"com.bocharov.xposed.fsbi in the repository" Xposed error - Xposed General

Xposed stopped working for me for some reason. I can't download any modules from the "Download", nothing shows up. When ever I click an xposed repo link for a module, an error message is displayed saying "There is no name with package name com.bocharov.xposed.fsbi in the repository"
My phone is rooted, and Xposed does have superuser permission if any of that information matters. This is the first time this has ever happened to me since I flashed Xposed.

So does anybody know the issue?

Try to clear the cache of Xposed Installer app and reboot your device. If this doesn't work, download the module from the Xposed repo and install it manually.

Problem installing Xposed since 2.6.1

Hey
I tried to update Xposed FW from 2.60 to 2.61 and when I tried to install the app_process and XposedBridge.jar files via the Framework menu it takes forever and then a notifiation pops up saying I should make sure my phone is rooted and shell commands aren't blocked.
I did nothing to the phone since the last update to 2.60 and every other Xposed update before worked.
I have a rooted Nexus 5 and SUper SU 1.97
Super SU doesn't show a request to approve Xposed rights.
I tried to install an older version of Xposed but that doesnt work.
I cleared the cache of xposed fw and uninstalled, then reinstalled it with several reboots in between. Nothing works.
It keeps saysing xposed is not activated, I should root my phone and that's it.
How can I force SuperSU to ask for root rights for xposed?
Thanks
EDIT: Just saw in the SuperSU log file that it says I need Super SU Pro for Xposed Framework???

Open SuperSU, find "Xposed Installer" and make sure it's set to grant root access. You can also try tapping on "Forget" and you should get asked next time you try to install the framework.

The Problem was SuperSU 1.97.
It seems as the phone will lose root with this version (what would make sense then). In the 1.97 announcement post of Chainfire on Google+ was another comment to version 1.98 which fixes the root loss issue (meanwhile SuperSU is already version 1.99).
Xposed is working again after updating SuperSU.

xposed Installation failed

I just installed Alliance rom on my att gs5. For some reason it won't let me install xposed framework. Help?
I have the same problem with gt-n8013 cyanogenmod rom
"It won't let me install Xposed framework" – how so? Any errors?
I can't submit a screenshot of the error because I don't have many posts. But it says "Failed to create a backup of /system/bin/app_process
There should be an error above/below that line as well? Have you tried installing Xposed via the recovery?
It's a big error. Its a lot to type but tldr it says permission denied. No, how do I do that?

Permission denied? Are you sure you're rooted (if you are, double check that the Xposed Installer is granted root permissions)?
You can install it via the recovery by changing the installation method (press the button).
I have no idea what I did but I tried to install it again and it worked so. Thanks for trying to help but its fixed now haha.
Help
Having trouble with loading Netflix so discovered about the xposed fix for this problem. I tried to install xposed but got the "signature" error message which I believe tells me xposed is already installed. In my "apps", I do not have xposed listed as an installed app. Doing a file search, there are no hits on "xposed". I recently upgraded to latest Beanstalk 4.4.4. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

[Q] Apps not installing after installing xposed framework

So yesterday I installed xposed framework on my Moto G XT1033 5.0.2, after the process i tried installing some modules with no success, "App not Installed". I rebooted my phone and tried installing again, this time it got stuck on " installing...". I have tried to install using lucky patcher and it gave an error saying that some directory didn't exist.
Please help
Similar problem on my LG L90. I installed version 86 and it's active. I'm able to download modules, but unable to install them.
It says, "Application not installed." I've tried this for several modules and received the same results.
In the installer logs section I have an error:
"E/Xposed ( 298): Cannot load any modules because /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/modules.list was not found"
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, I also have the same problem with my Alcatel One Touch Fierce 2 running Android 4.4.2. I try to install the Xposed apk and its says "App not installed". Someone please help.

Hey there, did you find a solution for this problem since you posted this? I am experiencing this exact problem right now, it says that modules.list was not found in that directory. Framework is working, modules can be downloaded but not installed.
Thanks

For an unknown reason I had the same issue. I was able to download and install from Xposed, and than one day it wouldn't allow me to press the "install button". Long story made short I was able to get it working by installing this app:
[XPOSED] [KK] [FIX] KitKat BUGS fixer
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-service-bug-63793-fix-t2830732
Hope that helps someone and saves them time trying to figure out what happened.
I've had this problem and the way that I do it is by disabling the exposed framework then rebooting, then it will allow you to install apps. After, activate the module, that re eneble xposed, and reboot!
Hey
I was having the same issue but i fixed it.
This might be because google get to know that the phone is modified thats why no apps get installed so the fix it that download GMS PROTECTED app from xposed download and inatall it. Activate it and reboot. And if you're unable to install then simply turn the framework off and install the module that I've mentioned above.after installing the module activate it,turn on the framework and reboot the fone. Bang.... You're good to go

Android 6 - Xposed v87 - Gravity Box is not working

Hello everyone,
I have an issue with Gravity Box which is not launching, but I am not sure if the issue comes from Gravity Box or Xposed framework.
I have a Doogee X3 running the ROM stock with Android 6 available on the Doogee website, section suppoer\download. It was originally on Android 5.1 but I flashed the ROM stock with SP Flash Tools.
I rooted my phone via TWRP and SuperSU is correctly installed (root checked with Root checker app).
I then installed Xposed framework version 87 as indicated in the official thread and it seems to be OK. I say it seems, because I can open the app, and it is said so on the welcome screen and I can download modules from it.
I downloaded Gravity Box for Marshmallow from Xposed, installed it, activated it, rebooted the phone, and there is the issue : I can't launch the app. I tried several times to desactivate/reactivate while rebooting in between, install an older version of the app, nothing worked. The message I have is "the system branch of Gravity Box is not answering. end of task" (the message is in French, this is a basic translation, hope it will be similar in the original English version). I also tried to uninstall and reinstall Xposed framework, but it didn't work neither.
However, I don't know if the issue comes from GravityBox or Xposed, because other modules I downloaded and installed from Xposed are not working neither (for instance MinMinGuard, and the error message is "the module has to be activated", while it is activated on Xposed).
Thank you for your help and suggestions!

