While Android repair shops start to become more and more popular, I still have never found a reason to visit one. I'd imagine that's the case for most users here at XDA. Android repairs can sometimes be very tricky but I am skeptical that these repair services can do a significantly better job than if you were to do it yourself.
Along with repair shops there are also online services that allow you to mail your phone in for repair.
Have you ever checked your phone in for repair? What was your experience and how much did you pay?

Software has never been used, and are brand new in box. The handmark express is a ONE YEAR subscription. You all know how much this software costs, so make me a sensible offer, and it's yours. I'm selling these in the UK, unless you want to pay postage to the US.

My accelerometer stopped working. So I send it to the repair center. They told me my phone was total loss. I didn't believe them so they send me this picture of my phone.
My phone is never dropped in the water or something and I wanna know what you guys think of the damage.

Hi All,
I have a Z1 which needs to be repaired. As can be seen below the back glass shattered, after the phone was dropped (for about the 40th time...tough phone!), and the USB Charger port cover fell off (some time ago).
I live in Australia and am looking for advice on a reputable repair centre which doesn't charge the Earth!
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Davo

I dropped my mi5. When I call I can hear the other side voice, but my voice cannot be heard to other side. Using Bluetooth or other wired earphone it is ok.
I have taken my mi5 to service centre, they told that it will be sent outside for repair, it will take about a month for repair.
Can anyone suggest me for purchase of the spare part online, I am from India.
Please help.
