I'm a developer at SoCal Devs, and i am creating a new and easy way to flash boot animations. I am looking for some boot animation creators to support my work and let me get their name and work outside of just XDA. I am looking for any sized Boot animations.
The reason i am doing this is to get the permission of the creator instead of "stealing" it from them by using the animations without permission.
This will be a free app on the market.
Thank You,

Hey guys,
I'm trying to create some custom boot animations for a DEV, so far I have been downloading ones and using them as templates and replacing all of the frames, but they don't seem to work. Anyone here have some experience and might be willing to take my animation frames and compile a boot animation for me please??
Any help would be greatly appreciated
No one out of the thousand developers on this site is willing to give me a hand??
At the galaxy tab10.1 section I found out that it was actually possible to enable the CRT animation on a bigger tablet.

Could someone try out if this also works on our xoom and make a special zip file for that?
It would be very awesome!
Has anybody found any boot animations that work for the Tab Pro 8.4? Or frankly, any kind of similar customizations? Wanam Xposed does alright, but it doesn't do everything, and it definitely doesn't have custom boot animations.

I saw your post so I thought I would put together this little mod for you. It installs a boot animation of the superman logo being sketched, which in and of itself is not really fantastic, but it allows the user to then use any bootanimation.zip file as their boot animation rather than the samsung stock bootanimation.qmg. The mod also allows you to return to the stock boot animation as well.
Hope you like it!

After passing this mod, to substitute another boot just replace the file in System / Media?
thank you very much
Yes. Just replace the bootanimation.zip file in system/media
Sent from my SGH-I337 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Now we just need some boot animations at 1600x2560
From my Pro Tab 8.4
Is there an easy way to disable boot animation?

There's an option in Wanam, but I've never tried it, since I like having it.

You sir, are a god among men. My tablet is current with newegg since the car charger I bought with it killed it, but when I get it back, I'm definitely going to give this a go. Thanks again!

One more question, will this also work on other Samsung devices like the S4?

Hello everyone. I have ported the LCARS Star Trek bootanimation to my tab s 10.5. But I saw that the tab pro has the same resolution. I think it should work on the Tab Pro 10.1 and 12.2? They are in qmg format which is what samsung uses. Can anyone test this for me? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3008510

I tried the LCARS boot animation on my Tab Pro 12.2 (after renaming original files) and there was no animation at all when I rebooted. Tried a couple reboots before going back to original animations.

When you say there were none, does that mean a quick black screen and straight into the os...or did it sit forever in blackness before going forward? I ask because I wouldn't mind removing them entirely if possible.
Can someone repost the Jason G Watts boot animation mod?
Thanks
Hello,
I'm trying turn a gif file into a Samsung boot animation but can't seem to find a guide that makes sense.
I have had a go at Samsung Theme Designer but its very difficult to understand.
Has anyone got a tutorial or a creator that can help?
I have linked the gif and the extracted frames in the 1440x2960 size.
Thank You
