Most of new smartphones have a Hdmi output, MHL conector or DLNA TV link, but we have in our Optimus Black WiFi Direct.I have found inretesting video which confrims that steaming to HMDI via WiFi Direct is possible. So we can see the same in TV sceen and in our display.

Maybe there is also another posiblities to steam via Wifi. Please tell me yours opinions.
Personally I have HTPC running Openelec. Using i.e. BubbleUPNP it is easy to stream to phone or back to the HTPC ( both ways ) . There are many Android apps capable to communicate with Openelec or XBMC based machine.
Cheapest and fun way to accoplish that task is to use Raspberry Pi as DLNA server.
I had no possibility to check but any DLNA capable TV should work with propper android app installed on P970.
I found application MirrorOp. So can stream my screen view to computer. But via wifi is slow down.

i was wondering, is there anyway to port Smartshare to an installable APK for use in other roms?

Anything is possible, but it is highly unlikely as the LG apps require the underlying framework to function - which means they won't work on non-stock-based ROMs.
that sucks, so it's like some Samsung apps? Is smartshare the only app that can stream videos over wifi direct to a tv? is there any other app that can do this too? so far i have found none.

There not much widespread adoption of wifi direct in applications, but im sure there must be something out there to perform that function. Most modern tvs are capable of streaming for a upnp share, might be able to set one up on your phone.
something like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bubblesoft.android.bubbleupnp&hl=en (i havnt tested it)
Hi guys I've searched for this but haven't found anything on it really. Is there an app or an xposed module that will allow me to share my screen to a DLNA compatible renderer. For instance I want to see everything I'm doing on by phone via my Xbox through bubbleupnp?
Is this possible? Thanks guys
Edit: I assume it is possible since kit kat allows screen record and bubbleupnp already allows audio cast. Same concept just video instead of audio

Hi,
I'm really new to raspi, I saw many ports for Android.
I was just wondering if it's technically possible to have a miracast implementation using the inbuilt wifi?
I saw one for pi2 but with an external dongle
Just wondering thanx in advance

I use albfan miraclecast on ubuntu mate
It works with built in bcm43430 wifi dongle
Raspbian not work because systemd version too old
Use someone KODI, openelec , librelec, and If you have not enabled it yet, go to System - Settings - Services - Airplay and check "Allow XBMC to receive AirPlay conent" (without password protection).
Hi,
Quest:
I am trying to find an easy way of controlling my Philips Android 7 TV from my Note 8 phone, using voice commands (Google), without using a separate device.
Status:
The TV does not have a built in microphone, nor does it's remote. I am also using a Rii Mini i13 remote that does have a built in microphone, but the microphone part does not work with the TV.
Question:
Does anyone know if that is possible, and if yes, how can i do it?
Thanks,
Daniel

It works fine with this remote: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.bouyguestelecom.remote
Just as the official Google remote it is extremely bad at keeping connection when restarting the TV though. I have to pull the plug.
