Hi Guys
I'm having a bit of trouble updating my supersu binary. I'm running Android 4.3 and am trying to update to the most recent version of supersu (1.69). I installed from the play store, but get the message 'SU binary needs to be updated'. Neither the normal nor TWRP update options within the supersu app seem to work for me (both result in the phone entering a constant restart loop). In TWRP I've tried flashing the su 1.69 update zip but before it finishes flashing the phone exits recovery and restarts - if I install from the play store I enter a loop, and if I try to flash from TWRP it doesn't install.
Any Ideas? Thanks in advance
After SuperSU v2.0 update installed, request to update binary caused reboot before completed. The system was then in bootloop, and restarted every minute, and the only way to stop was to disable SuperSU in Apps. Tried to install the supersu .zip in CWM, and when its installing, it also reboots before it completes. Uninstalled update, but it leaves the old rom version, which now also does not work. Root is broken. Please help to reslove. HTC One S 4.1.1

When u open supersu select twrp recovery if u have try again if failed, It happened to me 2 now supersu 2 workimg for me
Since updating to Lollipop, my old method of root for this device no longer works, I flashed it in TWRP before, but that stopped working in 5.02, this time I read the only way to root would be to use CR autoroot, it worked but the SU app askes for me to update the binaries every time I launch the app, I've updated selecting normal, that was successful and rebooted, but the update binary pop-up still appears, I then selected to update using TWRP, that launched into TWRP upon reboot, the installation was a success but the pop up still hasn't gone.
Also for the record, I've unroofed and re-rooted, the problem still occurs, I've tried switching SU app to KingUser, that didn't work, I can still perform operations that require root because I'm rooted, but this pop-up will not cease, I've never used SuperSU before, my SU manager has always been KingUser (com.kingroot.KingUser)
Thanks.
It always asks me to upgrade the su binary and when I do it the phone stuck on booting and then I need to reinstall the rom.
Things I've tried:
Changing Rom (android revolution and maximums both android 5)
Reinstall supersu zip (2.46, most updated)
Update both normally and from recovery
Remove all root applications including exposed and reinstall
Root the phone with kingoo root (from the computer)
Please help me guys, without updating the su binary the root won't work and I'm exhausted from this problem I've tried everything. ( go back to 4.4 is not an option)
someone? please..

A user in the 6.0.1 UAE thread suggests that the CF autoroot for 5.1.1 firmware works on 6.0.1 as well. Haven't tried it myself but if you try it tell us how it goes.

I tried CF Autoroot or to flash the current SuperSU.zip via TWRP.
Both times I get the following error if I trying to open the SuperSU App:
"There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is problem! If you upgraded to Android 5.0, you will need to manually re-root - consult the relevant forums for your device!"
Of course I already tried different times after resetting and flashing the hole phone and also I tried an older SuperSU ZIP via TWRP, but everytime I get this error.
CF autoroot for 5.1.1 works on the 6.0.1 rom, I have just use it on 2 G800F without problem.

This is how I could root stock Arab 6.0.1 ROM:
1) Download original Firmware
2) Boot to recovery and wipe everything (internal storage isn't necessary, but it is always recommended to start a 100% clean
installation)
3) Boot to Download mode and flash original firmware using ODIN
4) Had to wait appr. 10 minutes to boot.
5) Let it boot, configure your things
6) Arabic apps (SHAHID and Papergarden) cannot be removed but you can disable them.
7) Start SuperSU. It gives you the usual message: "There is no SU binary installed,...." Dont worry just close SuperSU.
8) Go to ODIN in and flash Chainfire root (CF-Auto-Root-kminilte-kminiltexx-smg800f.zip)
9) Restart phone and root is done.
10) SuperSU could not be updated from PlayStore initially. However after restarting phone it was successful. Then it asks to update SuperSU binary...
11) Warning message of Knox pops up, you need to disable it. After this SuperSU binary is successfully updated. Restart phone and you are done.
