I'll keep it in mind but I'm not sure if playlist is obtainable by just using the share feature on the official YouTube app.

Unsupported video
Hello, @arter97.
https://youtu.be/Px6JsuH0o_s
I can't download this video because ArkTube says it's not supported.
But I think it's not a special one, login is not required, it's in public and should work with ArkTube.
I'm using version 3.0-beta.
Hi @arter97 First, nice work you put into the app. As a huge fan of yt-dl, I envisioned arkTube to be quite the coup de gras as far as scrapers are concerned. Had you been able to encapsulate in the apk more of its progenitor's power, your app would be my go-to!
Very much interested in your project, I donated toward ongoing development before testing the app to see whether (and to what degree) it worked. arkTube has potential; definitely if more of the py attributes of the original youtube-dl are permitted to work unfettered.
For now, arkTube is able to perform via the youtube app alone, rejecting shares from youtube/tubesites in browsers, other apps in general and it lacks a means of inputting URLS directly into the apllication itself.
By no means do I regret supporting your development efforts to date. I trust you are working in a conscientious manner to bring more amenable elements to the fore in due time.
Again, I appreciate and thank you for sharing your awesome work!

Seems like some quirk in YouTube, youtube-dl is failing to parse track sizes with that video.
arkTube currently rejects videos with invalid track sizes since it's used to calculate percentage.
I'll re-consider this.
Thanks.

