Thank you so much I purchased the gps fix and all my troubles are gone
Probably the one thing I miss about my htc one, along with the boom sound, external speakers kinda blow in The Z1.

You should change your phone because this doesn't have any of those.

Try Flipboard, it is similar to blinkfeed

I use Socialife. Not nearly as attractive as Blinkfeed but it does the job.

why do you even bother reply, the guy is asking if there is any alternative similar to blinkfeed, if you don't have anything to say, just don't say anything

Yeah quite a few people have always rubbished HTC sense, I have always really liked it more that any other phone OS out of the box.
Never used blink feed before, sounded like nonsense to me when I first heard about it, but yeah Sony's closest to that would be social life which IMO is crap to use never updated properly.
I think I recall a developer in the Xperia Z forum doing a whole HTC Sense project for the Xperia Z, maybe he has some way to port that over for you. Might pay to have a look over there as well.
Flipboard is probably your best bet.

True, didn't even think of that, well because I had never set up my social media part, will give it a go.
I think he might have been referring to nice widgets for the stream updates.
Hi, did you ever find anything similar/ as good as BlinkFeed? Am also considering the switch to the z1 from the HTC 1

There is a new launcher that is being developed on xda-developers that is meant to be a clone of Sense 5. Here is a link to the thread:

I haven't had time to test it yet.
Are there any sound mods that are working properly for the z1 in latest .136 frimware? Like acid sound mod engine? I used to use that on my xperia arc a long time ago and it was perfect.
No. We must wait for Ac!d.

Actually there are, theres one I in the android development section, works very well. The others appear to have little to no gains. But the one that was in the development section is definitely noticeable.

Hello guys,
I flashed the latest rooted kk firmware. I also got myself. 99 recovery. I'm mostly receiving calls and calling already saved contacts, but I saw that.
I genuinely can't make any calls to new not saved numbers, I can't hide the numeric buttons there either. Green call button doesn't show up at all. Any ideas?

Caused by the gravitybox with "fixed volume buttons issue". After I disable the gravitybox it's working again.

I don't know if Asia, Dominik and Damian are happy if you give they numbers to the world.
You're right. I should delete the image since I figured out the problem and there are really weird stalkers these days

XDA used to be more private. You could only see pictures if you're logged in and same with links. I have no idea why they removed those security features.
