In lollipop I could unlink my notification and ringtone volume. I cannot seem to find it since I loaded marshmallow last night. Stock HTC M9 not rooted. Has anyone figured this out yet?

Hi,
Although this was not split by default, it used to be able to be enabled when flashing Jotha's enhanced quick settings.
I am now using ARHD 12 and quite like the current HTC quick settings, but I would still like to split the volume, assuming it is still possible on 4.2.2? Perhaps via an Xposed Mod?
Would be grateful for any suggestions.
Cheers

I am also really interested in this...just bought a HTC One after parting with my S3. Installed InsertCoin but would love to be able to split notification and ringer volumes.
Perhaps I will try and PM Jotha?
This thing broke my notification sound
I installed it and now i can't change the notification ton it just stays as default tried uninstalling it along with several other combinations of troubleshooting.
I thought I'd recently seen it stated somewhere that with 4.3 there would be a way to set different volume levels for ringtones and notifications. I've done the 4.3 upgrade from AT&T and I don't see any way to do this. Under Settings, Sound, Volumes, the ringtone & notifications are still together like they were on 4.1.2. Does anyone know if they're now able to be set separately, and if so how?
FYI, my One is non-rooted running stock 4.3.
Thanks.
See under settings, sound, volumes
Then untick use ringtone volume for notifications
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app

Thanks Paul, but unfortunately I don't see that option on my screen.
Hi
I flashed nordic 5.0.2 and currently rooted on locked bootloader(No recovery now ) Everything is running good. Only question is headsup notifications not working for me. Is there any way to enable it? Am i missing some thing? For calls i get notification on top but for messages and everything else i get notifications in kitkat style. Lockscreen notifications working well. Any help would be appreciated.
Never mind working now.. Mods please delete
I'm not getting heads up notifications either. Been using the D6603 .ftf for just over a week now.. Is there an option to turn it off/on?
Same problem here. What was the solution? Did you need to re-flash or factory reset?
How did you manage to solve it @sravanz ?
I have the same problem. I mean, the notification ticker is not bad, but I'd like to have a choice in the matter.
Any news how to enable heads up? It still dosen't work for me..

Multiple custom roms have this option
Do a search on the play store for SoundHUD. I tried it on my Nexus 6 and it works ok. Provides functionality similar to what I had on my nexus 5 using xposed.
New to this forum so I hope I'm in the right place to ask this stupid question! I have always had a Samsung but recently upgraded to the Nexus 6 so I'm pretty used to android operating system. But, for some reason I cannot find how to adjust the volume for phone ring and notifications separately! Is this the norm for Nexus 6 and if so what can I do about it? Thanks for your help in advance!!!!
Yes that is standard for nexus. That's why there isn't a separate notification slider in settings. .
One way around it is root, install Xposed, and install gravity box. That gives lots of customization options, including splitting notification and ringer volumes apart, like Samsung.
