I'm thinking about replacing my trusty Galaxy S4 with a new S6 or S6 Edge. The Edge has the "cool" factor, but I really like my Otterbox Defender case, with a belt clip. Otterbox's web site doesn't sound very optimistic about the chances of developing one for the Edge.
I've been looking around, and the only one I saw on Amazon didn't have very good reviews. I asked AT&T, and there aren't any in their system.
So, has anyone found a rugged-style case for the S6 Edge that includes a belt clip?

Trying to buy a wallet or a card holder case for my work phone so I can also have my work access card embedded into the case.
Kavaj has listed their s6 edge wallet case on their website but the image is of the S5... does anyone have real pics yet?
If you can recommend any other card holder case for s6e I would be grateful!

Thanks but not interested in flip wallet covers. They are too bulky

When wallet cases come to mind, I think of the Damda Slide by Verus. The rest are mostly flip covers, which are pretty nice, too, though I don't personally like flip unless I'm around more posh people.
Spigen sells two general types of wallet cases to my knowledge, but they don't seem to sell ones for the S6 Edge. Either way, one has cards coming upwards from the middle of the case, which I think isn't very well-designed in terms of real-use scenarios, while the other has your cards exposed. Your options are pretty limited when it comes to card-carrying cases, though the Damda is honestly nice so long as your phone matches the colour of the case well (a few of my friends have one).
I second that regarding the damda slide case. I have the red one on my white s6 edge. Looks great,feels great and functions great! I have my DL, debit card and Disney pass in it.
Too bulky for me. And I really want something which feels as premium as my iphone 6 official leather case...shame Samsung are not creating a premium case
KAVAJ finally reveals S6 edge case
Kavaj finally reveals the design for S6 edge.
They have kept the edges from their first photo. I've pre ordered mine so will give a review once I receive it next week.

I have this already...but as stated in my OT. Not looking for flip covers. Especially with the edge version. It hides the design.

Great case. Shows off the Edge design and provides basic protection. Also makes it easier to hold the Edge safely.

Recently, My girl friend send me a Samsung Galaxy S6 as a birthday gift.
I need a good case to protect it, any recommended?
Which kind of case do you like? I have bought some cases from ebay for my gs6, I like tpu case and bumper case, it looks very simple, and it won't affect my phone's appearance.
I've found cases with metal bands around the outside attenuated the cell signal by a lot (10+ dB). So I suggest staying away from them.
I have one metal bumper from y s6 from ebay. It fit my s6 perfectly and offering enough protection. The other point is that it won't cover the signal.
I just notice that the price increase some. But I do think that it worth it. Here is the Item ID 121649023539. You can search it on ebay for more detailed information.

That's the same one I have, and I have a different one with a TPU case between the band and the phone. Both cause about 10dB reduction. I watched it go down from the LTE debug screen (in Dialer *#0011#)
I've got the S6 edge myself. Decided to go with a Pelican case for the durability.
So far I have not a single complaint! I work in the field of construction, so it's constantly being used with dirty hands and the possibility of being dropped of course. & So far so good!

Should I get the UAG Monarch. Ghostek Nautical, or the ARMOR-X case? I can't decide but I want the best protection I can get, if there is any alternatives I would love to know what they are!

Decided to go with the Ghostek Nautical. It's a nice case with excellent protection, including an integrated screen saver. The two downsides are that the S-Pen is very difficult to remove and headphone use requires an extender, which dose not come with the case. It reminds me of the Otterbox Galaxy S7 Edge case that had an integrated screen protector.
I've seen at least three other cases with integrated screen savers (all available through Amazon) but have no experience with these:
1) Love Mei Water Resistant Shockproof Aluminum Metal Super Anti Shake Silicone Fully Body Protection for Samsung Galaxy Note 8
2) Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Case, SUPCASE Full-body Rugged Holster Case with Built-in Screen Protector for Galaxy Note 8
3) i-Blason Galaxy Note 8 Case, Shock Reduction / Full body Bumper Case with Built-in Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy Note 8
I have the UAG Monarch on order. I've been using their cases with every single phone that had one available for as long as I can remember. I always had their standard cases (now called Pathfinder) but they apparently aren't making those for the Note 8 and I hate the transparent cases. So this is my first Monarch, I'm sure I'll love it just the same.
I have the Ghostek Nautical. It's not to great to be honest.
The photos when using flash are blurry and have the halo light effect.
You cannot get the S-Pen out unless you have small fingers or use another object to try to remove it.
It's kind of depressing because this case was awesome for my galaxy s8. Only reason why I decided to use it for my note 8.
I got a Nautical, and honestly its not worth anything near the amount sold for.
The one i got the power button did not work unless you hit it with a hammer. The fingerprint cut out was not aligned with the phone. The plastic feels cheap. and due to a reflection from the case, its impossible to take a photo with flash with the cover on.
Highly disappointed.

I'd say go with the OtterBox Defender, tried and true. If you are paying $60 for a case might as well go with the Defender.
I understand wanting to protect the phone, but looking at these cases they are unbelievably bulky. Sturdy yes but wow, the added bulk. What are you guys doing with your phones that you need such a massive case? I'm genuinely curious as my last case was a Bear Motion for the Pixel and it didn't even cover the top and bottom. And even now I'm only using the Rinke smoke TPU case.

I have a thick protective case instead of paying monthly then a deductive for insurance, especially nowadays that everything is glass the phones are too vulnerable to drops. Sure I'd love to rock the phone "naked" and show off the amazing design but if I dropped it I would be extremely pissed I just broke a $1000 phone.
I don't understand why some find it to be a problem that others want to protect their 1000 dollar investment some ppl work in accident prone jobs we need protection I don't like spending multiple 1000s repeatedly.

I bought a Ghostek Nautical for my Galaxy Note 9. The s-pen cover does not close. After complaining to Ghostek and demanding a replacement case or refund, Ghostek agreed to send a replacement. It took two months to arrive. The s-pen cover on the replacement case also doesn't close. Don't waste money on their case..
I'm thinking about buying an Under Armour Verge case which is clear with a tpu outer border(like otterbox symmetry). It looks like they have two types of cases and I can't find any review, you tube videos at all. I tried searching these cases for the note 8 and S8 being the s8 is similar. looks like a decent case, I really just want to know if it has a nice lip above the screen and if the buttons are tactile. any input would be helpful
