"MoKee OpenSource is the biggest non-profit Android Open Source development team in China, with members from all parts of the world. We follow the latest development from Google closely and improve various parts of Android according to the users’ habits. Being a non-profit organisation, we utilise our spare time and own funds to keep this passion alive. Therefore, the costs for the forum and servers are solely beared by us. In order to provide a good user experience, we only included a few preinstalls in the ROM. Along with the advertisements in the forum; we hardly get enough to pay for the bandwidth. The point is, those are our only source of income, however many developers choose to exclude them when releasing unofficial builds. Unlike CyanogenMod, we did not accept monetary help at the early stages, as in China, most people do not understand the meaning of “making a donation”. They would think of it as buying a service, which is conflicting with our objectives.
Anyways, we still made it until today, and even started to provide third party developers a chance to utilise our OTA system. All of these are the fruit of our hard work and passion. We are proud of the happy users, and we are also proud of the support given to MoKee OpenSource. Most importantly, we are proud of the improvements we have achieved all these while, and the advancements never stop."

23/2 is the lastest build and very good for daily use.
Bule does not release the updates weekly because his roms are very stable and bug free. But he is very reponsive to bug reports from users. If there is a bug reported he will release the update to fix it immediately. :fingers-crossed:

About performance mode is it working well?
Switch setting from Battery options then performance mode.
Because i'm gaming user :fingers-crossed:
What about camera? Its supports PDAF focus? There are some 60/120FPS modes? Or I need to put media_profiles like on other ROMs? There is one AOSP with 720p 120FPS camera, but the newests builds are not good .. And Im thinking to switch on this CM from Bule

There is an option to auto switch between power save, balanced and performance mode, so while im using power save mode antutu benchmark gives a huge 56.000 points. Edit: without any tweak

I dont think it supports pdaf, and there is no option for 60/120fps in camera app.

So only MIUI has it? Bad.. This PDAF is great.
Camera in CM is still simple, I think developers are working on that. But picture quality of this Rom is even better than MIUI. It worths a try.

Of course. You know, the MIUI has Slowmotion HD, but its not HD.. Its just 480p upscaled to 720p. I recorder TRUE 120FPS 720p SlowMotion and there is huge difference.. And will try this ROM, bacause on AOSP i got some drain by kernel .. Ehh so hard to point the best system.
And I got question. There is Miravision/Clearmotion? If not, can I enable it? Could you ask devs?
Any1 facing problem with downloading games from Play Store? its keep repeating download after finish and then error code 963.
Also Titanium Backup have problem too, cant backup its said insullfient insufficient memory.
Same bug with jenkins build.
Solved
EDIT: after doing small research with logcat finally.
This is because the 'Mount namespace separation' setting in SuperSU being turned on (by default). Untick that, reboot then try your Titanium Backup operation again.

Part 2: http://www.mediafire.com/?rydssqg34jjd4ey
The idea is to do a ROM as stable as possible, with all the functionality of the phone, quickly and with better battery consumption.
Considerations:
This ROM is in ext3 and it may be necessary to install the kernel for your tegrapart after the rom
When language support was added in the menu option appears 4G that is "not functional" when I will find out how to remove it I'll do it.
When using the Gallery option in the menu mirroring the application crash. Use the gallery from the menu on the phone itself.
If you have problems to start wifi install the kernel of your tegrapart
Thank Pinguy Again!!

Awesome work gustrick. Thanks for keeping this ROM going. As people have noticed this ROM is the best for battery life. For that reason alone Devs should keep this alive.
If anyone want an all in one with the latest webtop, here is the download.

If people want some of the tweaks I used for the ROM this is based on, for other Atrix ROMs, here is an zip containing many of the tweaks that I have added that should work with all roms including CyanogenMod ROMs:

Just one thing gustrick. Could you change the Toggles in notification bar so they have a bar under them that lights up when on and dark when off. At the moment the colour change isn't that noticeable. The blue-tooth icon for on or off is almost the same colour.

