem. - Moto X Q&A

After I rooted and flashed a Stock 5.1.1 Rom, the camera seems to be having some colour correction, focusing and flash problems. The front camera gets over saturated. And rear camera gets greeny at low light and with flashes. Everything was fine when it was running on 4.4.2 Kitkat. Please Help.

[Q] upgraded to Froyo.JHJP4 - camera quality got worse - plz hlp!

I'm using SGS, and runing the Froyo.JHJP4 (Israeli Orange ROM),
One of the problems was with the camera that didn't work at first, so I installed a fix for that (GT-I9000PTRJP4_KERNEL.zip).
after that I tested the camera and discovered something very annoying:
The quality of the camera got much worse compared to the 2.1 version,
and it looks as if it's in constant "Night mode"... so the image moves slowly while moving the camera, and the images are very grained and quality is down.
I checked the settings, and everything look normal:
The night mode is OFF
and the Quality is at BEST.
Anyone familiar with this problem??
I really like this ROM and don't want to change it again, but the camera is important to me...
THANX!

[Q] Main Xperia Z1 camera is blurry

Hi everyone, today I noticed that my rear camera is blurry. Its incredibly frustrating that I am unable to take any pictures with the rear camera in this condition.
I used the camera to take a few pictures this morning,(which came out perfectly) and I have updated a few applications to the latest versions about a few hours back. An hour back I tried to take a picture using the primary camera, however everything is blurry.
I removed my rear glass cover and cleaned out any dust from the camera area, however the results were the same.
My camera App is at Version 1.0.0
Is anyone else facing the same problems?
Can you show a picture demonstrating this?

Lollipop Camera Bug

Hello all,
Today, like most on here, i awoke to find that Android Lollipop was being rolled-out and as such decided to download the ftf and flash it onto my device.
Everything seemed to work pretty well until i decided to take a photograph. It seems that the entire top/right-hand side of my images are over-exposed/super bright.
Is anyone else seeing issues like this?
P.s. i have tested using both the SE and HK firmwares and both are showing this issue, I have since reverted back to Kitkat and all is well camera-wise.
I am currently at work so will post images later.

Same. I think this is their "Improvement" to low light pictures.

If so, should it not encompass the entire image?
The affected 'area' is the same regardless of lighting conditions.
I originally thought there could be moisture in my camera, so I reverted to Kitkat to check.
I have also noticed some over-exposure, but related to light sources, as well camera losing its fluidness when in low light situations, just like it was on sports mode or something. When you move around it seems to be 20 fps or so. Absolutely fine in video mode, though. When there is more light I can confirm everything is normal. Moreover, when in low-light conditions, color reproduction is a little bit not accurate, it tends to shift towards yellow.
As promised, attached is a photograph taken of the ground in balanced lighting conditions i.e. no bright light sources or reflective surfaces nearby.
The side way 'L' shape of the disturbance seems to be continuous throughout images, which would usually suggest an issue with the actual camera, however the camera is fine on Kitkat.
**Edit**
I have also attached an image taken of a dark surface to highlight the issue.
i have shots with 4.4.4 and 5.0.2,

At lease you don't have 'ghosting' in your images
You issues seems to be with the actual camera issues (noise etc) sony left us with, as opposed to an actual bug.

How to fix that??
Hello. I have the same issue with you as well after updated the software to Lollipop. Are you still on Kit Kat or Lollipop has solved the issue?

Blurry Camera issue

I recently bought a a fairly used Z1 from a local dealer.
After a few days of use, I started noticing that the rear camera randomly gets blurry for distant shorts. Nevertheless, if you take close up shots i'ts fine. The front Camera is also fine.
At first I wondered if the issue was with the Background defocus app, I installed. I have removed it cleared the device and camera cache but the camera is still as it is.
Also some days the camera is fine with no issues as I've taken great photos with it.
I need help to sort out the issue if it's a hardware or software issue and if I can fix it or I should return it since I have a 3 months of guarantee.
See photos:
it appears I can't post an image link to dropbox.
Thank you for your help in advance.
Check if my tutorial helps you
did you try to clean install latest stock rom?
clean install means to wipe everything and flash the stock rom
Try Google Camera. If it keeps getting blurry, it can be a physical problem.
