Hi,
So recently I got the HTC desire 626s from metro pcs (little outdated) and I put my SD card in the slot like I did with my old phone. It was working fine until yesterday where it couldn't recognize my SD card. I did the volume down and power thing and it said "SD card not mounted" when it was mounted. Any suggestions? My phone is not rooted and I recently went into recovery mode on accident if that helps.

No matter what SD card I put in my phone, it says there is no SD card installed. I have tried a 2GB and 2 8GB cards. They work fine in the PC... any ideas??
Does Sprint repair phones?
It sounds like there's an issue with your Hero or when you are putting the SD Card in it is not seating correctly.
If you are rooted flash the RUU to go back to stock and take it in to the Sprint store. That's if you're under your 1 year warranty of course.
I have a similar problem. I installed a new 32 gb SDHC card in a CDMA Hero running Cryogenmod. All was working well for about 10 days, then I got an error that no SD card was found. I had the original card that was recognized, and tried to get to the Clockwork recovery, no luck. Finally, through Rom manager, (flash alternate recovery to Ramon, then back to Clockwork) I was able to boot into recovery.
I still cannot format the new SDHC card, through Recovery, Windows 7, or the Panasonic program listed above. The Windows format option sees the card as a FAT 121mb card, so does the above program. Is this new card toast? It came with a lifetime warranty from Kingston, but I am mad that it did not make 2 weeks.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a card that I bought from Costco that did the same thing. I exchanged it and haven't had any problems since.

Try making a back up of the data on your sd then on your phone go into settings and choose SD card and phone storage scroll down to format SDcard when it's done it should recognize it if not then reboot and it should work hope it does good luck

i just got a 32gb micro sd card (class 4) for my droid and it has been making my droid act really funny. i formatted the card in my droid first then transferred all my files from 16gb card to the 32gb card. then i went along using my droid as normal everything worked just fine (could access all info on card). then i powered off my phone and when i rebooted it would start up with the "no service" logo (this happens almost every time i reboot except factory reset). my phone will restart to bootloader when ever i unmount my phone from my pc or try unmount and remount my sdcard, booting to "no service" logo. i can get service back randomly by the following means: factory reset, battery pull, toggling airplane mode on and off, or dial *228 (non of which is a sure thing to return service) but if i put my 16gb card back in everything works as normal.
one thing to note i can not set my custom notifications, and ringtones stored on sdcard as: media>audio>alarm, notifications, ringtones
So what is a matter with my 32gb micro sd card?
if you have any further question just ask

Have you tried formatting the card through a computer instead of through your Droid?
I'll give it a try and report my results.
I'm on my 2nd 32gb card... first one was a fake pos from ebay that never worked... lol...
Second one was a Patriot class 4 that caused my Milestone to constantly reboot everytime it mounted it to the phone. After a reboot, it would be okay. I reformatted the card in Windows with Fat32 and a 64k allocation unit and so far so good. No reboots unless the phone's overheated... in other words, all is normal.. lol
I had the same problem with fake 32gb micro sd card on Ebay. Thankfully I paid with PayPal and was able to get a full refund. I just formatted my (real) 32gb micro sd card on my pc and now I'm not having any problems thus far.

Hello.
Today I had to flash 3 times Kang's AOKP Build 38 because of some issues with Swype. Everything was working well, then I get home, I try to read a file that was on the microSD Card and it was not mounted. I went to CWM, tried to mount it as "emmc", and it couldn't do it. I took the card out, used it on my laptop and it worked perfectly. I tried ANOTHER microSD card on the GNote and it was not recognized too.
So the problem is something with the GNote itself.
Any tricks on how I can make the phone to read the cards again?
Thank you in advance.
EDIT: I tried one more time to mount "emmc" on CWM and it worked. Then I booted Android, connected the phone to the PC and the microSD Card was recognized as normal. I didn't do anything special. Maybe the card reader inside the phone is about to die?
Just got a used Revolution and the SD Slot is not working. Before shipping back and looking for another phone I wanted to exhaust my options. I checked the SD card in my wifes phone and it worked. Her card did not work on this phone. The card works in my old Revolution (water damaged fried the sim card slot on that one). I tried mounting the SD card through CWM but just get a general error.
Any other suggestions on what to do to get it working?
Thanks
Send it back. Sounds defective.
Hi there,
I recently bought the tablet and was using a 16Gb SD card, which was read both under Android (stock) and Windows (stock).
All of the sudden the SD card stopped working. The card itself is OK, since I tested it on several other devices.
When now I insert it in the tablet, it's detected by the device, but eventually it's not mounted and the message "SD card succesfully ejected" (or something like that) appears.
Any idea as to why this is happening and about what it can be done to fix it?
Thank you in advance.