NO.
I can see why aroma is awesome for CyanogenMod so you can add the gapp that can't be pre-installed. But this is a tweaked stock firmware.
Anyway I didn't make this. This is just my views about aroma. I am old school and don't find it hard to remove root apps I don't want. Thats why I don't really get aroma. I would much prefer the dev to set up the ROM to how they think is best then give me a huge amount of options on what I should install and what I shouldn't.
If the Dev doesn't think its a good idea installing it then why have it as an option? Why not have it as the default install.
The only thing I can see aroma being good for is default launchers. But it really isn't hard to install the launcher you want and remove the default one. Now I think about it, I could just make up CWM zip that just replaces the default launcher making the amount you have to download smaller. If someone adds every available launcher for install for aroma. Its just adding to the size of the download for things people don't want.
Give me the download for the ROM then CWM zips for other launcher's. I know we are all on broadband now but still.
*rant over*

Read the first post. This is based on this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1694390
And I gave gustrick permission to use it. If you look at the linked post, I gave everyone permission to use it, but gustrick personally PM me asking if he could use it to work from. I am an open source dev. I want people to use my work. I don't really care if I get credited. Be nice if I did but I rather see my work/code shared in many projects, but gustrick went out of his way, even though I said anyone could use it, to get permission from me.
GingerMod is a AT&T based rom (like every other ROM on here). The firmware I used was from the 4.5.2A-51_OLL-17.8.
I personally installed the SBF. With a chance of bricking my EU phone flashing it, then rooted it and unlocked it. Then used CWM to make a backup so I could DeOdexed and zipalign it.
From there I had a fresh ROM I could work from. The ROM this is based on is not copied from anyone else. A lot of the tweaks where done by other people but they all got the credit they deserve.
We are all here to make the best rom for the Atrix as possible. I don't think people are here to tread on toes.
Sorry but whats different beetwen this rom and Pinguys rom

Mega Link of X-Rom V2
This is awesome! Just saw it and currently downloading it. Will give you full feedback after a few rounds of using it. Hats off to you man!
Report: So I lost a few hours of sleeping but it's really worth it! The ROM is near to perfect (because I believe there's no such thing as perfect in the world ). It's confirmed that the ROM is working. The choice of theme is limited, there are only two themes available and same goes to the sounds but it's suits me well because I'm a simplistic person. I can see the Magic Tag apps but I can't find the button to turn on the NFC in (Setting>All>More...)so is this an error on my ends in terms of flashing the ROM? Installing Exposed Framework will blow up the theme, that's acceptable since I really need Exposed Framework to use Greenify Experimental Features. I don't have the Performance Mode Button and Screen Saving Mode Button shown anywhere in the Setting. From the SC that you have provided, I can confirmed that Glove Mode isn't exist in this ROM but in my country, we don't need gloves, it's freaking hot here . So far while I'm running this ROM, no significant lags or force close happen, it really smooth and light. The RAM usage is as low as 7++mb. That's all for now. Will be back if I find something new. Thanks man!

EDIT: Settings Force Close when tapping the One-Hand UI, but it's OK to tap on it's switch

Hey, to start of it's a great rom! I love the idea of keeping it as small as possible. But I actually have an idea, tell me if anyone likes it. So the idea is to intergrate 'multi-window' in it, or am I the only one who wants to use this 5'' screen to it's full purpose. Still thnx for the rom! i'll be checking this thread multiple times a week

Hey buddy, maybe you can contact @andromodgod and work together with him! P7 is actually still lagging behind among the other 5" device android development because of lack of developers, resources and tools (i'm not a DEV, mostly tester and feedback giver). EDIT: It's nice to see the DSP Manager, and the Holo Light Reboot Back after the update! But still, there's no changes in the Settings are such as missing NFC button, Performance Mode Button and Screen Saver Mode. I'm start to think that I might flash the ROM wrongly so I'm going to re-flash the ROM and update, and let's see what will happen after that. Thanks anyway!