I have now updated the first post with the current features and the upcoming features from version 1.2.0.0.
This version is already done and I only have to do some testing and I still have to remove some code that will not make the final cut for version 1.2.0.0 (concerning video playback on the phone) and might be available in a later version.
Anyway, I have tested this week and I am confident that I will be able to release this version to MS still this weekend and then it will probably be available early next week.
I would also always like to hear feedback on the current version and also feature requests for future versions.
Thank you.
I have again updated the first post with new screenshots of the upcoming version 1.2 which I have now made available to Microsoft for certification.
Version 1.2 has now been approved by Microsoft and is available on the Windows Phone Marketplace now. A link can be found at the bottom of the first post.
I am currently thinking about the next version and which features to include.
Currently, these features are under consideration:
- Playback of rendered clips (already working in my current beta build but not for all clips)
- More information about rank (cR needed to rank up, total cR, list of all ranks with cR requirements)
- Game history (list of recent games)
This is also the order in which I would like to make these features available.
Any thought on these features or other feature request would be appreciated.
I once again made some changes which I would like to share with you.
This version is not yet available on the marketplace and there are still many things I have to do.
However, I still wanted to share the attached screenshot of this built in progress.
As you can see I have moved the emblem to the rank page and I increased the emblem size and quality along with that.
This means that on the player page you can see your spartan without the emblem being in the way.
The Rank Page now also features the Primary Armor Color (in this case green).
Additional changes which you cannot see in this screenshots include:
- Settings are accessible from Medals, File Details and Video Details
- When a Commendation is at Onyx Max, the app will still show the current number instead of "> 20,000" (in the case of "Dome Inspector")
For Commendations I am also thinking about showing the amout of Credits a player gets (both for completing it once and for reaching a certain tier) and maybe the total amount of credits the player has received through this Commendation.
Again, feature requests and feedback would be welcome.
I used to have this app and it was nice to have. I think the reason you don't get much feedback is simply Halo Waypoint that now gives you all your Halo Reach stats.
Maybe you could work on something for Call of Duty (or something else, just a suggestion).
Yeah I know that is why I try to add features and statistics that Waypoint does not offer, like Commendations or File Share/Recent Screenshots.
You should prepare a Gears of War 3 app, you have a couple of months before release .
If anybody would like to beta test the upcoming version please send me a PM.
Here's the current list of new features:
- Limited video playback option
- Settings are accessible from Medals, File Details and Video Details
- Onyx Max Commendations show current numbers
- Rank employs Armor Color
- Rank shows Credits required to rank up and current Credits
- Emblem moved to Rank
- Emblem size increased
- 4 thumbnail previes for rendered videos
- Correct format for numbers and dates depending on user settings
as well as some other minor stuff.
I have now submitted version 1.3 to Microsoft for testing and I will update the first post as soon as it is released.
After that I will look into Mango features and while users of Windows Phone 7.0 will still be able to download version 1.3, there will be only be new features for 7.1 users.
I have now updated the first post with information regarding the current release.
Like I said this will the final release for pre-Mango users.
I plan on including a Live Tile in Mango which will allow you to pin a gamertag to the start screen. It would show your player model and some stats (probably your overall Matchmaking K/D) on the new back site of the Mango Live Tile.
I have changed my mind a little on how to continue with development.
The next release will be available to all Windows Phone Users and will not feature Mango specific features.
Creating and updating a live tile in the background is not that easy so I will have to do some testing on that as soon as I am able to run Mango on my phone.
The emulator is not so useful because I can't really test how the live tile works or does not work in the long term and I cannot try out different connections (Wifi vs 3G).
Therefore there will be an update before for Mango Users that features simple thinks like fast app switiching.
This is the current plan for the future:
-1.4: Integration of Halo: Reach Challenge Initiative
-1.5: Mango Update (fast app switiching)
-1.6: Live Tile
As you can see from version 1.5 onward new features will only be available to Mango Users.
New feature requests are of course always welcome and if you would like to be a beta tester contact me via private message.
I have again changed my plans.
I want to get out an update for Windows Phone 7.5 as soon as possible. One reason is that with Windows Phone 7.5 this app will be able to play all rendered videos in 360p (and 720p if you have rendered the video in HD).
However, the HRCI API is not yet complete. Therefore I will probably disable HRCI and remove HRCI integration from the next release (version 1.4)
This is now the new schedule:
1.4:
- Mango-only update (support for Mango features such as fast-app switching)
- playback option for all rendered videos
1.5 (still Mango only because the rollout seems to be pretty smooth):
- HRCI Integration
The live tile requires a lot of testing and might either come in 1.5 but if the HRCI API is complete shortly after the release of 1.4, the live tile will come in a later update in 1.6
Anyway, for the new features (including the live tile) I would welcome beta testers, especially if you are running Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango).
If you would like to participate, you can either let me know through this forum or sign up on this website:
Windows Phone Beta
OK 1.4 is now almost complete.
I have released a beta that features HRCI Integration on WindowsPhoneBeta.com. There are still open slots so if you are intersted please join.
This is still a 7.0 app so there is no fast app switching, but if you have 7.5 you can look forward to support for all rendered videos.
I will probably release this within a week and then, again about a week later I will update it to Mango.
However, HRCI will be removed from the final release because it is not yet done. HRCI will be added later when the guy who runs the site says it is ok.
Thus, this is the (final!) plan:
1.4 (7.0, ~week of Novemeber 7th):
- Video playback for 7.5 users
- other minor improvements
1.5 (7.5, ~week of November 14th):
- Mango specific features
Later:
- HRCI
- Live Tile
very good app
After many delays I am finally able to release version 1.4 on the Windows Phone Marketplace.
This version has a slightly different icon because I was not allowed to continue using the Halo Logo in the app.
I have also updated the first post to reflect the current version.
The most important new feature is the option to play all rendered videos on Windows Phone 7.5 ("Mango").
You will be able to play videos in 360p SD an/or 720p HD, depending on the resolution you selected while rendering the video. Although 720p HD streaming does work, it requires a fast connection and even then it will stutter.
Therefore I recommend to always play videos in 360p.
Among some UI changes I have also added an option to save an image of the player model (spartan) to the pictures hub and I have made several efforts to speed up the app.
One of those efforts it the new setting "Connection". Until now, the app always used "Fast" and I suggest that you keep on using this setting.
The setting "Slow" will transmit less data, but the phone will need to parse this data. This will help if your connection is very slow (slower than 3G) and the download itself takes very long.
There is also a History which stores that last 50 gamertags you used. The most recently used gamertags will always be on top. Because of that history, you will not have to save the gamertag anymore. Instead, the gamertag will be saved automatically as soon as you navigate away from the settings page.
Please note that gamertags will only be added to the history when you download stats for them from either the main page ("reload") or the settings page ("Test Gamertag").
As always, feature requests are welcome, but since the time I have for this app is very limited, I cannot guarantee anything.
EDIT: Also it might take some time for the update to roll out to all users. If you download (or already have) version 1.3 you should see that an update is available on the Marketplace Live Tile within the next 24 hours.
If you want to beta test the upcoming Mango version, you can register your interest on Windows Phone Beta
This version has mostly only adjustments to make it work better on Windows Phone 7.5.
Most notably, 1.5 features Fast-App-Switching Support.
Furthermore, you can now pin gamertags to the start screen. These Tiles are not yet Live Tiles (meaning they won't update in the background), but if I get enough data from testers I might be able to implement Live Tiles in a future version.
However, most likely Live Tiles will only work for users with fast data connections (like 3G+, "4G" on the Radar or LTE in the future). I will allow users on all devices to enable Live Tiles, but for users with slower connections they will most likely not work as expected.
Hello,
as some of you might now, after March 31st, Bungie will no longer have access to new stats from Halo: Reach. New stats will only be available on Halo Waypoint (by 343 Industries) and some features will not be continued.
Unfortunatly, one of those scrapped features is the API I use to get all the data for the app.
That means that after March 31st, 2012, the data the app can access will not be updated anymore.
While the API will remain functional for some time and you will be able to continue to use the app, it will be way less useful without recent stats.
Furthermore, my time is limited and I worked on this as a hobby and to improve my programming skills.
I have contiuend development of this app a little bit and I still have a couple of unreleased but more or less working features:
- Mango support
- Pinning a gamertag to the start screen
I will probably release this along with some information about the API shutdown before March 31st as a final update.
While there are of course ways to adapt the app to those changes and to access the data on Halo Waypoint, it would take too much time for me and as such I have no other choice but to discontinue this app.
TL;DR summary:
On March 31st, everything the app can download will become static (no new data).
It will continue to work for some time after March 31st, but without live or recent data.
I will release one final update with a couple of new features but mostly to inform users about this.
I would also like to thank all Beta testers and the 4,000+ users of my app.
Version 1.5 has now been released and will be available to download within a couple of hours.
This update does not fix the issue where the stats do not update anymore. The last update of the stats was March 31st 2012 and there is nothing I can do to change that (read the previous post).
However, this update does bring some new features:
- option to pin gamertags to the homescreen for quick access
- Fast-App-Switching Support
- option to share files on your social networks.
And finally there is also a notice to inform users that this app does not update anymore that it will stop working completely at some point.
Challenges do not seem to be affected (so these are still the current challenges), but the player's progress is not available anymore.
Anyway, thanks to more than 4000 users and over 100 reviews.

