So I'm looking for a clear case on amazon. I'm looking for one that isn't slippery so basically rubbish.
Could I get some suggestions.

The best clear cases I have ever owned were from Spigen. I had the Liquid crystal clear for the S6, and I just ordered the S7 one. Its so popular it's been pushed back on back order multiple times.
The Ringke Fusion is nice, but as with most clear cases dust seems to magically appear inside. I think the glass back of the phone makes it worse; I will have my NeoHybrid in clear tomorrow which I hope will be nice.

I think you can search on Amazon under the brand name ObliQ. I searched just on amazon and they have some. Caseology and iBlason are also some other good brands. I am not associated with any of these company. This is just for your information!
I prefer the Samsung official clear cover. You can get 30% off if you register your phone. Last week I bought the Insignia clear tpu at Best Buy for $15 just for some protection. Now a T-Mobile has the Samsung cover in stock and said they will take 25% off. I decided to wait and see if Best Buy has it but I don't think they do yet if they will even carry it. I should have just got it at T-Mobile.

The manufacturers and carriers always charge ridiculous prices for their cases, even when on sale. Maybe Samsung direct, but never from the carrier store. They're all about making commission, upselling and upping the prices.
I rarely ever buy anything other than Spigen, there products are top quality and always exceed my expectations.

Speck has a decent clear case. I bought it at best buy until my clear uag case comes in. I always use the uag clear as my daily case.

I know.... Some people like buying cheap cases online but 99% of the time I never like them. That's the main reason I buy in the store. It's a hassle returning things online. I have no problem spending $25 on a case if I know I like it. I'm getting a free VR, free year of Netflix, free Samsung wireless charger and a $30 coupon at Best Buy. I'm happy.

Hi guy's I have just finished reviewing the Otterbox Symmetry Clear Case on YouTube, I bought it with my own money and I don't earn a penny from my reviews. Click on my link below and see the flaws with this case and the plus points.

I will be reviewing a lot more case's in the next few days so subscribe to my channel as I might save you time and money. Please enjoy and thank you.

I can't find a case for this phone anywhere online. I checked amazon and googled it. People were talking about samsung.com, but I don't see anything specifically for the note 2 there. Can everyone just post links of places they got their cases? I really want a case before I destroy the phone. Thanks!

Samsung.com.
Shop products -> Cell Phone Accessories. Should be 20 pages of stuff
Filter for "Cases and Holsters" on the left. Should be 4 pages now.
Go to page 4. Official Samsung flip cover ($40) and protective case ($30) are there in 2 colors each. Use the 50% coupon from thread at the top of this forum.
Also, there is always eBay, and I heard Sprint stores have cases in stock. My T-Mobile store had no accessories
There are not many US-based retailers that have cases for sale at reasonable prices. I have a slew of them coming through eBay but most of them are third-party and shipping from Hong Kong. I checked the T-Mobile store nearby only to find that they did not have any accessories in stock and did not have any idea when they'd be getting them in.
Samsung.com, when I last checked yesterday, did not have any of the flip covers in stock for the Note 2. I put in a backorder on them but have no received an email yet.
Amazon.com, has mostly third-party accessories as well and it's difficult to find the correct items. Keep in mind that you can search for N7100, N7105, SGH-T889, SGH-i317 and many other model numbers.
Hoping within the next week or two that more US retailers begin carrying accessories.
Sprint
Anybody checked if Sprint has any accessories either?
Just called up T-Mo again, and again, "sorry, nothing yet. Looks as we got the phones early or something". Sigh...I think I got a simple one that should be here by next Monday...from Amazon.com
Well that's lame I'd really like to protect my phone. Can you guys post links to the few cases you are finding? I mean why can't we buy from European retailers sites? It's like they aren't selling cases yet either...
Just checked and Samsung.com is indeed out of the Flip cover, but they have the Protective cover in White and Black in stock.

