About a week after I do a fresh install of a custom rom LP or KK everything crashes and force closes. First I get tons of force closes for gapps and android.media then I can't open any app at all. Then I have to reset and reinstall the ROM again. First week of fresh install everything goes fine though which I find kind of odd.
The logcat included is me trying to open the Google Play Store and then everything closes up.. If you can find any solutions please let me know
which rom are you using right now

Are you using correct gapps for your android version?
if you are not sure, i recommend to uninstall your gapps and install any of these: 5.1 gapps

Hi,
I'm running 5.1.1 AOSP rom and after flashing the opengapps nano gapps I've Google App with search, cards and **** (wasn't in PA nano gapps) and I don't like it.
I've try to froze him but after rebooting my phone I was on bootloop.
So if Anyone have an idea to remove this crap (not crap but I don't need it) it will be very helpful for me
Thanks !
it looks like you are using the google now launcher. if you delete the google search, the launcher will stop working . download any other launcher from play store and then you can delete the google search app.
edit. NVM. it looks like you arent using google now launcher since its not showing up in titanium backup.
just reflash the rom and install pico gapps . pico doesnt include the google search app.
Correct I'm using AOSP launcher 3 something like that
Can I have a list of what I will lose in pico from nano ?
Thanks
Hello guys,
As many of you has already experienced this problem with google apps, I think someone here could help me.
I had been using the resurrection remix OS for a while along with a friend, and two weeks ago, when we were still using Lollipop, we faced this problem after updating the google play services application(Unfortunately, Google Play services has stopped).
We managed to solve it with the recipe of uninstalling the latest updates directly on the app. However, when we updated for Marshmallow version of RR OS, the problem happened again. And unlike in the lollipop, we cannot find the way to directly uninstall the updates for the app.
Searched other methods in the XDA threads, Youtube, and found nothing to solve it. We already tried to give all permissions to google play services and other google apps, wipe cache and dalvik, clean cache, and nothing worked.
Someone here experiencing the same frustrating problem?
although I don't think the model of the phone has nothing to do with it, the problem happened in 4 cell with me and my friend, MOTO X-2014 XT1097, MOTOG2 XT1068, MOTO G-2013 XT1032 and MOTO E XT1514. Using the latest version of RR OS.
Don't know any other method or recipe to try, if someone could give me a light, so i can get back to using all google apps normally.
Thaks a lot in advance!
same problem here!
I was getting a few of those within the last week, I updated my Gapps (and CM), so far no errors, but still too early to tell for sure.
These are my current versions, so try updating your Gapps.

Most people that had this issue was directly related to Amplify and Limiting the icing wakelock. Not limiting it was the solution.

Thank you so much friend!
I disabled the icing wakelock block in the Amplify and the error seems to stop happening.
Hope it stays this way.