FAQ :
What is this ?
A : The title describe it. This is a music player with Holo style.
What is the base of this music player ?
A : It's based on AOSP Music Player (2.3 version).
How many features you can count in this music player ?
A : Well, I think there's 6 or 7 special features. There's nothing special in this music player.
Why don't you add features such as XXX and YYY ?
A : If I could do it then I MAY add it.
Hey, You're copying XXX Music Player ! ****** ! ***** !
A : I'm trying to look original as I could. So if my music player looks same like other music player, then it's only an accident.
Can I ask ETA ?
A : Sure, if I allow you. If I don't allow you to ask ETA, then, DON'T.
Can you add Gingerbread support ?
A : I'm currently trying. So please wait.
It's the same music player on my device !
A : Sometimes manufacturer uses modified AOSP music player, and it's the same like mine.
Can I donate ?
A : Nope, but you can press thanks (you don't need if you didn't want it)
Can I contribute ?
A : Sure, just clone / fork my repo then I'll see what's changed from your version. If it's good enough, I'll merge it.
Can I fork your repo ?
A : Of course, you can.
Can I use this in my ROM / firmware ?
A : Yes, but give the right credits for the music player.
Why the sources are broken ?
A : I'm still investigating this. I'm sure there's an error in java files.
I want to report a bug !
A : Go ahead ! Your report are appreciated.
Please add support for this file format !
A : If Google add it, then I will add it too.

