z1 Akku Problem - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi to all
i made a Akku for my z1 out of three new z1 Akkus
The first time it lasts 4 Days without staminamode but at the fist time loading over device it stops loading after 3000mah and Shows 100%
so mi Question: Is there a way to tell the Device that it now have 9000mah and load it full ? I tried it with Build.props mod ( ro.semc.batt.capacity=9000 ) but it still not work i also tried to modify : /sys/class/power_supply/battery/Charge_full but after saving it, it imediately jumps back to standard

Xperia T Battery Problems - Like Never Before

First things first, this is my first time posting on XDA Developers and yes I have searched the forums for a similar question/answer and only found one but my I had a small additional problem as well.
Problem 1) My battery indicator is always wrong, one time it says it's 50% and then I restart my phone and then it says 15%, then I play games until it's 12% and then restart again and then the phone now says 20%.
Problem 2) When my battery indicator is incorrect, when I turn off my phone, the xperia T will just restart and then I have to turn it off again.
What I've done;
- I used sony's repair software online (Sony PC Companion)
- Used ICS format option
- Exchanged Xperia T for another one at Carphone Warehouse 2-3 days ago (Original purchase was last week)
- Drained the battery from 100% to 0% and then charged it again.
NOTE: My Xperia T was bought from UK (Carphone Warehouse) and I haven't flashed it onto another ROM nor have I rooted the phone and the phone is unlocked too.
NOTE 2: I had exchange the phone once and still same problems occurred, dunno if I'm "Bad Luck Brian" this week or all certain xperia T's behave this way.

I have come across the issue of the phone restarting on power off. Quite strange but yet couldnt isolate as to why it does it.
Just gt my phone exchanged due to a suspected bad microphone, and the new one too restarted on a power off.
The previous one seemed quite good with battery life and the new one is yet on the 1st cycle of drain.
Yes, occasionaly my phone does a restart instead of a power off, but i find it quitw usefull because normally I am rebooting to get into recovery and I hate not having a reboot option...
Well done sony
EDIT
The other thing that bigs me is the random reboots...does anyone else get this on stock kernel. I am advanced v3 stock kernel.

Good to hear the restart is a common thing
I've had a random reboot once, while running sat nav sw (sygic).
Today I exchanged my phone to Galaxy Note 2, couldn't be happier.
Also, I've contacted Sony before the exchange (and after this thread was posted) and they said that the issue is known by Sony and it's unknown if it's a software or hardware problem for now, wish you guys good luck and hopefully it's a software bug

In the past month on which I own the device I maybe had one or two random reboots. All stock only rooted. So my guess is its in the advance kernel. Since most people who have it have a unlocked bootloader

I haven't experienced any restarts but my battery level indicator is a bit hit and miss.
I can run my batt down to, say, 5% then turn the screen off and leave it for a while and it'll report something like 15% when I turn the screen back on several minutes later. It will also stay working for AGES when at 1% - my best effort was just under an hour of video with 1% being reported!
I'm sure it'll all get fixed in an update. The T is much more stable than my G-Note was just after release, it took months for Samsung to sort things out on it!
Not random reboots nor battery level issues. Currently in fw 195.
The first 2 weeks of my tx, it could stay at 100% for several hours even over night.
After that, It could stay at 1% for up to 3 hours. Lol
The indicator is not Accurate, but hey, I got pretty good battery life out of TX, around 30hrs per charge.
As for the battery indicator: the percentage is calculated based on the current the battery puts out. The problem with current batteries is, if you pull a lot of energy in a short amount of time (boot/reboot, play game, other hard phone use) the current temporarily drops and thus a wrong percentage is calculated. After a while, the current recovers and the correct value will be shown. Comparable to the fuel gauge showing less/more fuel when parked at a steep hill.
This explains how the meter can fluctuate. What I cant answer is if your phone acts inside the "tolerance margin" or if its way off. My Galaxy Note recently went from 30% to 5% in a couple minutes (I used the hell out of it...) and after I stopped using it, it went back to 15% overthe following 30 mimutes.
As for the other issue, I obviously cant help as I dont possess a X T.

