Hey guys, i installed xposed on stock android nexus 6p (rooted obviously). But now i am getting these errors:
com.android.providers.partnerbookmarks this one seems to occur whenever i open a google chrome link in an app.
android.process.media This one seems to occur randomly.
It is not really bad yet, it happens every once in a while, but if there is a fix, that'd be great.
EDIT: I haven't had the errors in a while, even when i opened chrome links. Maybe my phone just needed a restart which i did. But i'm still a bit concerned.

Hey all,
I am currently running my VZW Galaxy Tab with a stock 2.2 Froyo build that is rooted and running Boushh's KhasMek Kernel V5.
Ever since I installed that kernel, I have been experiencing constant force closes. It's really not any one app either, it is most of them. So far, I have put the freeze (via Titanium Backup) on all the apps that have FC'd a lot that I don't use. Maps was one of the biggest culprits. Facebook FCs a lot as well, and the only way to fix it is to go into app management and clear data. Similar issues with random games and such as well.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple apps, and this helps for a time, but doesn't last too long. I have tried switching launchers, just in case it was somehow related, but it doesn't seem to be.
Basically, whenever I leave the tablet on idle for more than a few minutes, when I unlock it something hangs and I get an FC of a random app.
And a lot of times, it just does the single vibrate, followed by two quick ones, and nothing comes up as having FC. But, in the mean time, the tablet is unusable until it hits the second set of vibrations.
This is extremely annoying and is preventing usage of the tablet for periods of time. So, I am wondering, is anyone else experiencing this? If so, what have you done to fix it? At this point, I am inclined to just revert back to stock, though I would rather not.
Thanks for any insight.
As of now, I am constantly getting
com.google.process.gapps
force closing.
When I installed Xposed, everything seemed to be in order aside from a subjectively longer reboot than normal. The only module I have installed (and the only reason atm for me having Xposed installed) was to kick the pesky ISIS app past the "Your phone is rooted" message. Both apks were downloaded from XDA as well. After several unbearably long freezes and general sluggishness reminiscent of my Evo 3D, I ended up uninstalling ISIS as well as Xposed which returned my phone to its normal speedy operation. It should be noted however that while it was runny slow and freezing, ISIS did function properly and allowed me to add things as if I weren't rooted. I'd be more than happy to re-install and try again, but I thought I'd pick the brains of the big wigs here first and see if anyone had any thoughts before I do so. Also if it matters, my GS5 is the T-Mobile version.

I have no noticable lag or freezing with Xposed installed with several modules running. I did have the issue with ISIS not wanting to run with a rooted device but RootCloak fixed that for me.
There is a issue with s-health service fc that cause this slow down. In this same forum you can find some workaround i don't remember (even though I've used it)
Please check the existing thread.
Hello folks.
I couldn't manage to find any other suitable title for my thread because thats it. My phone is damn slow.
I bought it on expansys month ago already and returned it because it wasn't what I expected - slow, unresponsive, wifi problems, battery problems. I got new one like a week ago and it was same "crap".
So I decide to root it and flash custom ROM - CM 12.1 for THEA. Worked like a charm for a day (or less) but okay. Yesterday I started experiencing problems. All of sudden phone restarted and when it booted up, started to boot again - bootloop I guess.
Somehow I managed to get it working. "Apps X out of Y are updating", when it finished after like 2 reboots it worked.
But later in the day "Auto Rotate" didn't work anymore (gyro out or something), people couldn't reach me, I couldn't reach them (had to call like 3 times to make it work) and its slow.
I reinstalled ROM today and wont install any application for now to see how long will it work normal.
Its strange that this is second model that I got and its still laggy. Could it be in my google account something terribly wrong? Only apps that are essential to me were installed (like 25-30), only official.
Anyone have a slightest idea of what is going on?
Thanks
the moto e 2015 is the same, very laggy device. i think alot of it is because of the memory leak 5.0.2 has. try to use xposed lollipop and the memory leak module.
Somehow I can't install Xposed (tried "xposed-sdk22-arm-xxxxxx.zip"). Therefore no modules work.
Whats the point of "Android is starting. Optimizing app x of y" ? I get this every restart...
Xposed will work on 5.0.2. If your on 5.1 search xda for the alpha xposed for lollipop 5.1. Works fine here.
Yeah found it. Installed "Lollipop Memory Leak" module. Next few days will tell if phone is worth keeping.
Anyway this question its still hot, why "Android is starting. Optimizing app x of y" pops up after restart? I get feeling something is wrong all the time.
Mine is very slow too. Pretty annoying actually. And when I watch videos on Instagram or Facebook, the sound and video is never in sync.
I put xposed with the lollipop mem leak module on my rooted xt 1072 and also gravity box and I think things like sluggishness and overall speed has improved.
Yes this phone is so slow it's painful. I got this phone because my nexus 6 is in for repair and as soon as it's back I'm returning this poor excuse for a phone. I wasn't expecting flagship performance but my god this thing is so so slow, and I get a horrible hiss when I'm make or recieve a call.
I've been using the debloated 5.0.2 FW (pre-rooted 23.1.A.0.726 with Xposed) for months now with no issues, but one day the RAM started going crazy and has been for a month now. Every time I open an app, things in the background start restarting in a loop and multitasking is basically impossible. Restarting and clearing cache/dalvik-cache hasn't helped at all. I don't know if this is the Lollipop memory leak bug (I thought Sony had fixed this), but it's really strange that this came seemingly out of nowhere. I've attached some screenshots. Not really sure what to make of it, but memory state is in "critical" most of the time, and Google Play Services and Snapchat usage seems unusually high. Before, I had quite a few apps running in the background and the phone handled it like a champ; rarely any app refreshes, redraws, etc. Now it feels like i have 512MB of RAM again...
Anybody experiencing this? I'm thinking this could be coming from a rogue Xposed module or something. The problem is the worst if I'm using Chrome or Snapchat, but still occurs elsewhere. Any recommendations on where to find the cause?
I get exactly the same issues as you. No idea why that happens. After exiting an app and going back to Google now launcher it would've restarted so all the icons take awhile to load again and the app drawer too. This is quite annoying but a reboot fixes it. Sadly I might have to do this once a day or so, hence making the experience rather irritating.

It's happening to me too. I'm hoping it's a 5.0.2 LP bug and will be resolved with 5.1.1's release sometime this month (fingers crossed!)
That said, I've tried nearly all the stock rom iterations on this board and Wajk's 23.2.A.1.62 build seems to be the most stable, even with Xposed installed. Version 1.1 and 1.3 of his Slim rom still had restarts (I never tried 1.2), but they actually restarted, whereas other stock roms wouldn't, and the apps that restarted remained closed until reopened manually, so I missed messages and emails all the time, and experienced launcher redraws often.
Currently, I'm on 1.4 of his rom and it seems less stable, but that could be because I had dirty flashed from 1.3, and previously dirty flashed from 1.1. Version 1.5 should be out soon, so if that doesn't improve it, I'm going to clean wipe and re-install.
Bought this T710 at launch and ever since the first Marshmallow update, I am constantly bombarded with random apps crashing, and the tablet randomly rebooting. This is when it's on the Stock ROM and unrooted.
I then tried to flash Lineage OS 14.1 on it and things got a little bit better. It's still rebooting randomly, but not as often, and apps will crash occasionally when launched for the first time.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing these reboots and crashes? I've been having this problem for months now, and would really like to be able to fix it if possible.
Yeah. I'm experiencing the same thing since updating to M. Never had this in L. Happens especially after watching YouTube for extended periods.