Congratulations so far !!!!
Congratulations to the developer for this wonderful job in the designing this fast, stable and well presented X2 Rom, in my device is running like a Ferrari without lags or windows showing things like "defect report reminders" or "The application (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly". I hope you continue working with this project because I am pretty sure this Rom will be one of the best custom Roms around here !!!! Before installing I recommend performing a full wipe before and after installation with TWRP Recovery. Undoubtedly I think to use this Rom in my daily life.

As the Developer said, do not install this Rom since it has some bugs, so be patient, he will post a stable Rom later. I recommend you using version 1 of XROM, it provides you with google apps and it is more stable, I do not recommend you using version 2.

halogenOS Checklist
Although no data should be lost or damaged by the flashing process,
we advise you to follow the following steps if you are coming from another rom:
Please take a full nandroid backup!
Please copy your back up to an external device.
Backing up your Internal Storage is also recommended.
When completed, please clean flash the build!
Although you usually can dirty flash halogenOS over other ROMs, considering the other
ROM has the same Android version, it is not guaranteed. In case of serious
crashes please do a clean flash.
This is a ROM that is currently in an beta state.
XOS is a new generation cutting-edge OS for Android based on Code Aurora Forum releases.
What is XOS?
halogenOS, also known as XOS is a new Android ROM which ships with the global aim to
become a modular ROM which keeps as high as potentially possible operating
performance on your mobile device while still maintaining a sufficient feature
base of nice, small and minimal features that would not be available via any
external feature base, extension, mod or plugin.
We hope you have a truly halogenified experience!
Internals of XOS
At core, the ROM is composed mainly of components from CodeAuroraForums (CAF),
featuring only extremely minor set of components from CyanogenMod (CM) which
have been added to source in order to allow for better cross-device compatibility.
Our LOVE to others
A huge thanks goes to those behind the CodeAuroraForums (CAF), the CyanogenMod
organization and all of its
contributors for the sources used in the development of the base ROM which we
started with inclusive of all the work and dedication their team puts in order to
keep us updated on the awesome contributions that they make.
We will be keen on ensuring that we be up to date with the code from our base sources,
with regular ROM updates hopefully coming from time to time.
Please do not ask for ETA's (else you shall be spooked by Mr Skeltal). Almost all of us are
students, and with the current lifestyles and routines we have, it is not that easy to acquire
time to develop the ROM, though we'll be sure to keep you updated and release OTAs as
soon as they are available and ready for publication. If you want to be really updated quick,
then join us on Telegram: http://telegram.me/halogenos
Visit our website for features such as: Downloads, Information etc.

(Not finished yet)
Common stuff
Known issues:
No backlight for hardware keys
Please use Footej camera for video recording (4K supported) or Google Camera (1080p).
Navbar section in SystemUI Tuner crashes
Known issues are going to be fixed as soon as possible. We don't have infinite time.
Planned features (don't ask for these!):
Lockscreen Visualizer (This time we are going to make it ourselves. Since on CM-based ROMs the lockscreen visualizer causes the infamous QuickSettings Bug, we are making a new implementation)
Navigation bar & Hardware Keys toggles
Heads-Up toggle
Hardware buttons backlight
And more stuff I don't remember now
Highlights :
Substratum
Full media support (FFMPEG, video codecs, ...)
Great Audio quality, no distortions, no crap
Optimized many portions of the system including surfaceflinger, inputflinger, System Server, and more
Super fast boot
Superuser-capable
Great battery life
Soundmod support (not all soundmods work on Nougat, it's not our fault)
addon.d support (backups your gapps etc. when flashing new build - don't wipe system before flashing!)
init.d support
BusyBox
Disabled Access Time for all partitions (We don't need access time. When access time is enabled, it will store the exact date of the access when a file is accessed, what just wastes write cycles (in theory) and has impact in I/O performance.)
Super smooth
Signature Spoofing toggle (Support for MicroG)
Support for trusted third-party WebViews like Chrome
Long press on home for assist toggle
Security Patches in kernel
OpenGapps (Mini/Micro/Nano recommended) and Banks GApps support
Full KeyHandler & KeyDisabler support
Dexpreopt for faster (first) boot time and less space consumption on data partition
Upgrade & Boot the ROM in just 5 minutes - no more endless waiting for flashing a new build
Very high compatibility with other ROMs
Warning: You should not use SuperSU by Chainfire, as that breaks sensors on Nougat ROMs for Redmi Note 3 .
Instead, please flash this zip and install the phh's superuser app from Play Store: Phh's Superuser
How to update the ROM:
Download the latest zip
Reboot into TWRP (Please use official TWRP)
Do not wipe anything
Flash the ROM
Reboot
You don't need to wipe Cache/Dalvik.
You don't need to flash gapps again. There is some magic going on which keeps your GApps. Just make sure that you don't wipe system before flashing.
You don't need more than 5 minutes.
Supported Kernels
Stock kernel. (Great battery - Performance ratio) (recommended)
You can actually flash any custom kernel on this rom.
CM kernels are usually supported, especially those that are delivered as an
AnyKernel package.

