Follow the tutorial, it's very easy. It doesn't matter which firmware you flash, I believe the roms are based on a central europe build, you will get a choice to choose the language when you first start the rom

1. buy glasses cause the only reason for u to ask this, must be a problem with your eyes
2. read rom sticky's carefully
3. use brain and solve the following riddle what "*** Tutorial: Debranding the X1 / Flashing ROMs ***" could mean
4. flash
5. be happy with flashed phone
Harsh, but fair!

Wow, from Sweden and can't write or spell correctly
Anyway, just connect the phone to your computer and use SE Update Service. It'll probably say that you don't need an update, but do it anyway.
Hi,
I am trying to find a guide to install a custom rom to my Japanese docomo Galaxy tab .
I'm living in Japan so I don't need to unlock it etc, I just want to install a rom.
I got as far as flashing but kernels were not listed for my device.
It's doing my bloody head in!
Hope someone can point me in the right direction or list the things I have not written and slap me.
cheers

hi, im new here, but i have a lot of experience flashing in my xperia x10. I've been reading about downgrading, upgrading firmwares between 10a to 10h, how to do it? is better to have one than another? i am not able to root my phone in my current firmware (10a), could i if upgrade to another one? thanks
How about searching and reading first, rather than expecting people to spoon-feed you the answers like a kid at school?
Go search, go read, go learn. Dont make noob topics.

Once that you know that firmware is changed by flashing, you already know some "key words" or "tags" to search a little

But i really don't want to downgrade my phone it takes alot of time and effort. I just want the method of pre rooting. It's just that i really don't know what are the basics such as the "Bootloader", SuperSU, how to choose the designated firmware and also the root recovery.
If you know a thread or a link please reply it to me.
D6633? Wrong forum my friend ?
Hello, and nice forum you guys! It has been really helpful so far
Now i know how to root my Xperia V (its rooted already) and so, but heres my problem:
Like som many other people, i want to play this Pokémon Go game, and it requires Android 4.4 (or higher). My Xperia V is 4.3 (9.2.A.2.5) but I need to upgrade android to 4.4 at least, but I would like to have 5 or 6 if possible.
I've been like a week trying to install recovery mode, without luck.
I don't know how to effectively instal CWM or TWRP
I don't know the REAL way to enter recovery mode in this device (I've seen A LOT of options but with other xperia models)
I don't know if I can install a new stable version of Android
PLEASE! any detailed help is apreciated, as I'm really a noob in this mobile thing
Thanks in advice!
PS: I know there are a lot of old threads about this, believe me I've read them all... but still I don't understand a lot of things or can't get it to work
Sorry for my broken english
