Is there a way to have a froyo root zip without superuser.apk
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
It is possible, but why would you want to do that? The superuser app prevents apps from gaining root access without any prompt from the user. If you didn't have it root apps would have free reign over your device...
EDIT: Oh and next time post questions in the Q&A, you will avoid snarky replies that way
Ok thanks the only reason is I like thing to look stock with root access like the black twitter and Facebook widget and I usually remove once I have root

Hi, I have a problem with greenify om my xsp. Bought the donation package and apps won't auto hibernate now. Problem seems to be on the sp only since there's not much info about. Anyone else experience this? Thanks

I got the build 6 which hangs when i did the "+ then search" for apps to hibenate method.
Downgrade to build 3 and it hibernates alright (at least the toasts say so)
FYI - am on plain vanilla .254 stock
Just try to uninstall and reinstall. Or simply clear the cache for Greenify in settings/apps
Contact greenify app author and tell him about your problem
I just rooted with Towel root and did all the goodies (debloated, etc). I'd like to use Xposed for Gravity box or Wanam. I noticed some threads are complaints about the phone acting up after installing the framework, others say it's module associated.
Curious to how stable the framework is. Is anyone experiencing anything without running any modules, or with Wanam/Gravitybox?

Depends on what you want, I did the Xposed and Wanam, but lost private mode and S health. They worked fine but I do use the S health, so waiting to see if someone can get them all playing well together.
I have no issues with anything. Bloat gone and Knox disabled. I didn't buy the S5 for all of Samsung's gimmicky features, so I don't care if they're there or not.

this is what you do to get s health to work:
Make sure the Xposed isn’t installed.
We need to change build.prop file inside the system partition, you can also get it done manually by using a file manager app or get a build prop editor on play store.
Once you find the build.prop file, look for the “ro.securestorage.support=true” line.
Now change the line to “ro.securestorage.support=false”.
Install the Xposed framework again.
The final step is wiping S Health app data, head to System -> App Manager -> ALL -> S Health then wipes the data. Now your Galaxy S5 should be able to runs Xposed framework and S Health simultaneously without any problems.

I tried this, but I could never get s health to work again even with Xposed uninstalled. I have gone back to unrooted stock for now.
All is good using Wannam, Exposed G-Touchwiz and RootCloak!
Just remember to enable the modules after you install and reboot to insure they're active.

Decided to install and run Wanam after reading your comments. Working fine and stable.

So I rooted my phone with twrp and SuperSU but busybox is giving me this error and adfree still shows ads, rootchecker says I'm rooted and other apps that requite root do work... I really have no idea what I did wrong, any ideas?
Thanks

Same thing happen when I rerooted my moto x after upgrading to 4.4.4
I ended up installing busybox x to install busybox binaries and then used busybox(stericson) to update to the latest version of busybox.
And what about adfree? It won't remove ads, neither does any other adblock I have tried...

I already discovered the solution. Just flash supersu 2,78 SR1 then suhide 0.52.... Add the UID app program to blacklist and you are ready to go...
