Where can I find the camera settings to change them to a selfie stick?

You will need to find a camera app that supports the type of selfie stick you have (bluetooth or headphone jack trigger). Neither the stock Google camera app nor the included Motorola camera app support this.

Try Better Camera, maybe it help.

[Q] Using headset as Cable Shutter Release

Hi every one,
how to make the included headset work as a shutter release in Samsung camera app?
I've tried tasker but all i can do is to open camera app , let it take a photo and then close camera again
Camera Fv-5 Has the ability to do this, any way i can port it to the camera app?
thanks.

Any way to turn off Optical Image Stabilization?

Video recording (which can be ruined if you don't turn off CAF) can also be ruined by OIS - especially if you are panning left or right, you get a kind of choppy effect which looks awful.
Is there anyway of turning of the OIS?
I have been doing some reading and it seems the unit can be run in Manual as will as Auto mode for test purposes.
Seeing the fix for the front camera being rotated (after Hal3 setting) using an xml file,
I wondered if there was a similar setting in an xml file that could be flashed to set OIS to manual?
I await your learned answers.
If you are using snap camera, there is an option to disable stabilisation in the video recording settings menu. See the attached screenshot

Ok Will try
thanks.
Some of these camera apps have their own software stabilisation which you'd be turning off but I'll give it a go.
Sadly setting does not seem to be present in the version I downloaded

What about disabling shutter sound and mods like this?

I don't see any mods yet which would remove the camera shutter sound. Also I miss the in-built call recorder option. Can I get them anywhere?

I have no need for a call recorder so I can't help you there but I turn shutter sounds off in camera settings.
You can use Bixby routines to turn off the sound when the camera app is launched. It will disable the shutter sound. When you exit the camera app, the sound will be turned on again.
I guess I'm missing something but why turn off any sounds? Don't all S10 stock cameras have the shutter sound switch in camera settings?

In certain countries laws forbid the shutter sound from being turned off so the phone variants for those countries don't have the option in the camera settings. There are apps that can do it though. My wife has an LG G8 and LG phones don't have a switch to turn it off so she uses No Shutter Sound from the app store and it works great.

Any option to use secondary camera in gcam?

I have read about changing vendor build prop and using gcam with aux support. But I can't find gcam with aux support. If someone can shed a light on this/is it possible to activate the secondary camera would be helpful.
the_dise has recently launched v4.2 which supports aux switch with the help of magisk module. However the secondary 20mp camera output is just 5mp due to pixel binning

I've also installed the_dise gcam (he's on 4.3 btw) together with the magisk module but can't seem to switch to the second camera. Does your camera switch has another colour than white?

You have enable auxillary camera in advanced settings. Primary camera setup number by default is 0. Enable telephoto camera and camera number by default should be 2. Restart camera and you will have two white small white buttons to change camera.
And you need to have a magisk module for all of these things to work....so rooted phones with magisk only.
Just stock rom with cam2api enabled won't work.
By the way, parted ways from stock rom. Custom rom rocks

I have cam2api and magisk and aux options set but still don't see those buttons.
Stock might be the issue. I'm still on Stock Pie November. Maybe it works on Q, but I was thinking to
convert to custom rom anyway; thinking about pixel experience or lineage os. What are you on so I'm sure gcam works fine?

I am actually on Extended UI rom. Gcam works great. No problem. It's a stable rom with Xiaomi parts containing screen vibrance and audio settings which actually is great. Just look for the rom video to get detailed idea. I personally don't like updating rom every 2-3 wks. Instead need a complete stable rom. If you need stable MIUI cam, message me. I have ANX camera luffitys build which is officially now not available. And everything works great in that camera too

I'm on Pixel Experience for a few days now, no need to install gcam enabler, the_dise version works out of the box, aux enabled through magisk also works now, although the second cam is not worth it, I just wanted to test
And off topic again, damn, why have I waited so long on stock, custom is soo much smoother!

It was in his 4.2 changelog:
https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog1110/
Or direct link:
https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/dmgcaux_v1.zip
But even better, you can download it directly from within his more recent versions:
When the cam is open, click the down facing arrow > click the settings gear > advanced settings > auxiliary buttons > download module

Yes. But when I do that it takes me to a website which gives me a 1000 error code of cloudflare. And I can't find any solution to that issue.

Thanks. By using your link, I successfully downloaded and installed the zip file using MAGISK. But do I have to do anything else? Cause I dont see any option to choose or use both lenses together in the camera app.

I did enable "Main lens(camera id: 0)", "telephoto lens(camera id: 2)", " wide angle lens(camera id: 3)", " macro lens(camera id: 4), "zoom lens(camera id: 5)
{Mi A2 only has a primary lens which has a 12mp sensor and a secondary lens which has a 20 mp sensor on the rear side, it doesn't have telephoto, wide angle, macro, zoom) but still I enabled all of them, after installing the "dmgcaux_v1.zip" file with MAGISK. and still the camera app doesn't give me any options to switch lenses or use both lenses together, when I capture an image it says it's 12.2mp, in all modes, no matter which I choose (night mode, portrait, camera) it captures a 12.2mp photo. And if I cover the 20mp sensor it doesn't effect the camera at all. So, the app is not using my secondary sensor. And there is no option to activate it after enabling all the auxiliary buttons.

When I enable those and go back, the camera reboots and gives me the different options just above the regular white circle shoot button. See attached.
What ROM are you on? I couldn't get it to work on stock but now am on Pixel Experience.

Which version of Pixel Experience? I'm still on 20200416.
Install camera2 probe https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.airbeat.device.inspector
And report back what hardware support level you have.