More and more cases are showing up each day. I ordered that Poetic flip case myself last night. Got a notification that it had dropped to $4.95, and there was no shipping cost (even without Prime), so it was pretty much a no-brainer.
Saw that about the Poetic case myself too. Went to order it today and they wanted to charge something like $25 for delivery to Europe Thanks but no thanks. Pity.
If you receive delivery I'd love to read a review

I'm particularly curious to know, when that case and the Note 2 arrive, if it can handle the phone inside of a TPU.
Speaking of TPUs, I haven't heard back from Diztronic yet on whether they're making TPUs for the Note 2. TPUs don't get any better than Diztronic, imo.
Wish there was a seidio case out.. Or something like it.. That was a nice case that protected well

I have bought quite a few cases for my Note original, and then my S3, and now a few for my Note 2, but i always come back to using this one.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TPU-Gel-Sil...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item5d35b91c97
It is cheap and is relatively unobtrusive. It is thin and yet, sturdy enough to protect the phone from a drop from a table top. The sides wrap around the front of the touchscreen just enough to give it protection from putting it directly on a flat table top. The kick stand is very useful to stand this beautiful screen, especially for the kids to watch a show.

Forgive me if I sound daft, but I have been browsing the forums looking for the best case that would protect my phone. I am deciding between either the Otterbox Commuter, Trident Aegis, Ballistic, Seido Surface, or the Best Buy Platinum Series Case. I am leaning towards the Seido, but have heard somewhat mixed reviews about how it attracts lint, and how it seems loose at times. What I am wondering is, I have heard that the Platinum Series case and the Seido Surface are exactly the same, but with a different logo. If this is true, why are people purchasing the seido case when they can save almost 20 dollars, and get the one from best buy?
Is there some difference that I haven't caught?

Was just at a Best Buy today and they had no cases for the GN II. Here's the Platinum Series kickstand case online:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Platinum+Series+-+Kickstand+Case+for+Samsung+Galaxy+Note+II+Mobile+Phones+-+Black/7175042.p?skuId=7175042&id=1218832287567
I purchased one from best buy, in store. They only had one so they must have a very limited supply. It was only $34 for the surface with holster. Great deal! I did take mine back as i just got my otterbox defender in. The case and holster were very nice quality though, no complaints! While the sedio is much slimmer i wanted the extra protection of the defender and the ability to place the phone in the holster screen out. I am using the holster as my car mount so having the screen out capability was a must!
I pcked my Best buy Platinum case on Sunday and it is very good quality. I am very pleased with how the case feels and how the holder works. It was on sale for $29.99.

The three best buys near me don't have any cases for the note 2 except the crappy flip cover.
I tried to get the PT case, but every store in Houston was sold out, except the one in the Galleria...which is an absolute traffic nightmare during Christmastime. I'm thinking of getting the store near me to to a transfer, or maybe they'll get more in stock.
Anyone got a review on this case?
Can anyone try the spen around the kick stand?

The platinum brand is in fact made by seidio. Same case. Best Buy Platinum brand. It even says seidio on the bottom of the packaging fyi

Any videos of this case? I want to see it lol
Id also like to know if any one had tested the spen near the kickstand. Someone posted a pic of how the magnet curves lines where the spen is, can't seem to find it now though.
A good reason is that not everyone lives in the USA and has a Best Buy on the same continent On the other hand, Seidio ships all over the world, and as do eBay sellers.
Because Best Buy does not deserve my money. That place sucks.
I have the platinum bb case. It IS a seidio surface case and holster. I immediately checked out the Spen around the kickstand cuz I'd heard complaints about the seidio active, and I have zero issues. All works well.

I decided to feed the beast because they're close by and I did manage to find one in stock. Also a fair bit cheaper than buying online and having it shipped. Buy online for instore pickup FTW!
However, NO THANKS WHATSOEVER to the best buy at 99 and 1093. I asked those turdburglers if they were in stock at the store that I'm going to go pick it up at this evening...they said "NOPE". Of course, that store could have got stock in, but I doubt it. Furthermore, they didn't offer to do a store transfer that did have one (and I wasn't smart enough to ask.) Their customer service blows.
Anybody know where I can pick up a black one for cheap? Cheapest I found was $19.95. Trying to save some money. I just want it for work because my main case is going to be the UAG scout. Thanks
Sent from a galaxy note 2 far far away...
Why not keep UAG as the only case? It will offer both style and protection, all around the day. Also, keep in mind, no matter how great UAG is going to be (I'm waiting for Navigator as well), taking it on'n'off every single day along with an alternative case will wear it's off sooner or later. A cheaper and more flexible TPU case will have a greater longevity, but obviously less protection. I'm just guessing UAG will be more rigid and after constant on and off might form cracks.
Regarding Trident, $19 is probably the best you can get until Note 3 is released, unless if they are slow sellers and have special one-day promo deal.
Since you are saying you trying to save money, I would just stick to one case

