full screen foto on dialer - Galaxy S6 Themes and Apps

hey people, is there any way to get fullscreen foto on the dialer?
insted of the little ring...

Using high quality images makes it to approx. 50% of the dialer when someone calls you.
Better use a high quality square photos for your contacts.

Tytn 2 Panoramic Shots Inside

Just thought I would post a few photos using the 3mp panoramic feature, you may notice that some pics are slightly overlapped, couldn't help it as it was very windy and very cold and difficult to hold the phone steady
Photos were taken today in South Wales UK in the Brecon Beacons
Cut the size down a bit as they were huge.

Resolution - 3mp
White Balance - Auto
Brightness - +1.0

Quality - Super Fine
Metering Mode - Center Area
Shoot Option - Half Press
Flicker Adjustment - Auto
And just for panoramic shots I use,
Direction - Left to right
Stitch Count - 3

Great place to visit and a nice 40min walk to the summit, on a nice sunny day the views are amazing
Here is some info on the place.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brecon_Beacons
Here is their main site.
http://www.breconbeacons.org/
Is it me or is there a greenish vertical stripe about a third of the way in on all those photos (+maybe another one 2/3rds of the way in)? How many shots were in the panorama?
Last time I was in the Brecon Beacons I had a 60 pound backpack on a 20 mile run They obviously look better when you're only carrying a camera and a sandwich bag
Great photos
Those are some really good shots!
Was there a lot of motion with the cloudcover or where they pretty steady?
They were steady.
I can't find the registries to enable 3MP in panorama mode, some help please?

I see them. Vertical bands where the picture is slightly darker, with a greenish hue. They aren't spaced exactly at 1/2, 2/3. But it must have something to do with the stitching.

Use KaiserTweak ! There are two registry values to edit...
Thanks for the suggestion but actually I wanted to keep my other registry settings so I didn't use the KaiserTweak. Anyway, I've figured out the registry settings and did the following changes:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\P6\
Changing the DWORD value of MainCamCaptSize from 64 to 1024 and MainCamSupportCaptSize from 80 to 1748.
Is there a way to darken the part of the screen that is frozen in place to line up the 2/3 and 3/3 shots? I suck something awful at lining up the panorama shots.

HELP PLEASE?? Contact Photo Related

Guys,
What should i do to make the contact photo in my diamond looks bright like in htc.com (the demo).
Already photoshoped the photos and no matter how great and how bright i edited the photo, but still in the contact section of touchFLO 3D the photo looks blur.

I suggest:
1. Low resolution of the picture (120x160 pixels is the size I believe)
2. Use High contrast to make clearer.
thanks.....i'll try that....

Wrong!
Contact photo picture should be 256x256 pixels!
MOD: Please post in relevant forums. This is ROM Development!
ok thanks....sorry about the wrong thread in wrong section thing ..
Go to the picture you want to set with HTC Album. If you want you can zoom in on the picture to crop. Then you can choose "save in contacts" (or something like that: i have a Dutch device) by pressing the right menubutton.
Your contactspicture will be set in the right resolution now!
finally, it works....thanks guys......

camera sucks

if there is slight movement the pictures and film is blurry. any fix for this?

on the dia100 you can remove the plastic lens on the battery cover. makes a good difference, but doesn't help with movement. i would like to know if you can adjust the shutter speed. i know nothing of how cameras work, but assume that would help with streaking/blur.
That's the kicker! If we can adjust shutter speed then all would be fixed. I own a few SLR and DSLR cameras and shutter speed changes everything, you can even make ghost pictures! could some one write a cab file for this? I am no programmer.
If you reduce the shutter speed then the picture will be too dark.... it stays open that long for a reason.
If you use the camera in daylight its 'fine' its becasue the apature/lens is soo small it cant get enough light... hence it has to stay open longer.
Try changing the settings (white balance) to see if that helps you.
If you use advanced config to get rid of all of the lag before the photo is taken and change the settings within the cameras white balance to something better (the 'light bulb' one works well) it shouldn't be too bad.

Camera Blur Gone - Simple Fix

By simply changing the brightness level to -2.0 you will no longer have a blur - it's like changing the ISO on a camera and the FPS will jump by over 50%. check it out in full here: http://www.fuzemobility.com/decrease-the-blur-of-your-camera-really/
Hey thanks for that tip, works a treat, now can take pictures in low light a lot better...
yes, this makes a positive difference!
thanks that has made a big different to mine

Good tip!! +1
What you are doing is shortening the shutter speed / exposure time in the camera thus you get the frame increase. It's not the camera app lagging or anything.
If shutter/exposure was set to auto and you try to take pictures in a dark room it gets slow as the camera needs to compensate and take more time to collect the light to make a viewable image.
So don't go thinking this is a bug or anything

I agree - if they just stated that brightness = shutter speed I think we all would have changed it. Instead, it sounds more like saturation (just software chanes and not frame rate). It's not a bug but it is something that's not obvious to the end user and changing this setting has a huge difference in low light settings.
no its not a bug, but its bad engineering.
It was embarrassing to me as an owner of a $700 phone.
Great tip +1
Thanks!
can anyone post some sample images? I'd like to see what my 'soon-to-have' diamond will be able to do with some tweaking
there are some non hi-res photos here: http://www.fuzemobility.com/got-yellow-photos-fix-it/
here's a 7meg panaramic photo: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3123629&postcount=12
The Touch Pro/Fuze/Diamond have almost identical hardware (except for the keyboard of course)
hm, not too spectacular :/
no samples with the fix from this thread?
e fix merely ensures that there are no blurs in your photos - not that they are better photos. The camera is a 3mp camera and it's pretty good in fact. Let me see if I have any photos that are friendly on my phone But this fix doesn't make photos better - it solves a problem with the camera (and many camera phones) by reducing the blurriness you often get from movement.
Take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=448093
ah, cool thx dude
it's good enough for a little phone like the diamond

[Q] Quite a few issues (memo, profiles, screen) (Beginner)

Hello Everyone!
I am new to Android, my Galaxy Note is my first Android phone. So maybe my questions will seem stupid :
- Is there a way to quickly change between Silence/vibrate/ringtones ? Like a widget ? It is easy to switch between vibrate to ringtones, but I have to go to settings when I have to get the vibration off.
- Is there a way to be reminded of memos or tasks, like an alarm, but with memos ? An app for that maybe ?
- My screen has sometimes problems with black pixels on dark photos or youtube videos. There are huge packs of black pixel, not showing great hardware problem ? I hope not...
Thank you!

If you slide down the drop down menu you can turn on sounds or no sounds. You can also get widgets on the market that can enable or disable vibrations I believe as well.
Gtasks is an app I use to sync google tasks, there are options to put reminders (alarms). I don't believe memos in theory need reminders or alarms. I believe that to be a task if it's time constricted.
You could upload a picture here, and we can see if we can replicate the issue. I don't have my note yet, it's on its way. But I'm sure someone else wouldn't mind taking a look at it.
Cheers

If it is "sometimes" then usually it is not a dead pixel because they are "everytime"... It could be just contrast issues on the picture.