Hmmh, Okay, I'll try my best to implement it.
Anyway, I'm implementing Apollo Music Player statusbar function (the play, next, prev button on statusbar) and I have increased minSDK to 15 and maxSDK to 19 (targetSDK still 17).
sounds cool, but dont stress you,we have many time.

Don't worry. I'm not stressed, instead, I feel happy since it's the first app thread I made for L7.
Oh, anyway, here's what I've working this time :
- Full Holo UI [98%]
- Interactable notification [0%] [haven't got any source]
- Bug fixes [5%]
I have some bug left before I release the v1.1, stay tuned !
Update is on guys !
I have ported native xLoud from Walkman (you still need to use Xperia phone for this) and I also ported lockscreen controls from Apollo.
Enjoy !
good work, ilove this player, looks cool,is simple and currently the only player which work for me,sometimes, lol.i have attached screenshots from version 1.1.
please keep it up.greeeetz!!!!
OK guys, I almost implemented Apollo style statusbar controller.
I and my friend @AngSanley will try to port this music player to Gingerbread without losing Holo UI.
So, current progress :
- Full Holo UI [99%]
- Interactable notification [75%] [Port from Apollo]
- Bug fixes [76%]
Update is up !
There's almost no features is new in this update. This update only introduce native Holo notification. It also have some heavy bugfixes.

I'll stay tuned alright! Pretty excited for the full holo UI and the Holo Light/Dark themes. Keep this up! I've been looking for a back-to-basics player like this for a while.
Feature requests:
-Now Playing panel controls while browsing music a la NexMusic?
-Option to start music playing without going to the Now Playing screen?
I would suggest more but I realize certain things are out of the scope of this project lol.

Thanks ! Glad you like it.
I'll try to create feature you requested.
Update is on GitHub guys !
Here's the link for the new update. I have added some features, too.
Oh, also, the QuickPlayer (the small player that pops up when you click .mp3 file) is added based on request. It has a new Holo UI and the resource is from AOSP 4.4.2.
Stay tuned for another new release !
YES loving the design updates, although the title text (song names, album names, etc.) seems just a bit small, idk. And it seems the album drop down after tapping an artist name has white text on white, just pointing it out.
Also the changelog said something about the ability to stream, is that in the currently broken settings menu?

"L-Droid is a rom loosely based off of SlimRoms AOSP sources with various sources picked from other great developers. I have spent the last 6 months putting together a ROM for my Galaxy S3 that I could use as a daily driver and also contains all the features I like on my phone. This rom comes with all the bells and whistles but without taking a hit on battery life. I do this on my spare time and absolutely love it so I hope you'll like my work. As I am just setting up my thread I will add more detail on this later. If at any point you have a bug or a feature request to point out, I would be more than willing to look into it as long as I have a logcat or source code to work with. Enjoy! "

OMFG, I cannot believe how dope this ROM is and, further more, I can't believe no one's commented yet. I know this phone is all but dead to a lot of people, but still. I still use mine and you, my good sir, just took it up some levels. Haven't signed in since upgrading to 4.4 in the Spring, but I had to to show my thanks to you. Even as a port, this looks to be incredibly packaged. I'm coming from Resurrection Remix, which was fire, itself, so the fact that I like this one just as much says something. More, due to the customization options. That's really what it comes down to for me, nowadays. So, thanks. A lot. Great work, man.
Edit: The Gapps you posted don't seem to have the typical Gapps like music and Gmail.. Already downloaded Play Music, but do you think it's better to install apps like Gmail through recovery or does it not matter if I just download that, too, from the store?

thank you for your kind words, glad to hear your enjoying the ROM so much. as for gapps it doesn't really matter how you get them but I prefer to keep it basic and use banks gapps, updating through the play store just gets you the latest version of gmail, maps, etc. I'll add another link or two for gapps later into the op, most likely it will be pa and slim or plain old Google gapps...

really all depends on what kernel you run it with. i suggest giving neat and neo kernel a try, neat is more up to date and neo development has stopped for us but still works. neat=417mb neo=415mb...
UPDATE: wtf not sure what's up with my screenshot I attached but yea, lol. Op updated with four different links to gapp's now.

