S5 mini G800H touch lag - Galaxy S5 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a problem with an S5 mini, great phone but it really lags most times. sometimes it would work flawlessly but then the screen seems to dim a little and change the color tone then it would become completely unresponsive. I've tried flashing a new rom but that didn't help. Any help would be nice. thanks.

Unresponsive Touchscreen

first, this thread is not the same with the one titled multitouch lag/issues. i think mine is different. Just recently my galaxy ace touchscreen became unresponsive, i mean the touchscreen doesnt work and i have to repeatedly press an item inorder to select it. the phone boots up pretty fast and when the touch screen works sometimes the transition effect is fluid thats why i think its not related with the processors speed. i have tried reflashing another custom rom and flashing through odin but its still unresponsive. and im pretty sure that i havent dropped my phone in the past few days. what could be the reason behind its unresponsiveness? and anyone knows how to solve this thing?

Did you put screen protectors on your ace especially the ‘’fingerprint-less screen protector''? that can decrease the sensitivity of the touchscreen or you can try applying patches to improve the sensitivity of the touchscreen. Most probably the touchscreen is somehow damaged. But remember, our phone's touchscreen isn't good enough as the armv7 devices. hope it helps!

Random Display Blackout

A couple of months ago I got a Samsung Galaxy S3 (SHV-E210K, the Korean one) and after that I have been facing some problems. While using the phone, randomly the screen blacks out but one can still hear the noise from the song if it is being played at that time..... The physical buttons work in that condition everytime...... To bring the screen up I first have to lock the device and then unlock it again.......and its driving me crazy......any ideas how to fix it......
Srsly..????!! No replies.....
Hey is everyone busy with the newer models and nobody gives a damn about the old awesome phones....

teclast x98 air iii touchscreen sensitivity

I have just received my teclast x98 iii android 5 tablet and am finding the sensitivity of the touch screen a bit laggy, I tried subway surfers game and it was nearly unplayable, also browser scrolling was a bit jumpy and sometimes when switching home screens it will open an app . just feels like the screen touch is lagging behind and the touches have to be a bit more deliberate to get it to react. Anyone had this problem is there a fix or tweak for screen sensitivity or should I send it back for replacement. Thanks in advance
My X98 Air 3G also have this issue but after using several time it improve abit , sometime it will hang. So i was thinking flashing a custom rom ,
not sure it will help .Or this is the touch issue across the board for Teclast product.
Let me know if flashing new rom will solve the issue. I am quite new also so don't dare to flash.
Thanks

May be people raving about this tablet haven't used good tabs
I had the laggy, jumpy browser at first as well. Now with the guvno ROM on m5c5 and the 2.05 bios update the tablet is pretty snappy. No more touchscreen lag

How's the scrolling when u keep your finger on the screen? My scrolling is smooth when I release my finger from then screen, but little laggy when I keep my finger on the screen while scrolling.. So I'm just wondering if newer bios can fix this.
Seems fine to me. Its definitely a whole lot laggier than my iPhone but I don't find it too bad for what it is (600$ cheaper)

The 'pauses' with Lenovo K3 Note

Had this phone a few months.. Quite a lot to like, nice size, screen, etc.. The camera isnt the hottest, had some focusing issues but nothing I cant live with for now.
But the pauses are really too much to bear, its the first time I have had a non Nexus phone since the N1 and kind of regretting it.
Currently using the ROW Rom with google now launcher.. Was using Apex launcher but that seemed even worse. Do any of the other ROMs (I see a 'stock like' nexus ROM out there) work smoother ??
Any tips or ticks.. Sometimes when waking the phone up theres a huge lag, so much so it becomes unuseable for a bunch of seconds as it starts app switching or adjusting app focus.
The specs say it should be able to keep up, it feels like a implementation or memory design flaw..
So no ones got any ideas...
Do others have the same multi second hangs and pauses ??

Touch issues / Sensitivity issues after Nougat update

Okay so I wanted feedback regarding this whether someone else is experiencing this or not.
I have gradually observed during the last few days that a lot of my touches to click have gone unresponsive in Nougat. Initially it was something that I hadnt quite noticed but slowly the trend became obvious. Now dont get me wrong, this would happen a few times here and there with lollipop and MM as well, but the rate is far higher now on Nougat. Especially when typing on the keyboard this means mis-spelled words, missed letters, and accuracy is far worse now.
Has anyone else observed this or is it just me?
Just got my xcover 4 with nougat installed i have the same issue.
The sensitivity is low and i need to press a bit higher finger force to respond.
Even with sensitivity (glove mode) set to on things get worse.
I'm seeing the same thing. What is strange is that I'll see the button highlight/depress, but no action occurs. This is on multiple apps.
On what device/OS?
Sprint Note 5 on Nougat
Did you try gloves mode? Does it work?
the same for me on 920cd and the same iusse using S pen
I contacted samsung Greece about the existing problem.
I reported the problems me and you guys have and the tech support told me that your problems exist because you did not factory reset the devices before upgrading to nougat.
Anyone tried to contact samsung about the problem?
They dont know anything about it.
facing same issue screen lagging in note 5 sm-n920s also tried custom rom but still lagging in typing and scrolling on facebook
I have the same problem on my xcover 4 here!!
When I run the the touch screen test, touch screen responds well, but when I want to write a message or to scroll the home screen Its very annoying. It looks like software problem.
please help
Hi guys.
I have 2nd piece of Xcover 4 SM-G390F (first was change by seller for new one) and had the same problem. First 2-3 days all work perfect.. I have installed my applications, work perfect for two days, but after this... --After wake, display react only in centre area, 1 centimeter from display border no reaction or react on xxx touch. After few seconds (20-30) display react on full range, but with lags... So... I go for support to Samsung official at CZE.
Support tells me, that they don't know about this problem, that I'm 1st who has this problem... And some other bull... about unofficial sell and any other. So I post them IMEI and they let me know, if my distribution is official or not, and we'll see what next. They recomend me to go to service center, where somebody looks on my SM. So I see tomorrow.
ROM - official Android 7 Nougat from start using (not updated from other version)
Deleting apps - no effect
Safe mode - no effect
Factory reset - no effect
Apps to calibrate screen - no effect
