Hi guys, you might not be familiar with me, so to cut it short, I'm a Dev, and I'm trying to help some of the users affected by the root released before. To be able to do this I need the files, which were erased from the post, and the "Dev" have not responded to my pm to share them with me.
Real users where affected by this, soft bricks all around, there's a good chance we can repaired this devices. But without the modified script there is no way of telling what happened to the device.
Anyone with the files please feel free to pm me.
Side note: maybe even on the process of fixing the device we could discover the needed root.

I sent him a PM, he either ignored it, or does not want to share with me the files. and as you can see im trying to see if anyoine at all has the files. We have a rare opurtunity with you, cause your device ran the root, and something did change, i just wish this "hackers/dev" dint run and hide each time they caused a booboo
I have to apologize to you termiti, the few devs here do not collaborate. They are territorial and a bit psycho. For that reason in between others I won't be able to help you. Now my friend, if you find the files, you know where to find me on IRC. and don't worry soon enough a sbf will come out and you might be able to restore the device.

Ok, guys as we know, there is a root ready for the Samsung S6, the only thing we need now in order to root the AT&T S6 is that someone dump the /boot partition or full ROM either from the phone or from Samsung Smart Switch.
So please post your ideas here or if someone has a friend working on at&t ask them for the ROM .
I already tried social engineering, smart switch and dump but here are my results:
Dump: I already dumped /system and build.prop but the only way to dump /boot is having root or having a new exploit to dump it.
Smart Swtich: As you know Kies was deprecated and now Smart Switch is the new tool to backup and reflash software on the S6. You can find the option in the right upper corner - more - Emergency recovery and Software Initialization. After trying to use the Update and Software Initialization option I got the message: SM-G920A does not support initialization. I put my phone in Odin mode (Download mode) and tried again but this time it asked me my model (SM-G920A) and serial number, after filling it the Smart Switch aplication suddenly closed.
Social engineering: Samsung told me that the only way to reflash my phone was physically sending my phone to tech repair and that smart switch could not be used to reinstall the software in my phone... He is wrong, so I submitted a new email with a screenshot of the option in Smart Switch.
So guys please your help trying to get this ROM or boot.img
You can download the Smart Switch application here:

Thanks @Sunderwear!

Or you could probably grab the image files off one of the computers at a Samsung Experience Shop? The computers have software used to troubleshooting and re-flashing devices.

Just ask them for the image files?
I don't live near a Samsung shop.
If any of you can do that we wil be really happy.

Yeah the kernel is ok. You can post the full rom later. Thanks a lot.
I believe he needs just the build.prop and the boot.img. Not sure though. Uploading the whole ROM would benefit everyone. You rock btw.
I updated the op including links for build.prop and /system. As soon as @Sunderwear share the link for the /boot we will have everything for root

Did you pull the boot.img yet?
I've just finished building SlimSaber for OP3 and I'm looking for beta testers.
Please reply only if you have experience with rom flashing, backup for the device is a must.
Who is up for it?
I'm in. PM me the link and I will test. Is this official build or unofficial?

Hi everyone,
Just few weeks ago I was following the "Uninstall Any System App Without Root Access" post and I accidentally delete Calendar Storage app. I have been searching for a long, but I don't find any non-root method.
As I'm in XDA, does anyone know any solution? I don't want to root again my device since in B386 I got problems and since today I do not have time to be fiddling.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.
You need to reflash rom or I can send you the apk on telegram @TwistedPrime.

Necro threading. But may I also have a copy of the apk? I deleted mine as well via adb and am hoping to restore it without root. Thank you!