So far battery life seems insane with the extended standby mode... Haven't run a full day yet but it's barely dropping at all for the last couple hours.
Sony T restart problems
Hey guys,
Just looking at sony website, i searched xperia t and in the tutorial it said that holding the power off button turns the phone off while holding the power off button and volume up button at the same time makes it restart. All you guys saying you've got problems with the device re-booting. ITS NOT THE DEVICE ITS YOU PRESSING THE VOLUME UP BUTTON:silly: . A little research never hurts every once in a while!!!!!!!!!!
Noticed the battery percentage peculiarities too... Can't we hide the battery percentage altogether? It makes me anxious.
Had only 1 reboot on the other hand, while going into airplane mode. Phone is pretty stable (build 223).
I was having the same problem + some. Got a replacement TL and it behaves normally Read this post, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2355862 if it sounds familiar get a replacement ASAP

[Q] sony xperia z (yuga) cm11: batterydrain

hi,
i'm not sure this is the right topic, if not: sorry!
Im using a sony xperia z (yuga) with CM11 (1120140014-nightly). I know there is no support on nightly, but i have a strange batteryproblem that wasnt there before (sony custom rom 4.2.2). As i'm also using a sony xperia ZR with the same CM release (somethimes its 1 release between them) without this problem.
Phone information:
Model: c6603
Android 4.4.2
Kernel: 3.4.0-g0015ec6
Whats the problem:
Battery is full charged (100) and in about 2 / 3 hours the battery needs recharging. Im using my phone a lot for work so thats one of the reasons. What did i do to try fixing this problem:
After a search for 2 weeks on the internet and trying al things...
1. LPA Decode switched off
2. Screenprotection: 30s
3. ALL (read: all) apps are closed on end of use.
4. CPU max 8xx
5. Non of the apps have permissions for gps. gps turned off (also location on wifi)
6. non of the apps have permissions for auto sync (excluding whatsapp and exchange)
7. Wifi turned off (at all times)
8. bootapps are managed and non of third party apps is starting on boot
9. bleutooth e.g. all switched off
10. screensettings are low (lower is not possible, auto mode screen turned off)
The xperia ZR has just the defauls from cm11 after install and is in use from 6AM till 10PM and is going in the dock with almost 40% battery left....so thats why i know there should be something wrong ;-(
There are no running apps thats couse this. Alle the files (cache/dalvin) are wiped regarly), I have tryed a lot off thngs i found on the internet (ore here), its not fixing the problem. Somethimes i have the idea thats its only a drain when im using the phone a lot, when i put the phone in my deskdock (no charger connected) and in sleepmode its running for 3 ore 4 hours and then its 96% battery....
On the 4.2.2. (stamina modes 100% off the time) i could use my phone all day long (7AM/10PM) and still have 35% left. Maybe im overlooking something ore is there someone here that knows whats wrong....please help....
(android 4.4.2 is runnig smootly on the yuga! It's really a big improvement the cm11 / Sony 4.2.2.)

[Q] Battery Drops... Random restarting...

