G.tab 8.9 Baseband / Missing IMEI ... Extreme lagging ( Easy way to solve )

I don't know how this happened , but took me 3 days to get out of this trouble ( obviously i am a noob
I've tried odin with all stock room which include PIT , Bootloader , PDA ..... . no luck
Eventually i found some work around in Galaxy S2 forum in xda . In that page which included detail instruction but i am so noob to understand ADB and terminal thingy in that page . But understand the concept as all i need is backup efs folder with the right permission restore with the right permission . So this could work for all model which lost baseband i guess
Ok here is what u need . u need a application call " GSii_repair " which does exactlly what the gs2 forum mentioned .
Require : Root + superuser i guess
Download " gsii_repair " form Market or 1mobile
Step 1 : Install and open
Step 2 : Read careful at main screen of GSII_repair
There is RED letter showing what u need to makes it work , u need Busybox install in ur tab . To be precise i download the version which ask .
Step 3 : Install busy box . i not sure i even open it
Step 4 : In GSII_repair , go to " Repair GSII " tab . u'll see 4 step . i already save my brick phone at second step . I proceed to step 4 anyway
Step 5 : Check if Baseband , IMEI .... whether recognized by ur tab . btw i not sure if i restart my phone at that time to check those .
Since i am not a tech guy , i just explain what i did . So please forgive my noob explanation + terrible english
Godbless ^^

Help, Motorola X Semi-Bricked!

Well, friends , first of all , I've been saying that this is not my Motorola X , is a great friend of mine, who bought his Galaxy S4 and sold me , and with the money bought a Motorola X after doing root and an update OTA , the device restarts without stopping . And do not give gateway to enter into recovery mode or fastboot .
I'll try to give as much information as I can according to what he told me :
He did root the firmware Brazilian unlocking your bootloader ( unsecured )
Soon after the device used to root for a few days .
Soon after , he upgraded to the new firmware , which according to him , had improvements in camera.
Is there any way to fix this ? Eg via ADB ? Even if he does not come into fastboot mode ?
Friends bear with me , I had only Samsung devices and I am used to flash ROMs on Android devices Samsung . Know how to use RSD Lite on some devices , but that's it .
I hope the help of community members MotoX on XDA Developers. A big thank you .
Sorry , I use an online translator to correct my words , my English is not very good .

So it sounds like he flashed a custom recovery? The ota will not flash with a custom recovery, the phone will bootloop constantly so he needs to delete the ota file that is in the cache folder, I believe he can do it with fastboot ( fastboot erase cache) but I'm not quite sure if that is the exact phrase

Guy, you are fantastic, I tried what you said adb mode and gave absolutely right ... You're a god, should be in the community Galaxy S4. I have experience with ADB devices in brick partition eMMC Samsung. But I never thought I had to do something so simple in motorola devices.
Thanks, solved the problem.
Big thanks. +1.

[Q] Galaxy Ace Unlocking and Stock Rom Problem

Hey Guys
Sorry if this question has been asked before. I've searched all over but not found any solution though.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830V. I previously bricked it and restored stock firmware and now when i turn on my device it says Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830I. The problem with this is that i now wanted to unlock my phone and when i use the Vodafone Unlock Tool (found by searching "vodafone unlock tool") and when i enter the unlock code into the Network Unlock thingy it says "Network Unlock Unsuccessful". I think that the problem is because the unlock tool says its for GT-S5830V and my firmware has changed to GT-S5830I. Please, does anyone know where to find the stock firmware for GT-S5830V or is there a way i can FULLY restore my phone to when i bought it instead of just wiping all the apps off (because all it does it wipes all the apps off and doesn't actually "restore to factory defaults")
Please correct me if my understanding of the problem is wrong and if somehow i can get my hands on another unlock code without paying some weird "unlock your phone here" website.
Thanks in advance

I tried doing the solution on that link and it didn't work. so i clicked on the link that was on that post that said improved method and i got everything right until the hex editing where the hex search didn't work so i couldn't find the code.
Does anyone else have any ideas? I had to pay another $20 on vodafone so i can still call and text so at the moment my new sim is just a waste of money so i desperately need a solution.
Thanks again for your attempt at helping and your quick reply:good:

Bro, did you run Install after you installed BusyBox on your device? You should check the comments from the site. Most of guys who didn't open the BusyBox app and run Intall received this error. While doing a full Install solved it. Do post your result. Hope I helped

Of course i clicked install after. I ended up getting pro version to install smart install to ensure no problems and it didn't work.

Try to follow this video. As per the video, if you get "or or or" error, run Smart install again on BusyBox. If that doesn't work, I also found a site on the comments of this video. It seems the site unlocks any phone & it's free cause they run on user donations. I have no personal experience with this site, so use at your own caution.

I think that when you re-flashed the rom from brick the phone got network unlocked. Did you try another sim before trying to unlock it?

Yes i tried with Amaysim.
I got a reply from Vodafone and they supplied me with a master reset code. I followed the method provided and when I entered the reset code into the phone keypad, it said "Mobile Network not Available". I guess I just have to take it to Vodafone to get it unlocked. Will they unlock a rooted phone or will they not accept it? If they wont then i can just unroot it.
Guys I found a confusing solution. While on my way to Vodafone I unrooted my device just in case they didn't allow rooted devices. Once i got there the guy must of thought i did something wrong with the unlock code so he decided to get the unlock code for me. Once he got the unlock code he switched the sim cards to enter the code but strangely we were not prompted to enter the code and the sim just worked. I rooted my device again to see if that was the problem and I was prompted to enter the unlock code so it was so i unrooted it again. But unfortunately nothing seems to go right for me now and now I can only connect to wi-fi if my device is rooted. If i try to connect while unrooted it will attempt to obtain the ip address for a while until it gives up and says the network is disabled. Does anyone happen to know a solution to this problem?
Thank you to everyone who tried to help
Reflash the stock rom with odin and remod it.

[Help] Rooting , recovery etc

Hello.
I just have a Xperia Z , for my sister. i come from samsung world , so i am little lost.
Actually , the phone is on android 5.1.1 with the build 10 7 A 0 228. i check on the net (even on french forum) and there is not a topic witch everybody is agree and it makes me clearly CRAZY !
So , i ask you , expert ! I want to try custom roms . So in order , i must ROOT my phone , then backup my TA partition (its really obligation ? because the phone haven't guarantee anyway but i read that the camera will not work without ?) unlock bootloader ? installe recovery then flash like all other android phone ? right ?
Is there any tutorial witch works ? i try so many and... for recovery for example so say don't need root but finally , in order to use software i need , i must root... -_-
Thanks in advance... if someone have time to help me ... its a huge maze...