True about the taking it on and off part. I mainly want it because its ridged and has dust covers. I had the commuter but I didnt like it. The Aegis seems like a decent case. So I guess $19 is pretty cheap but I wanted to push it . I will keep in mind your suggestion. I hope to get my UAG next week. It would be a great birthday present to myself

Are you sure they're fake? The title quotes "50% off". It's probable they are fake, but it's one of those difficult to tell. For the relatively cheap price I say give it a shot. You won't have lost a lot of money really, and it's possible you'll be happy with your purchase anyway.

really man ?? the original it's not expensive, just only 15.99, not to mention the great quality of spigen covers. Come on man, support one of the few
brands that make great quality covers for a fair price.
Definitely fake, considering the 7 colors offered in the list that Spigen doesn't make (for this one).
Ive bought like 12 cases from Spigen and love their products but I wouldnt say their price is good. $40 for a glass screen protector? I just bought my 2nd slim armor for the htc one m8 and it cost $25 with shipping. I wouldnt say that is cheap considering it probably cost like $1 to make. But anywho Im gonna order one of these for the hell of it. Probably the lime green one.
Paying 25 bucks for a Glass Screen Protector is stupid, in my opinion, when you have the unbranded ones from AliExpress for 5 bucks shipped. And trust me, they are exactly the same.
I bought one and it sucks. So much so that I told the buyer that I was going to leave negative feedback AND make sure spigen knew that they were supplying fake goods etc they refunded me in full and told me to keep the case as a gesture of goodwill. If you want i'll gladly send u it if u cover the postage.

You have to shop around. Sometimes the MSRP is much more than street price. That case is 40 bucks on Amazon. $40 bucks is a lot of money for a case but that Slim Armor View case is looks like it's worth it. Their fit and finish has always been top notch and their cases look great.I'm more of a minimalist kind of guy so it's not really for me but if I needed more protection, I would definitely pay $40 for it.
I love how you automatically assume I'm their employee just because I praise them. Is it taboo to like a company?
You answered my question when you said "$40 bucks is a lot of money for a case". I say it's an outrageous price for a case.

Yes I did say $40 is a lot of money for a case but it's a fair price for what the case offers. There are plenty of other companies that sell cases at that price range, if not more. Otterbox for example.

I am not saying they don't make good cases and that their cases are not better than the fake ones (I bought both). I am just saying it's not fair price. 20 bucks would be the correct price to ask. Same goes with their glass screen protectors. 30 bucks? lol. I bought a similar one for 5 bucks shipped on aliexpress.
They also have terrible design flaws on their cases. The S-View cases, for instance, didn't have a simple hole for the notification led light pass through. It's a great feature to miss so I had to make one myself (it looked terrible, of course). Same goes with the closing mechanism of that case, which broke after some months because of simple use.
The HTC One m8 Spigen ultra fit capsule, a clear case they launched, also has flaws (too bulky and with a yellowish problem).
This is my opinion. You can keep yours, of course.

See if you said that at the very beginning, we could've had a meaningful and brief discussion.
It's much easier to understand your point of view when you actually support your claim.
I had their Barely There case for my HTC One X and the Slim Armor for the M8 and both were priced at pretty much the same as their competitors their design put them ahead in my opinion.
I guess we both had very different experiences with their products.
In all honesty the bigger name case manufacturers do over charge IMO. For me, anything over £19.99 ($25) is pricey and best justify the additional cost.
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
My point exactly. They overcharge us
Hey if any one is looking for a case in LA there is a kiosk in Plaza Mexico in Lynwood Ca, that has affordable cases to buy. I picked up one for $15. Best buy and Tmobile both don't have any in stock. And no I'm not a sponsor. Lol
Or just order one online from the well known manufacturers and get one that's better quality.

Yeah I'm going to wait until best buy gets some in. This case is just in the mean time until I can get a view case I definitely didn't want to go a couple of days with it unprotected. Mine was $15 because I got a heavier duty one they have cheaper ones too. sheeeese bro I'm just trying to help out anyone looking for a case until supply is better.
You can get a good TPU from Amazon for less than $8 and shipped next day (extra charge). I believe I got the Diztronics until my SGP Neo Hybrid arrives.