OK, its pretty simple so I'm not gonna fill up the page with useless junk,
this source is pure caf and some code is modified with some optimization/device/substratum commits.
The Aim is to keep it as close to AOSP as possible,
if you want any features added go to the plenty of other ROMs available.
This is for folks like me who want a clean rom as close to pure aosp as possible.
What's CodeAurora Forums ?Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. Software projects it concerns itself with are e.g. Android for MSM, Femto Linux Project, LLVM, MSM WLAN and Linux-MSM. Code Aurora is basically AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.

I just see forks of forks & some cherry picking that is rather bad documented (which doesn't mean it's bad, just impossible tracking) at the end the same Strix & Lineage base.
Edit: hmmm some of cherry picks do look interesting enough for tracking but that will be very hard thing to do.

Sure.
in my SOT might not be the best judge for battery life as I don't keep my phone in use throughout the day.
I use it intermittently. So, a flat battery graph when not in use is of particular importance.
It will obviously translate to better SOT but that will be more organic and original.
Not like other SOT champions who keep doing stuff till the last drop of battery to report 15 hours of SOT.
I see a tendency towards flat lining when resting with your script.
I just wish you add more stuff to it as you mentioned.
You might also discuss with jerry to add to make his flashable zola script complete.

pretty smooth so far, but phone was restart and into looping stage afterward, I can get into TWRP and wipe out and reinstall this ROM and it happened again. So I did wipe out and restore my original ROM and phone was restart again and into lopping stage. I have tried many times, same issue even I can get into TWRP, deleted everything.
I don't know how to sort out the issue, please guide me for the way to fix it up, many thanks.

We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Join our Discord server! There, you can connect with other Carbon users and our developers, and you can get quicker responses to your bug reports. The invite link is right below.
We recommend MindTheGApps. OpenGApps should work, but please make sure you clearly mention the gapps you're using when reporting bugs.
Notice:
For this ROM to work you need to use the latest ODM Images. If you need additional guidance on how to do that, please refer to Sonys Guide on how to flash an ODM Image.

No one tried this rom yet? I have a problem over here. It keeps asking for password after the CarbonROM logo even though I wipe everything clear, any ideas? What I was doing was flash 41.3.A.2.99 with everything wiped, flash ODM, flash TWRP, flash the rom and then Pico OpenGapps. Something wrong with my procedure? Thanks in advance.
EDIT1 : Oh yeah, forgot to mention my device is F8332, it isn't supported?

Use the "format data" option in TWRP to get rid of encryption, wipe doesn't clear encryption. If coming from stock, thats necessary unfortunately due to differences in the encryption used. Otherwise (if coming from AOSP) the password its asking for would be the one you used before.
Dual sim support?

