Hi I have a Nexus 6 and I got a little bit of water damage in the headphone jack that makes the phone think headphones are plugged in all the time. Is there anyway I could route the audio through the speakers or turn off the headphone jack all together? BTW I'm running the Android N preview. Thanks!

Hi,
Please, I did do a number of searches!
I get sound through headphones and Bluetooth Car Kit, but I get no sound through the built in speaker, unless;
I push the USB speaker connector just part (not full) way into the socket. Sound is then normal through the built in speaker. Looks like a h/w issue and the unit is out of warrenty so any 'savage' suggestion for a fix would be appreciated.
Hey the sound through my diamond is not right when using headphones.
i was using an adaptor to plug in my normal headphones and the sound is all flangery through these. if i unplug the cables it plays through the speakers fine. i've tried using the htc headphones that came in the box also and sound only plays through the right ear phone but sounds normal.
This is since around the time i dropped the phone, so that may be why. Anyone now how this can be fixed?
Hi,
Whilst driving, I have my HTC One connected via a jack to jack audio cable into the car's AUX input to listen to music.
On the left side, my speaker is making a popping sound as if the car speaker is blown regarless of the volume set on the HTC.
I do not have this issue with my Samsung S3 or when playing a CD or listening to the radio.
I also do not seem to notice this when listing to music on the HTC using headphones. NFC is turned off as i read that this may be an issue.
Any idea's?
(PS. My phone also now has the Cracked Camera Glass issue so may just send it off to HTC if i cannot resolove this issue).
Does the audio cable have metal the extends perpendicular to the plug that might be grounding on the phone? Does pulling the wire out a tiny bit fix the issue?

Hi
I'm finaly got my nexus 7 connected to an amp so I can get sound out of it.
But when I have no volume on i get en hi noise like intense beeping.
And when i power off (turn of ignition) i get an loud bang in the speakers.
Im using timurs rom
and this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Behringer-U...uter_Recording_Interfaces&hash=item3a8574d60a
For USB to audio.
I've tried disconnecting the rca cables and than the biping sound goes away, but as soon as i connect it to the USB to audio i get the sound in my speakers.
Can it be an faulty unit?
Even though this phone has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, the audio output via the jack is terrible.
I have tested 3-4 different earphones as well as gaming headphones but still I'm disappointed.
Even on the loudest volume, the audio seems a bit on the low side.
Any solution for this ? or any workaround ?
Have you tried to push the hj all the way in?

Yes. Earphone fits perfectly in the jack. I said that the volume is low because I compared it with my cheap old phones. And the hj audio o/p was way better than nokia 7 plus.
It might be high volume warning. You don't see this popup if your screen is off and volume stays at the same low level. https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-automatically-disable-the-high-volume-warning-without-root/
