On the Note Pro. I mean after the source code now is released. What would it take and does anyone know if it is getting worked on? I would gladly pay some $ to get a clean Google version of Marshmallow.

I just bought a lumia 925, through ATT. Comes with 8.0. Update isn't giving me 8.1 yet.
I am wondering about installing the dev 8.1 rather than wait for ATT to get around to offering it.
1. Any downsides to installing dev 8.1 rather than waiting for ATT's 8.1?
2. I am thinking that installing dev 8.1 may give me the whole op sys, rather than a hobbled version from ATT (eg, the ATT 8.0 has Data Sense removed). Might this be correct?
Dev and final version are usually the same, but once the official comes out, you will updated to the final end user version of 8.1, along with the Lumia cyan update. But, on the other hand, the official release is so close, a matter of days/weeks, might as well wait. Not sure if dev version has the data sense app, but if that's what you want, flash the preview. Doesn't matter in the end since you'll be updated to the current version either way. Just less hassle waiting for the official release.

I don't mind waiting (really, I am not finding 8.0 as much of a problem as I expected it to be after reading all the raves about 8.1).
My interest is mostly in getting all that functionality that wp 8.1 has, and not have some of it stripped if I wait for update through ATT. It is my understanding that Datasense, for example, was removed by ATT. Perhaps other features also. I don't know.
So, if I can get Datasense, and whatever else might be missing from ATT version, I'll go for the dev version. If the update through normal channels will be the same as going for the dev version I'll wait. (Again, assuming that I am not letting myself in for other problems by having the dev version)
I updated to 8.1 today. Install of developer app, then 3, 8.1 updates. An d yes, it has data sense.
So far so good. no problems.
Good for you, buddy
Hi folks! If you're on T-Mobile and run Nougat 7.0, can you tell me how your device perform? It seems that 7.0 wasn't tested by T-Mobile so I'm bit concerned about issues once I make the jump. Please let me know. Thank you

I'm on t-mobile and have used all the lastest img from google web site without an issue.
Currently I'm on Dark rom 8/27 build with the latest radio 05.45R and still havent had an issue. you should be good to go if you update with factory img.

Did you get the OTA update or did you flash it? Also, how's your connectivity? I had bad experience in the past after updating. Thanks!
I'm on 7.1.2 Pure Nexus (N6) and just made the jump from Sprint today. My number was ported by T-Mobile within 2 hours and the service is MUCH better. As a bonus, I can now call and use data simultaneously. Not possible on Sprint.
I've been a sprint customer since the early 1990s. That just goes to show how stupid I am ?
7.0 (Build NBD92G) is the current T-mobile supported build (but they sure don't say that anywhere on their website). T-mobile pushed that build several months ago to users on stock devices. I figure T-mobile has EOLed the Nexus 6 6 months before Google did, so plan to side-load the final 7.1 build when it drops next month.

I just bought a new unlocked Nexus 6 from Amazon. I would not have intentionally updated past the OS officially supported by T-Mobile, but during the setup, I accidentally upgraded it to Nougat 7.1.1. So far it is working great. This is the first Google phone I have ever used, and I like not having all the Samsung apps that I never use. It may be my imagination, but it seems to be running better than the Note 4 I was using.

This could be because Samsung has their own custom ui overlay "touchwiz" its been known to cause lag especially when the device is older and the software is back ported.
T-mo users, have you tried the latest 7.1.1? Since we just got the last update, I'm about to side-load. Any known issues on T-mo? I assume N6F27M is the one to go with?
After updating ROM to Pie One Ui Beta I've problem with Google Pay & NFC payments. When I'm trying to add a new card Google Pay sais that phone has been rooted. How to fix this? Is this normal situation?

Because it's beta.
Flash again oreo and leave it.
Official pie release in one month or something anyway..
After upgrading to the beta, I cannot use Google Pay at all. It says something like software not verified.
Is there any possible workaround to this?

Question to add -
I upgraded to the OneUI 2.0 beta, to get onto Android 10 sooner, but when OneUI 2.0 is out of beta, will I be placed on the next beta release or will I just be converted to release software. I'd like to use Google Pay, but i can deal without until Android 10 is officially on the note 9

OP10PRO, NE2210->NE2211, Google Pay doesnt work.
Hi. I have a problem to add a Card to Google Pay. There is info "couldn't finish setup to pay in shops"...
forum.xda-developers.com
I read about it...
OnePlus team released A.14, then pulled back.. does not say why...
Then released A.15, which is a hotfix..
A.15 became test build as oneplus said which is probably why. So downgrade or wait for upcoming build will be the solution probably.
