Maybe it is just me, but there is no screenshot on your post.
You need an advanced program like "wakelock detector" or "betterbatterystats" but all deep battery stats apps are using root, I think. Android system drains are mostly combined background wakelocks and you must be able to determine them first.
This is a bit of a shot in the dark but I recently had a severe battery drain issue with my N6 which turned out was caused by the new version of the Google app. It just showed up as increased Android system drain under battery usage.
I'm getting a higher than normal drain too, but cant track down exactly what the cause is in BBS or wakelock detector.
Its either Android OS or Android System is saying the keep awake is a few hours a day.
That's what threw me too is the Google app drain is lumped under Android System. Finally found it by reverting back to older versions of the apps I recently updated.

Hello! Yesterday i downloaded Gsam APP to see my battery life and how long it lasts. My results were really bad. The consumption was around 7-8% hour, and I use the phone way more than yesterday..
Those are the screenshots of gsam:

Is there any solution? I really need this battery to last way more than this.
My moto x is not rooted, should I root it? My version is 4.4.3.
Cheers
First, I noticed the moto x drains real good when on calls, more than my N5. So you need to keep in mind according to gsam, 25 percent of your battery drain was the phone calls. That's huge!
Also, you have almost 3 hours of held awake time....and I'm pretty sure if you click the drop down in gsam app screen, you can't check the held awake time or times waking device, cause you're not rooted.
And, you have Bluetooth on the entire time, and location services and Google now I'm betting? Those will take a chuck of battery life also.
Lastly, 22 percent of your drain was screen. Auto brightness? Were you in bright areas a lot? When the screen is bright, it will drain fast too.
So, all that said....I'd say your battery times are about right. Getting better times will take some tweaking and sacrifice of conveniences.....and getting used to toggling features on and off....instead of always on.
Check out post number 2 in this thread....its our battery life help thread now in the N5 section. But pretty much all the info in post number 2 applies to about any device.

Of course, you're going to be limited by not being rooted....so some things you can't do....but most you can. Or at least you can read up about it.
Good luck!
I noticed recently that my idle time battery has been suffering a bit. After charging to 100%, the battery dropped to 67% after leaving it idle overnight.
Here are some captures from BetterBatteryStats. Seems like it is awake 1/3 of the time. Is this normal or do I have some wakelocks eating the battery?

That it's because you left your wifi turned on, also you can see your battery controller i don't remember wich app it is but that thing is eating your battery and causing wakelocks all the time. Try disable those before you get to sleep.
Okay, the OS battery stats say that Android OS is eating the majority of the battery.
Should I just disable background sync when I leave it on overnight? If I turn off Wi-Fi, it enables LTE which would consume a lot more battery.
You should probably consider using the -existing- battery life thread, rather than having created a new thread. The people in that thread are more likely to help you and have useful suggestions for you.

GPS eats the battery up on this phone a lot because of the Google services. Go into setting,, then location and change mode to device only. You will see a huge difference in battery drain.

Hello All,
I am new to xda forum, this is my first thread. I am having a serious battery draining problem with my new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Duos (SM-N9208) running Android 6.0.1. My phone's Android OS is draining a lot of power during idle hours. After a full charge I put my phone into sleep mode closing every apps that can run in background as well as turning of WiFi, Bluetooth, Data Connection, NFC etc. But after around 4 hours when I turn the phone on my battery level dropped to 65% from 100%. From the battery usage screen I found that during this 4 hours Android OS has consumed 62% of the battery. I am totally surprised to see this. I have no game installed on my phone as well as I use a few basic apps like Facebook, Messenger etc. I have no idea what's going on with my phones battery in sleep mode. I have attached some screenshots from the battery usage screen which might help you to understand the issue. I am badly looking for a permanent solution to this problem since I can't go anywhere without a power bank with the phone to keep it running. Please help me out of this problem. Any kind of suggestions, tips or tricks are welcomed.
have you rooted your phone or is there a chance that it was already rooted by the seller? seems like a deep sleep problem to me.

All the standard gapps and the system apps, nothing more. Now i'm doing the battery test through AnTuTu tester and i'll post the final result here. However the screen overheats just a bit and '' Multimedia Systems ' are always under the Android System in '' Battery Stats ''' . I don't know what to do and what could be the problem. I updated also to the Nougat 7.1 update official of OxygenOS.
I lost 4% on 9hrs of standby overnight. Is is bad or normal?
OnePlus 3T
128 Gunmetal
Rogers Network
Im on MM and loosing significant power while I listen to music. On standby its good.
Just installed greenify, wakelock detector lets see what I can find. I might just roll back to 3.5.3 I heard that build is better with battery life
Yes same here. But update to oxygen 4.0 has changed things. Also using this app called DU battery saver. Give a try.
I see on telegram there is lots of discussion on battery drain happening overnight and it appearing as "other" on battery stats.
Does anyone have any fix or know what causes this thanks
Overnight Battery fall is 20 to 22% without use.
i own my sweet now for 3 weeks and with 4g and wlan activated my battery drains about 2 to 3 %
that´s with global rom and same with xiaomi.eu
50% overnight. Messages draining 92% of it.

I've had similar problem. After a reboot, it disappeared.
I think it has to do with MIUI optimization. I had disabled it on first day I got the phone (for/due to YouTube vanced) and never faced overnight drains except for normal cell standby (2-3%).
I turned on the optimization settings (as it wasn't allowing me to upload anything) and I faced overnight Drain of over 20%!!!.
Disabled the settings again and it is working fine now.
That MIUI optimization is killing our phones! Don't know the **** it's doing in background! It's everything except "optimization"!

Can't confirm that. For me there was no difference at all...
this problem remains with me. I can't solve it. is using between 10 to 15% of battery
Hi guys I'm having a 10 pro max (Indian) I'm on the latest version of miui 12.5 and I'm happy to report that battery drain during standby is barely 2 percent last night it was just 1 percent in sharing the screenshot too
Inorder to use YouTube Vanced without sacrificing the miui optimiser just Google it on some YouTube channel I found a microG version with doesn't require you to disable the miui optimiser