First of all you're in a wrong subforum.
I think you need to change xposed installer it seems.
Use the official version of xposed installer and DL and install > activate modules, reboot.
Or just install module manually by downloading em' on xposed repo.
Ref - use this xposed installer.
*first uninstall the current xposed installer. Then install the above one, reboot > DL mods, activate, reboot.
See that might works.
Thank you very much for your answer, but I didn't understand it, sorry

I used the official version as indicated in the official thread on xda ([OFFICIAL] Xposed for Lollipop/Marshmallow [Android 5.0/5.1/6.0, v87, 2016/11/24] by rovo89) therefore I used the Xposed installer 3.1.1. I also tried several times to unstall/reinstall using the uninstaller indicated in that thread. I don't know what DL means.
Thank you !
Edit : I tried to put some screenshots from my phone, but the links didn't work (I used google drive)

BTW, if you've 'disable resource hooks enabled' from xposed installer, just disable it. That's also one of the reason why gravity isn't working for you.

Hello Sachin,
"disable resource hooks" is not enabled (never has been neither).
I don't know why the link with google drive is not working for the screenshots, but it is written on the home screen of Xposed Installer: Xposed status ON (orange button on the right), Xposed Framework version 87 is active. Install/update: version 87. Uninstall: uninstaller 20160829. Your device: Android 6.0 (Marshmallow, API 23), Doogee X3, arm.
On the modules screen, everything is activated.
I installed/uninstalled/reinstalled through TRWP, wiped the cache each time, rebooted each time as well.
I have a question I just thought about it: I saved all the files (xposed-v87-sdk23-arm.zip, xposed-uninstaller-20160829-arm.zip and xposedinstaller_31.1.apk) in /storage/emulated/0 which is also written /sdcard/ (2 ways of access with ES explorer), is it the right place ? I mean, the last time I installed xposed framework, on my previous phone, it was there and it was working, but it was running Android 4.4, so maybe it is different now ?
thank you !
(I just found out that the e-mail notifications went into my spam box, I'll be more reactive now)

Oh mahn, deym.. You need to flash xposed framework zip via recovery first, then install xposed installer it'll works .
I mean,
*.DL xposed framework version87_arm_sdk23 zip and reboot recovery and flash the zip, wipe dalvik art, reboot.
*.Then, once the boot completes, install xposed installer apk, open it. You can see, it's activated bruhh!
*.3rd step, now, install whatever the modules you want and activate them, reboot! Boom! This will works. ;~;
Bruhh, you're on sdk23 aka MM, where in xposed installation is different than Android KK.
In Android LP +, you need to flash zip via recovery first, then install apk.
In the earlier versions of Android ie; Kk, just install apk, thatll works.
Got me? good luck.

Hello Sachin,
this is what I did : I copied all the files in the folder I mentioned, then used TRWP to flash the 1st zip (recovery boot), wiped the cache, rebooted, installed the apk, downloaded Gravity, installed Gravity, activated it in Xposed, rebooted again, but it does not work. I did it maybe 10 times (install everything, then uninstall, then install again, and so on). As said, when I open Xposed, it is written as active, but Gravity is not working. I have instead this error message "the system branch of Gravity Box is not answering. end of task" and Gravity closes itself.
I was just wondering if the folder in which I copied all the files was important or not.
thank you !

You've done correctly, but tell me one thing, what about other modules, they were also not working?
I just found how to upload the screenshots on the forum !
So, on the modules list, only MinMinLock and VolumeSteps+ are working. All the other ones say I have to activate Xposed, while it is already signed as activated in Xposed. I also tried as advised to uncheck, recheck, and reboot, but it didn't work neither.
Thank you !
Edit : it seems the pictures are still not visible I made a public album within my profile so I guess you can see them there ?
the modules are :
Gravity Box
Greenify
MinMinGuard
MinMinLock
VolumeSteps+
YouTube AdAway

Hey,
Try this - GB system error fix
^^Meaning, you need to put xposed modules and xposed installer in internal memory [internal storage] of your device. But you put em' inside user storage ie;/storage /O, so, just move em' all, give a try.
They shouldn't be installed in SD card,
They should be in /data/app. [internal storage]
Goodluck. :good:
Sorry I didn't see your answer. I 'll try and let you know.
Hi Sachin,
I've got an issue here : I copied the zip files and the apk file in "/" but when I reboot into recovery twrp doesn't find the files and indeed when I reboot into normal mode and look for them with ES Explorer, they just disappeared.
Thanks you ,
Hello to all
I have a similar issue: I had installed xposed 3.1.1 and framework 87 by twrp. all other modules are working, but GB not!
when I download it the dl is stopped by an error " il file scaricato non è un APK valido ( o incompatibile ) " I try the traduction " the downloaded file is not an valid APK ( or it is incompatible ).
In a few words I can't download the Gravity box module, there is a solution?

XPOSED framework not working.

Recently I flashed xposed and installed the Xposed installer app on my Zenfone 2. But everytime I select a module and perform a reboot/soft reboot, it shows the error message: "Xposed Framework installed but not active". Also on the modules screen, it shows "This Module requires a newer XposedBridge version and thus cannot be activated."
Can someone help me out?

Seems you are using an outdated version of Xposed Installer. Make sure you have the latest version 3.1.1 (see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811).
