1. This kernel works on Y or X rom?
A: Must to be works on all CM13 based roms. Not for stock roms!!
2. OMG BATTERY SUCKZ, ITZ DEAD IN 45 MINUTES, HELP!
A: As you can imagine I don't build kernels to decrease battery life. All the battery life problems come from your apps, either Facebook, or Maps, or some Location Service being enabled etc etc. Check your damn wakelocks and fix them, the kernel is not responsible for them.

What is Power Aware Scheduling?
Power aware scheduling is a cpu capacity managing 'power scheduler' which lives by the side of the existing process scheduler. Its role is to monitor the system load and decide which cpus that should be available to the process scheduler. It will basically attempt to “pack” small tasks into the “leftmost” CPU cores (ie. starting cpu0) to keep the other cpu cores as idle as possible, instead of spreading them evenly across all online cores. Theoretically this should produce higher power efficiency. Also, theoretically performance should take a very tiny hit (when powersaving mode is enabled). To take full advantage, you need to enable “powersaving” mode - If you want to go back to default scheduling, just re-enable "performance" mode.

The battery drains quickly unfortunately (deep sleep mode bug).
Otherwise the kernel seems stable

Post your last battery cycle for i see , whats happening .. It can not be that bad , I'm using here , it's ok
anyway , this first build not have any suspend state , its the same of cm13 originals source .. I will do 3 new builds with 3 different states ( Powersuspend, LCD Notify and State Notifier) and post here for to choose which will be the best , and i release the chosen how oficial (R2) :good: :fingers-crossed:

O Kernel sem dúvida está em ótimas condições, a bateria melhora significativamente, porém eu encontrei um bug estranho.
O telefone não entra em estado de SONO PROFUNDO (DEEP SLEEP), fazendo com que o aparelho continue gastando bateria normalmente mesmo sem uso. Fiz o teste duas vezes desinstalando o kernel e alterando configurações, mas mesmo assim não tive sucesso. O que poderia ser?

So thanks to a lot of help from dhinesh77 managed to build CM for the Galaxy Music. It is almost stable, it is your choice if you use it for daily use or not (bugs below). Since it is almost stable it will be an RC release.

-Bluetooth can only send files when it is recently turned on

Requirements
You must have the CWM for the galaxy music, NOT TWRP. Post here
Also you must install cm over stock JB 4.1.X, installing from ICS 4.0.X will cause issues
Note: If after installing you have some problems about a pin unlock, try installing from a stock rom of another country

-Make a backup first just in case
-Wipe data/factory reset
-Wipe Cache
-Wipe Dalvik Cache on advanced
-Flash CM 10.1 for galaxy music

For those with the Galaxy Music Duos (GT-S6012) probably you will need to edit the updater-script in /META-INF/com/google/android/ and make it to match the device's name in your build.prop (it could be "ivoryss", "ivory" or "ivoryssxx". I hope that's enough for making it to work on the duos variant

Tengo el mismo problema, según dice el autor intenta instalar CM desde una stock ROM 4.1.2, y que sino funciona que intentes con otra de otro país, por allí leí que este error se soluciona si primero instalas la ROM de Panamá, Intentare hacer eso a ver si funciona.
Tampoco me funciono lo de Panama...

He pasado todo el dia buscando alguna solucion pero no he conseguido solucion alguna , tenia pensado bajar varios stock rom e ir probando con cada una de ellas a ver si el problema se soluciona, es una lastima que tenga este problema porque la rom esta de maravila..

you use rashr or flashify to flash recovery
@Alonso1398, any chance of getting dual sims to work?
you must port galaxy pocket 2 or young 2 roms they will work well on galaxy music as i know the ram and cpu and size of the screen is same
oryou can start using cyanogen mod 12 i think its better than cyanogen mod 10 or 11 the dous may work too

I think the young 2 and pocket 2 has different cpu so I don't think I can port from them. And I know about cm 12 and lollipop but remember I don't know too much of programing so I can't bring lollipop for now, I'm porting from pocket neo's cm 10.1 and cm 11. If it gets cm 12 I might port it

lol not yet, I think cm 12 is still in alpha state so I will wait a little bit more, however it seems that pocket neo got cm 12 so in a long future I will try to port it.
Still no progress with bluetooth in cm 10.1 but in cm 11 got egl and wifi working

I'm sorry about those problems (I don't think I can solve it) an user told me that cm 11 didn't had that bug and yesterday released the first RC so it can be used for daily use

Nope, not tested yet. For cpu have a look here: arch/x86/kernel/cpu
Dunno if that is the right one

F.A.Q. - Read this before complaining!
1. My phone exploded, HELP!
A: I don't answer to problems without a log. The log file is in /proc/last_kmsg. Paste it on hastebin.com and link it on your post. Logcats are useless for Kernel purposes, don't bother posting them.
2. This kernel works on Y or X rom?
A: Works on all CM13 based roms. Not for stock roms!!
3. OMG BATTERY SUCKZ, ITZ DEAD IN 45 MINUTES, HELP!
A: As you can imagine I don't build kernels to decrease battery life. All the battery life problems come from your apps, either Facebook, or Maps, or some Location Service being enabled etc etc. Check your damn wakelocks and fix them, the kernel is not responsible for them.
4. How do I flash this?
A: Read the OP, theres a reason why I added instructions on it.
5. What is a data loss? Did I just had one?
A: Data loss is simply having the connection cut for X periods of time, usually few seconds. Grey bars means the device is not connected to Google services for some weird reason, but you'll still have internet connection.
6. OP is arrogant, I'm gonna call the Internet Police?
A: Deal with it.

Hello folks,
I am using my own optimised builds since initial phase of CM13. Rom and kernel are both build with Uber 5.2.1 and few more optimisations on the kernel (It's same like in the first post). The Uber Toolchain developer said due to new neon optimisations in Uber toolchains, the battery life has increased by 25%. Well using since a long time, I almost get 6hrs+ SOT(Ofcourse will vary with you) and a mindblowing performance. So I am going to provide weekly Uber CM13 builds with optimisations(It is somewhat close to pf-cm by Diamond Bond). The people interested, could use it , It will stay really close to CM and few picks here and there. I would really appreciate feedbacks I am using the build posted and it's really rock stable.

Build is smooth.. No lags..
But data doesn't work .no 2g/3g..
And also hw+ decoder not suppprted in MX player.

^HW+ decoder is not supported in android M.Only MX player developer can fix it.

Mobile data is being tested by beta testers since I don't have a 3g micro sim and root explorer won't be working with cm until you install third party busybox ,or until the dev brings about proper support with toybox.

This problem with mobile data has been going on all ROMs 6.0.1. And it's not just me, has several complaints about it during the discussions. This even once had a post about it.
Esse problema com dados móveis vem acontecendo em todas as ROMs 6.0.1. E não é só comigo, tem várias reclamações sobre isso ao longo das discussões. Nesta mesmo já teve um post sobre o assunto.

Hi, I'm starting to compile, I've done some roms and this is my first kernel, I is compiled from the source code CM13 with all the latest changes, I have added some tweacks to improve battery consumption, little by little improving ,Cheers.

The best Kernel for CM and tested on my Moto X 2014 is smooooooooooth, fluid and fast. Great job and I hope we continue to improve this Kernel (hopefully fauxsound)

Unfortunately cannot provide much feedback. I stray away from the default interactive governor settings. It is stable, nice additional options for screen calibration , and running smoothly.
Plans for additional features like CPU Governors, CPU Hotplugs, I/O schedulers, and TCP Congestion Algorithms?

In this ROM don't have game launcher. Galaxy Themes are in the ROM.This ROM have good performance.