With Neat kernel the ROM is very fast and smooth but GPS doesn't work. I didn't try with Neo.
Edit: double tap to sleep doesn't work. I can't find kill app button.
Edit: Edit: I found a fix for double-tap to sleep from here:

it works.

1. Short explanation: choice.
Long explanation: Some want to install all Google features so they prefer PA where they have choice of modular packages. Same thing with BanK's GApps. I for one prefer the minimal package Bank GApps offers because I only want the essentials for minimal battery impact. Your milleage may vary.
2. No. In fact "Current bootloop with ART" is posted as a Known Issue in the original thread. ART is also not suggested in its KitKat form because it is an experimental and incomplete, bug-ridden runtime. Expect the completed form in the next major Android version this year. Also, ART is also not suggested because apps can take more space in the device and all GS1 variants have little of everything, including RAM by today's standards.
3. About Xposed on ART? Not likely on KitKat. More here.

I didn't say anything against your ROM. In fact, before I changed bootloaders, not even the stock CM kernel made videos work. Now that I came back to the default bootloader, the latest sada's build (stock CM kernel) is working fine since the day it was released. I don't have the need to change kernels for the first time since CM7 and Bionix-v days. I may venture to other configurations soon, just had to make sure the default kernel worked.

Information
These are the monthly releases of CM with some modifications and touch ups that will be listed below, They are meant for users who want a stable ROM without the need to flash nightly releases and risking a Nandroid, anyone who has enjoyed the stability of my Google Edition ROM should give this a go
all builds have their core features tested (Camera, bluetooth, bluetooth audio, tethering, USB audio, Data, Voice calls etc), I also adb debug each release and look for any redflags, I then set up the phone and daily drive it with a few of my testers and once I deem the release stable it will be posted here.
Note: The CM camera works but it's not the best, SnapCam HDR (Paid app) from the market is much more stable and has a ton more features (these developers only focus on the 4.4 open source camera and making it better), I highly suggest doing what I do and removing the stock Camera and Gallery and using this awesome app which also includes a gallery with more features, myself and ktoonsez swear by it. The stock files are found in system/app.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[B]06/01/2014[/B]
I was VERY happy with how 5/31/2014 ran on my phone but noticed a few commits merged last night that were authored by bossman Cyanogen himself, so here is your changelog. I feel like the foundations of this ROM are set now which I knew would take a few builds
so if all goes well with this, I will start bi-weekly releases because I'm extremely sick of full wiping/testing/compiling, I just wanna use my phone as a phone!!
stagefright: yield callbackDispatcher to writer only for video
libstagefright: Fix to handle EAGAIN error on first read to source
audio: mute duration at the beginning of recording
Bluetooth: Fix for device gets stuck in pairing
Bluetooth: turn on lcd during Connection
camera: Disable extra HDR frame on QCOM_HARDWARE - HDR fix for third party apps
appops: Fix WIFI_SCAN AppOp permission index
nxp: Include support declaration for Mifare tags
[B]Everything but the app ops commit was merged into the stable branch of CM 11, these were necessary changed to warrant an update[/B]
Enjoy!

idmap: reduce CREATING STRING CACHE verbosity
Merged latest cLock widget
Added Stock MMS back in the build as it's theme friendly
Made number picker dialog in MMS and Contacts a neutral gray so no theme will make the txt invisible
Option to show missed notification count in Interface>Statusbar now works for Email/Gmail
Included Apollo in the build to play nice with lockscreen targets, feel free to remove yourself
Removed open music app on headset connect, does not work on most music apps including poweramp

more that I'm probably forgetting but this is the important stuff

wm: Underp menu key release processing (doesn't effect Titanium so don't ask, thats a TB bug)
Fix circle battery opaqueness for the low battery color
Reduce memory leaks by removing all views.
CMAccount: fix setup wizard crash
Themes: Add read/write permissions - 2 commits
Fix broken tags
Remove Status bar notification count checkbox preference <--- main reason for this update, I don't like broken toggles in my settings menus, no idea why CM just leaves them in there, it's rather annoying when there is ZERO java controlling them
every other commit is super minor but we are fully synced up to date with CM

