Have SSU Pro installed. It was working.
Today when I launched it, I got just a black screen and then nothing. Had to hit the power button after hitting the "menu" button in order to get a working screen back (without a restart).
Removed SSU, restarted, reinstalled SSU, restarted, no difference. Can't get to root, but can't do anything there. Can see SU binary, but can't remove it.
Tried the latest beta, no difference.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Active G870A
Android 4.4.4
Any other info needed, please ask.
Have it installed on another phone that was rooted, works fine there.

I'm sorry if this has been answered before, I searched but wasn't able to find anything.
It started when my phone suddenly didn't recognize the sd card. I took the card out and put it back in a couple of times, and reebooted the phone a couple of times. After that didn't work, I figured I would factory reset the phone, and as I did, it started to reboot, but was never able to boot back up.
When I now try to boot the phone, I get to the initial Samsung-S4 Active GT-I9295 -logo, and it says BOOTING RECOVERY in the top left corner, but after ~2 seconds it shuts off.
Interesting: It only boots a couple of seconds after I let go of the power button.
The phone was rooted using this guide: (not able to post links. The guide is on android geeks, and can be found by searching for Root Galaxy S4 Active (International I9295 and AT&T I337 models))
And Xposed was installed, but no modules were activated.
Firmware was 4.2.2 MF/MU 3 - something, I think. Sorry I cannot remember. I got it OTA some two weeks ago.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
EDIT: When playing around with it, I managed to solve it. When booting, as soon as the logo appeared, I pressed and held the volume up + home button, which caused it to not shut down (?). It then preceeded to boot for a long time while, I guess, the phone was factory reesetting itself. Now it boots just fine, factory reset =D . (SD card still not detected )
I have had Xposed installed for many months with no problem. Today my device randomly rebooted while in my pocket, it doesnt turn on properly, stuck on the HTC One screen. Pressing the power button makes the device vibrate, and then it turns on. Xposed is no longer active, I open xposed installer, download 6.1 and go to press install, as soon as I do this the device crashes. It restarts and Xposed isnt active still. I have tried reinstalling the apk, and updating via recovery manually, but no joy. Xposedbridge.jar says under active, 54, and app-process has no figure. I have TWRP, and when I slide right to flash Xposedinstaller zip, the device crashes again and restarts. my phone is running Android Revolution HD 52.0
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I just updated my phone from 6.0 to 6.1. I had it rooted before with SU and TWRP installed. After installing 6.0.1 it works great. I then installed the latest TWRP as well, and that worked fine. However once I install the latest SU binary and attempt to boot into the phone, I get nothing but a black screen.
I can boot back into the bootloader with the power button + volume down to flash system, and then the phone will boot again. But as soon as I put SU back on there, I see nothing but the black screen. Also, after updating to 6.0.1 I started getting the "This device can't be trusted" screen when turning on the phone. It still boots after that, but it wasn't happening before.
Any ideas besides wiping and starting from scratch?
Is that SuperSU 2.62? Just asking because you haven't said. I haven't bothered rooting my N6 this time, since my only real need was a firewall and Netguard does the job perfectly, but I understand from general reading that Marshmallow is choosy about the SuperSU version.
Hi, I bought xperia z1 c6903 today, didnt use any android for about 3-4 years (before android 4.4 even launched)
I tried to root it , used "kingoroot" with "o" in the middle, it rooted everything worked ok, terminal emulater worked, the problem I tried for about 2 hours to install supersu but I failed. I couldnt install xposed because it says access denied, read only or something (I gave it root access).
I tried to unroot it, the phone reboots and I still have root; woow.
I installed "kingroot" without "o" and tried the method using terminal to replace it with supersu, It always shows errors, I have supersu but it asks me either no su binary or to reroot, I tried many kingroot versions: 4.5 , 4.1, 4.6 none worked (from youtube/ xda xperia z1 forums).
I once installed kingroot, rebooted, and suprise surprise it became a system app, tried everything to unistall but failed, tried to run the script in terminal and every app I open crashes (the phone became 100% useless). fixed by installing 4.1, disabling it, factory reset, installing 4.5, (1000000% luck, I have no idea how it worked), the same problem happened again, was fixed bye supersume.
tried supersume , stay stuck at loading..
"Oh no , why dont you just flash it or something,?"
here is why : I bought it dirt cheap, it has a problem with power button , it keeps clicking by itself unless you apply gentle pressure on it (not clicking) I fixed it with root : remapped the camera button to act like power button and disable power button (I am broke a** student), the only problem whenever I turn it off the key keeps clicking so it turn itself on , lol (yeah it is not water damaged)
sooo, can you help me plz?
I have the dual sim Exynos version, model number SM-N950F/DS.
I followed this guide 100% as said:

Root is not properly working. Unsure why. I rooted using Magisk. When checking the app, it has ticked both latest and installed version V16.4. When checking safety net option, both are ticked.
Adaway even after rebooting says ''rooted Android required'' . Root explorer not working also. The only thing I got working and only after rebooting it worked was Titanium backup. After rebooting I was prompted to give root access which obviously I did and it works fine.
However, other apps requiring root access do not prompt me to grant it root access and immediately says ''no root'' .
Any suggestions? Thanks.
Ps. I keep getting this annoying notificaiton on the taskbar saying ''Security notice. Unauthorised actions have been detected. Restart.'' . How do I get rid of this notification? I restarted twice yet it keeps popping up.
And now for no apparent reason I am stuck on the Samsung logo, phone is not booting up. The top left blue LED is flashing but the phone is not booting. Please help.
^ I managed to fix my device, like always I was running an older version of TWRP!! Happens every time with every phone regardless!
From one of the threads, I downloaded the very latest recovery and flashed it via ODIN. Voila! Installed one of the Note 8 roms and perfect. Everything working fine.
Why is it if using a slightly older recovery nothing works? I am unable to even format/wipe, install roms, nothing...