Hi, guys...
I`m facing the following problems with my XSP...
Fully charged the phone. Then when the batt goes bellow 50% the phone starts to randomly reboot and when comes back to life the batt % is dropped down with more than 10%...
Sometimes this happenes even with batt% over 50% but without the batt % drop... Yesterday it reboots at around 35% - starts - reboot again - maybe 3-4 times... Reboots soo fast after boot that I was unable to start Logcat...After that that phone calm down, stoped restarting. I`ve noticed that maybe this happened when I`m on WiFi... but maybe...
Current ROM : Slimkat LBL. Installed over clean stock 4.3 - brand new atm - its 1 day old.
I`ve tried Pacman ROM too - same thing....
Tryed Battery calibration App - the outcome was expected - zero .
My best guess is damaged /worn/ battery...
Any other ideas ?
Additional info : The phone did it again... It was in my pocket - so didn`t know at what % was the batery, but it was restarted and stayng on PIN when I took it -> shows around 67% batt. After entering PIN and finding operator network - it restarted immеdiatеly. Then - boot up -> entring PIN -> autorestart again. I`m getting a little angry...
Additional info 2 : Is it possible to be SIM-card problem... Since the phone stays ON while on PIN. And just after I entered it -> reboots... Currently testing the phone with SIM-card removed. It boots up and working without restarts so far... Will update if there is some restarts. Otherwise - I`m thinking of trying with some friends SIM-card...
News : Shut down without SIM-cad while in a game, with WiFi - On.
Will try to took some logcat...
News : Just did a factory reset to the current Slimkat ROM - when it starts the batt was at about 45-40%. After finishing and boot up - batt -> 6%... It must be the battery afterall...
Still - any ideas ?!? Or I must buy myself a new toy ....
At the moment, without any charging - battery shows 23% and the phone reboots as soon as I entered the PIN.
Battery showed in Philz Recovery - the same 23%.
Update : Restarts even on 90%...Last time I`ve managed to use the phone for more than 10 mins without reboot...
Tryed some placebo : Battery Life Repair - it shows 5-6 "low" sectors and stands that it managed to reaired them - same sh*t...
Update : Currently running 4.1.2 Stock ROM - the same...
Waiting for the holidays to end so I can send my phone to a service for diagnostic... and eventualy rapair..
Added : Logcat from Slimkat - just before restarting...
So a reboot followed by a severe battery drain.IDK whether battery problem or not but might be some hardware problem.
I suggest you to stay on stock(preferably 4.3).From my experience even i have noted some really nasty problems which were not reported by anyone but ultimately solved by returning to stock.

I`m on custom ROMs from a very very long time.... More than an year. Never experienced such problem... As I said - I`ve flashed Stock 4.3 - same problem...
The strange thing is... that the phone can stay on for a long time before entering PIN... Reboots after entered...
Plus - I can easily flash custom rom trough recovery - which takes time - without reboot or shut down...
I`ll try the phone without SD card... My previous phone - Motorola Defy had problem with some SD cards - it rebooted randomly - now I remembered...
And something more.. .I`ve recently droped the phone on the road , while running...poped out of my belt case. It has silicone case around it , but this can also be a reason - a mechanical internal damage...
I`m guessing that I`ll be forced to buy a new phone...The choice is clear - Xperia Z3 Compact, but it lacks of custom roms for now... And the stock one... well it`s stock
Working...
The phone is working now. Without SD card... The battery is draing a little faster, but not that much... I can change it afterall. But no reboots so far - more than an hour of browsing and gaming .

The first thing I would do is look at settings>battery and see what apps are using the battery. Don't do it immediately after a reboot. Let it run for a little while.

Install wakelock detector o betterbatterystats.
Charge full reboot unplug let it untouched for a couple of hours check what's waking your device

The Best thing is first calibrate you're battery and see if it works or you just charge you're phone to 100 present and just keep you device a side and see if you're battery is draining again just go and see which app is draining you're battery and delete that app or do a factory reset ..!! Make sure to calibrate you're battery first
Calibrating : download and app called advance battery calibrate and follow the instructions given by that app and shut down you're device and charge you're device offline and after charging it 100 present then reboot and see it should work
If no : might be problem in you battery...!!?
Note : start calibration when you phone is about to die i.e when you're phone is at 5 to 6 present of battery left
wow!!!!!

Battery calibration apps just wipes batterystats.bin which is also wiped when 100% is reached, then they are just placebo, they won't hurt the battery.
Offline charge might help if there's an app draining and heating the phone during charge, it might take longer to charge if you have an app draining battery.
Best you can do is to not let battery runs under 15% and try to not completely depleat the battery.
