I have my nc rooted and im able to save files downloaded from tha defaulf browser but if i download something with dolphin browser for example, it asks me for the sd card. Is there a way to use the internal memory instead the sd?
In the Dolphin browser settings, just change the Download directory option to something like /media/download. /media is partition where user files are kept such as books & mags bought from B&N.
I changed that option but it still asks me for the sd card. I put /media/download
The only other thing I can suggest is to make sure that the Cache to SD option isn't on. But honestly, I have never tried the Dolphin browser without an SD card.

That cache option is disabled and its seems to be i just can't download anything without an sd card
I have the the same problem -- SD required for the stock browser, Dolphin HD and Miren. In Dolphin settings > download directory, I cannot change from the SD card.
I need to store certain things on internal memory (e.g. the amazon apk for the android store), but all browers I've tried REQUIRE downloads to go to SD. Any advice?
Hello everyone,
I am as green as they come when it comes to rooting.....but low and behold, I did root my sd card with Honeycomb and all apps pretty much work well.
My issue is that I copied books to the sd card to "My files" folder. When I go to look for it, the file is not there. If I connect sd card to the computer, every file it there.
Are there some files that are hidden on the NOok? If so, how do I access them?
Thanks in advance.
bump as no response yet. Thanks
Hey guys,
So I tried running CM7 off of my external SD card on my nook and it works beautifully!
However, I am little confused about how to go about storing files on the nook now. I understand that if I were to remove my SD card and reboot, the system would return to the vanilla OS?
I am looking to use CM7 as my main OS on the device and would like to place video, mp3 files, .epub files on it. How do I most easily accomplish this?
Can I still add files to the micro SD card, as long as I leave the image and boot file alone?
Thanks!!

Hi,i bought Ace 2 yesterday and i am trying to play some hd games on it,but i have a problem. If i put data directly on my sd card from my pc,it asks me to download the data via wifi on my phone memory. So i was wondering how can i make it download the games data on my sd card instead of the phone memory? And how can i run those games from sd card and not from the phone memory?
Please do not tell me to root my phone, cos before this one i had htc one v and wildfire s and all the games ran perfectly well from sd card and not from the phone memoryand it also downloaded all the data on the sd card...

sorry, but no. I imagine Amazon uses a similar technology like Netflix. you cannot access downloaded videos without root. those videos, which aren't gonna be in a mp4 or any video format anyway, are stored deep inside the amazon folder in the root system. you need root to access them.