A2DP: Stop spamming log with buffer size
Make KeyguardMultiUserAvater fully themable

These builds are unified and I've been releasing to all other carriers for several months now, might as well make it available to you guys too
thanks for a great rom:fingers-crossed:
Very nice!
Thanks for sharing!!
Installed and running superbly thus far! Cannot complain about anything...and it feels great to come back to a stock feel
UPDATE!
Man I just have to say battery life is amazing so far! I'm sitting at 49% with just close to 10 hours being either used or standby. My screen on time is just shy over 2 hours so far. I'm very impressed!
Is the compass working?
Thank you,
Man this ROM is my new daily. Simple interface, fast, and stable with no bloat in sight. Everything I look for in a ROM.
Huge thank you to Dan & Ktoon for this.
This rom is really nice. I did notice a couple of things that i figured i would point out.
1. Calendar and GMail weren't included in gapps. No big deal, downloaded from the app store.
2. WiFi is a little temperamental. I noticed when i had it plugged in, it disconnected and wouldn't reconnect. Then, when i tried to turn it off, it wouldn't. Then i when it finally connected, it wouldn't turn off. i know this is a cm issue as well. Reboot fixes the issue.
3. Bluetooth doesn't disconnect from pairing.
Other than that, everything else seems to work great. Thanks

terribly sorry for this... its stable though, M9 caused me no problems whatsoever. m10 just didn't cut it
Big improvement over the first version. Bluetooth was the same on cm11 which i know you pulled from. So far no issues to report. thanks
Does MMS send/receive over 3G on this rom? Cyanogenmod has been having trouble with this on their own rom for quite a while.
Yes it does
Anyone know why I lose so much space on cm roms?

This is a cm thing. I have seen it mentioned in other forums.
Initial review of this rom:
The new version is much better than the first version. No issues with Data, Bluetooth, Wifi or GPS. Actually, everything is very smooth and responsive.
Twice last night i had an issue while reading web pages with chrome. The app would close by itself, the phone became unresponsive, once the recent app list came up, the other time was half notification bar. Nothing would work on the phone, so i pulled the battery. Haven't been able to do it again, and if it does happen and i am near a computer i will upload a log.
I also switched to ART this morning, everything is smooth and working well.
Thanks for the awesome rom.
Anyone know of a tool or manual process on adding mods/apps to a rom. I've been flashing roms a lot lately and I hate having to do it manually every time.
Mods/Apps I would like to add my self:
Viper4Android
Lenevo Camera w/ Libs
eXtremeBeats Studio
Edit: Just flashed the ROM and set everything up. I finally feel like I'm on a stable ROM. Thank you!!
Second day, not a single issue. 15 on battery, almost 4 hours screen on time! Awesome!
Just tried out this rom. Everything is looking to be working quite well! Thanks for fixing so many things!
All the radio fixes (especially the MMS over 3G) should be submitted directly to CM's gerrit: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/
For some reason they have been working very slowly on fixing these core functions.
So after 3 days, the only issue I have is at night I read a bunch of different websites on chrome and the program crashes and phone freezes. Nothing works until I press and hold the power button to hot boot the phone. Here is a log, I hope I did it right.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ly9aicq02zkapnl/logcat.txt?dl=0
Does anyone know why I go from 16 gb showing to 9.59 when I use cyanogen rom?

How to report bugs:
Write what you did when the bug was introduced, check if the bug can be reproduced and how it is reproduced.
If it only appears 1 time and does not happen again then it cannot be taken as a bug, so you should not report it.
To take error logs you can use Matlog from google play
Or you can install busybox for NDK using Magisk, then go to Settings-> xperience settings-> alessa,
Go to Tools and select Logcat and dmesg, a file will be generated in the path specified in that option.
-- You can use the terminal in linux or cmd in windows
on windows install minimal adb
on Linux (debian based):
Code:
sudo apt-get install adb -y
both linux and windows is the same command
Code:
adb shell logcat> log.txt
you can upload your bug report here at xda or use https://pastebin.com/ , https://del.dog/ , https://paste.ubuntu.com/
