[Q] Looking for complete working s5 mods for S3 LTE

Hai all,
so im looking for s5 mods for my s3 lte. i have tried this one here, to no avail.. it goes all well in aroma installer, and after phone reboots all apps FC and
also lagging and freezing with screen. so is there anyone who knows how to get s3 lte as close as to s5 look overall?
i have tried this with The galaxy project v17.00, 4.3 jellybean rooted and deodexed, no luck! anyone can help me out here..?
there is a s5 mod pack addon for TGP v17.00, anyone using this or had used it can tell me about it? fully functional? things that i need to keep in mind before trying out?

EDIT: Found!! amcha rom who is working perfect with s5 theme!! nice and smooth

The problem I find when applying s5 mods to the i9305 is that the keyboards will lose all its symbols for smileys for some reason.

yes, youre right i just noticed that and i dont see them also, although when i tap the empty space in emoticons it does work, they are just not visible some how need to find a solution for that..

What Rom are you running on your T3?

There's a lot of fragmented info
I'm running echoes rom v4 but can't send nor receive MMS and also can't minimize Action Memo's (the small floating icon immediately vanishes)

Stock, rooted, de-knox, beastmode kernel... Echoe rom v3+4 gives me gps issues, the status is ugly in v4, otherwise great rom. And to fix the action memo problem you must go to settings>developers options > revert back the windows + transition animation to 1x

Aznvi3tric3guy, I don't know how to thank you.
Indeed echoe has been giving GPS hell,and your animation suggestion fixed my action memo (God I miss firekat on my old note 4 non t3)
Any chance you can pm me? I'd love to ask you a few more questions and also buy you a beer ($30 paypal)

Can anyone direct me to the beastmode kernel? Looked everywhere to no avail...

Can anybody post if you had to take any special steps to flash on our variant? And links would be nice too. Just so we know what is safe to flash for our model.

Maximum ovrdrive w/ a stock system UI. Works solid for me... Sometimes i get a slowdown when i try to unlock the phone idk why it does that but i noticed it with other roms as well. Maybe it's a kernal thing.

Samsung released new app- Game Tuner for galaxy lollipop phones.
It is very amazing app for tuning game quality on phones.
But as for now it is only compatible with Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6Edge+ and some Galaxy S6/Edge.
If you own any other phones bad luck....even some galaxy s6 users

I have made a flashable zip which will install Game tuner app on the touchwiz lollipop roms.
it is tested on
-Galaxy S6 U2COI5 firmware
-Galaxy S5 xterolite rom
but should work on every TW lollipop roms.

Try reducing graphics to minimum quality. .then check...if it still doesn't work ..then maybe it needs some hardware support..

Well I mean when I flashed it, it didn't install. Btw, I used flashfire because I don't have a custom recovery on my phone. Might be a reason

So 50% means 1440*0.5 * 2560*0.5? That's actually 1/4 of the resolution and pretty confusing. Anyway, Samsung's fault. You did a great job!! Works perfectly fine with my Galaxy S6 running Xtrestolite 2.4.

Yes I did it. My TWRP Version is 2.8.7.1. I just noticed that the model 925K can be seen in the options and not 920F. I think it's a change of the Rom. Is this a problem?

Anyone tried this on Mako 4.2, I installed it via playstore but it says incompatible with my model. 920I

I'm using it on my 920f with rom and kernel in my signature.
I have only modified one thing.. product name in build.prop. xtrestolite 2.4 has, as default name, not 920f, so that you can use netflix. Because i don't use this app i have changed name putting original one.
P.s. i have downloaded app from playstore and it works.

just replaced the logo.jpg of arter97 and put the s7 one
can someone confirm it's working?

Actually I voted for a S7 Edge port, but I think a stock 6.0.1 S5 ROM with ported S7 apps would be better.

Hi my friend, when you want a rom S7, it is worth buying a S7.
I prefer a stable S5 rom stock and tunned that works very well (and possibly with some apps S7).
If in addition there is a custom kernel super good, even better
But what would be particularly well is to propose a rom with Aroma Installer, to leave the choice of debloat or no the rom ...

I am working on it, porting is going to be quick but making it stable will be tricky. I also see why people would want a s5 rom - it's very stable from the gecko but porting all the apps might be tricky especially AOD.

Thanks , I hope it does I got a bootloop on the s7 edge rom. I will debug it tomorrow. Hopefully it boots

Bootloop Fixed! Now it just doesn't boot all the way :crying:

Make a ROM where the GPS works all the time and doesn't loose position every minute or so. Last proper ROM I had was 4.x. I think I go back to 4.X.

Well, I have hoped for a stock ROM, but as you already started, it's o.k. :good:
I'm very eager to see what's coming out at the end.
I cross my fingers for you and wish you good luck and a big succes with the ROM. Hope that you can get over all the problems others already had with a S7 Edge port.