Volte Supported??
First of all, thanks alot @Myself5 and all other devs, who are working hard to bring this to our XZ :good:
My experiences after 1 day:
- rom is very smooth and snappy.
- root via Magisk v16 & Xposed 90.1-beta3 (systemless) works flawlessly
- the fp sensor always works, but it's not as sensitive as with stock
- night light worked - until I've installed Substratum and a Substratum theme, but after that it doesn't work anymore (even after deactivating, uninstalling the theme, a system restart and deinstalling the Substratum app it sill doesn't work). Also a dirty flash of the rom.zip didn't help to get it working again.
- the build-in camera takes acceptable pics (not as well as the stock camera, but acceptable); also focussing is a little slower than stock. Another thing is, it's not possible to chance the location to save the pics to the ext. sdcard.
- formatted as a portable storage, the ext. sdcard item on the left of the status bar can't be removed (see attachement)
- the battery consumption is a bit high (from 100 % to 98 % in 1 h - without doing anything)
But in the whole, it's really promising for th 1st official build :good::good::good:

Hello, is the battery life when used good ? As good as stock ?
And does it have that bug when if you record video the result will be green ?
Can you upload screen recording of rom from home to settings and other functions.
I plan on flashing this soon, but I figured I'd tell you, your link to the Carbon FAQ is broken.

The battery consumption while in use is ok. But my device doesn't go into deepsleep while the screen is off. So I had lost about 23 % in 10 hrs - leaving the device untouched!
Video recording works; I haven't noticed that bug.

Sorry, I went back to stock for now, as there's a new stock fw (41.3.A.2.107).
I have a few bugs to report. First, the fingerprint sensor is extremely slow, about half or even one third of the speed compared to stock. Second, could you guys please fix the deepsleep? That one is not working for now. And third, Night Light does not work at all...
Thank you for updating the XZ to Android 8.1 I am glad to see carbon rom on this device although it is not that stable for now.
Really nice ROM and I'm looking forward to make this my daily driver, I tried it for two days and these are the bugs I found:
1: GPU performance is really bad with 2d games and google maps lagging all the time when they never do on stock
2: CPU performance is inferior compared to stock, especially single threaded
3: enabling 120 hz display won't do anything and the settings or UI will crash when leaving the page
4: fingerprint seems to be sometimes less responsive, usable but can be improved
Camera is not so bad and the modded google camera works well, hopefully this will become the first proper AOSP based platform for this device that has only seen failures until now, keep up the good work.
Can I dirty flash this rom for just update?
I use Carbon Rom 3/31 version, but I can't use delta update because my device cannot receive the stock script.
I must change the rom script with Notepad+.
So...can I use dirty flash or....could you manage it?
Thanks for continously updating this rom and thank you for fixing the bug with the fingerprint sensor.
I'm not sure if deepsleep has been fixed but there is a big problem with playing music. I can't even play any music track at all...
Hello, looking forward to make this my daily driver, is it possible ?
What I would want is decent battery life and camera.
Hello. I tried to listen to music after installing the ROM, but the earphones are disconnected as soon as they are connected to the smartphone.
The earbuds pfe 132 and are made up of earphones with an iphone microphone.

Clean flashed the 10th build along with Rytekk's dual-SIM patch, Pico Open GApps and Magisk 16.3 to my F8332 and other than that annoying SD notification (which can be banished to the notification drawer by making System UI notifications low priority) and Night Light not working, the only other major issue raised ITT of the CPUs not entering Deep Sleep is fixed according to Adiutor.
Great stuff. I haven't been able to standardise on one ROM since the CM days (interesting side note, it looks like you built the kernel for the NOCT build on my Z2 tablet).
I recommend this to anyone for daily use. Also, lower your expectations to realistic levels guise. I remember when XDA threads were for flagging major broken functionality, not complaining that a few amateur enthusiasts weren't putting out work that competed on every indicator against the finished product of a multibillion-dollar for-profit international conglomerate.

Add these lines in build.prop, and reboot.
Code:
persist.multisim.config=dsds
persist.radio.multisim.config=dsds
ro.telephony.default_network=9,0
