I am having an Indian moto g2 xt1068 variant. I earlier installed android m captured soak test, then my mob started to run slow so I changed back to Cyangenmod 13 . Then again cm13 bug with touch sensitivity problem made me revert back to android l but my bootloader (unlocked) never accepted it due to Bootloader remote failure. I have installed android m again with locked bootloader but can some1 telll me how to downgrade it back to android l on moto g2. :crying:

I know we just got 4.4.4, but anyway, anyone knows if we will get L update? also when can we expect cm L, or any other ported L rom? Not a serious question, just for fun if anyone knows. They say all devices from 2013 and 2014 will get L. But they still sell our phone in the store. So are we eligable for L or not
we won't get official L update, but as soon as cm12 (?) will be official, someone will port it
a month or two, we'll get there :fingers-crossed:
Hi Guys
i'm new to this, just recently rooted my tablet and currently have kitkat 4.4.2
for some reason its not OTA enabled and not sure how to get that back
does anyone know how i can update this tablet to the latest Android version
Hey Guys!
So i am on a rooted pure edition 4.4.4 Moto X Pure Edition (XT1095).
I do get the OTA update for 5.0 but I have not downloaded it because I have rooted the phone. So my question is , can I do a complete unroot using SuperSu and then continue with the OTA?
Is that safe? If not , what is the best way to get to 5.0
Thanks

Should work just fine from 4.4.4 to 5.x It did on my 2013 Nexus 7 which was stock rooted + unlocked bootloader. The only thing I ever had to do was re-root after and you'll have to do the same. The same root method and file works on 5.0.........I just used it a couple weeks ago on my X which was on 5.0 out of the box because I just got it.
Once you're on 5.0 though it's more work to get updates. Google changed what they're looking for when checking the partitions (can't remember exactly what offhand) and now if any modifications have been made (rooted, added/removed system apps, etc.) the OTA's will fail. On my N7 I had to wait for the factory image to be released and I just flashed the system.img in fastboot. I'm not sure what will be needed on the X since the only images I see so far are for 4.4.4

Android m preview question?
I have ANDROID M PREVIEW installed will I receive official Ota ,or will I have to flash back to 5.1.1?
No, Flash straight to M when the image is released, rather than flashing 5.1.1 then accepting an OTA. That would be a waste of time and effort.
So I won't receive Ota notice then?
No, you will not. That was made official when preview 1 was released.
I have LG D958 with Android 4.4.2 want to update Android Lollipop or Marshmallow need stock rom.
I have already stock 4.4.2
Bad news, no Lollipop or Marshmellow for gflex. Kitkat is the latest and probably will stay that way.
Is there a reason for this ? is it just no one is working on it or is there an actual problem
