I've copied the list of features from an other 3D, but I think they meant multiwindows.
If you find it somewhere in settings, tell me
what are the optimization used to build for Z00A??
is any build time optimization are there like -03 and graphite and all others
i know it can be done in kernel very easily but being searching to do in all around the android OS i think that maybe give us some performance increase i used tio build rom with full sabermod optimization in my previous ARM device but really confused in intel x86 architecture also cant find any custom toolchain for x86
if any one with link or guide for x86 architecture will be very appreciable
thanks: )

I've not optimized the ROM for Z00A, optimization are in the ROM. If there aren't heavy bugs, in next build I might try to tweak it. For now (when the rom will be up again) please check actual performances and report me :good:

Many hours have been spent bringing you this release.
You may show your appreciation and support for our project by considering a small donation.
Your link is to the Galaxy Note 2. Having said that, very nice rom indeed. Probably worth mentioning whether or not the rom has the SDS and Exynos fixes built in. Thanks.
The big question: does this rom has the SDS (Sudden death Syndrome) fix implemented?
fixed the links.
this has the latest device tree, so it's going to have whatever fixes and issues are current with device trees in other AOSP roms like CM.

Rom has nothind to do with the SDS fix as we currently know. You must install a kernel with the fix and a recovery with the fix.
Is there a nfc fix for this Rom ?

The Rom comes with a Kernel, so it is valid question to ask. On the subject of Kernels, is the included Kernel optimised in anyway or is it simply the Kernel from CM?

yeah the rom comes with a built in kernel. if it doesnt come with it, i wouldnt have asked the question. so let us knw if the fix is implemented in the kernel which this rom has.
Isn't full linaro incompatible with exynos? I remember that's only possible to use the toolchain.

Lol absolutely incorrect. In fact linaro has a whole line of boarss they optimize named 'origenboard' that use the EXACT same smdk4412 chip used in ur i9300...meaning if anything the linaro optimizations will be felt to a GREATER extent on an exy phone than say...a qcom one...in theory.

This is maybe the smoothest Rom I have ever used! Thank you!
I have found two issues until now.
1) Nfc does not work
2) When i enable flash in camera and try to take a picture it force closes.

Right... I was considering he whole exynos world, but only exynos 4210 is compatible, meaning that the i9100 is out. tought that since the i9100 is incompatible the i9300 is too.
Is there any way to disable the hardware-buttons (menu, home, back) if I only want to use the softscreen ones?

ARM? ARM64? x86
Also if possible a link to explain the different between pico, nano, micro, etc.
I've got a feeling aroma is the best where you can choose which one you want. Only I'm afraid I will un-choose something necessary.
Platform: ARM
and Android: 5.1
Variation leave everybody itself.
I myself pico.
Downloaded and am installing this now after issues with CM 12.1 and LTE. I will report back with any issues.

I tried too and asked a similar question in the original thread. However, nobody reported success with a custom kernel. To be fair though, the build is working really, really well and I, for one, am just celebrating having a working Slim for the S5.
UPDATE: The Ktoonze AOSP kernel works
I used this rom all weekend with 0 issues. Everything worked as it should. Battery life was outstanding. The only hiccup I encountered was that I was unable to remove programs (browser, messenger, live wallpapers) via titanium. It says they are removed, but the icons are still there, the programs still launch, and when i go back into titanium the programs are there. Not a big deal just found it odd. Huge thumbs up!

This Rom is amazing! Battery life and the smoothness! However I got bootloop when I flashed boeffla kernel CM12.1. Is it the ROM or the kernel have issues? I don't want to try KT because i'ts very old build.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first created based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean because of curiosity. In the early days, it was just a one man show on one device (EVO 3D). However, many others have joined the project since and it has grown a lot. We have seen a wide variety of talent contribute to this project of ours and many of our contributors have gone on to help other projects, and that is ultimately why we do what we do.
Once Jelly Bean was over, we decided in Kitkat to move to a new base, which was OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting because it challenged us to see what we could with something different.
With Lollipop, we have moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. With that said, it has been an awesome learning experience and it's still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward.
Few more things we will say is that we don't accept nor ask for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc.....
All we do ask is that you search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!
Flashing Instructions:
Code:
- Verify that you're using the latest version of TWRP
- Perform a FULL WIPE as described below
(A full wipe is when you wipe system/data/cache/dalvik)
- Flash the latest version of this ROM
- Flash GAPPS
- Reboot and ENJOY!!

What about the audio playback issue in music player? And also the video playback issue in youtube? Is both issuse solved?
I installed the previous DU 10.5 in which Poweramp Music Player doesn't work. Will this have same issue. If someone using Poweramp on this please confirm me. Also the boot animation in DU 10.5 is very large which looks odd. It have normal boot animation?
@jhenrique09
Hey man, did you build this?
In assuming so can I ask you if that YouTube bug still exists?
I love DU
@jhenrique09 So is this another 2nd unofficial DU or did you take over from @ npjohnson.
Thank you.
I will look more closely at the problem of youtube and poweramp, and give a final position will be fixed or not

This build doesn't have YouTube bug. This bug is the only one thing I have tried, but I think this ROM is stable.

That's great, thanks!
I tested the rom all morning watching videos on youtube and also listening in the poweramp, no bug appeared. I think it was a problem of 10.5, in 10.6 does not appear any problems.
I resized the size of boot animation for the default resolution of the device (720x1280), here is the link of the flashable zip: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_dmjpgzVprXcTBkaWUtVlo4eUE
I will include this change in compilation of today and I will re-upload the rom
**EDIT: Build of 13 september is up: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=111492
Working very very well, Im super happy with this.
Thanks Bud

OK, its pretty simple so I'm not gonna fill up the page with useless junk,
this source is pure caf and some code is modified with some optimization/device/substratum commits.
The Aim is to keep it as close to AOSP as possible,
if you want any features added go to the plenty of other ROMs available.
This is for folks like me who want a clean rom as close to pure aosp as possible.
What's CodeAurora Forums ?
Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. Software projects it concerns itself with are e.g. Android for MSM, Femto Linux Project, LLVM, MSM WLAN and Linux-MSM. Code Aurora is basically AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.

What is better than Screw'd AOSP or COSMIC-OS?
Awesome ROM
I've been using this ROM for about a day now so it may be a little early to judge but I think this ROM is pretty awesome and stable and contains all the customizations I'd ever need and even more! I personally love the gesture anywhere!
So thanks to our awesome dev for this great ROM. I'd suggest users here to definitely try this ROM out.

I think it's kinda rude to compare ROMs like this on this thread. Why not make a separate thread or a poll or best, try it out for yourself.

Ok thanks in advance
What about multitouch issue?
Multitouch isn't an issue for me (at least pinchzoom works) but scrollable widgets won't work for me either in Nova or in Google launchers
battery charging is very slow
Thank you for hard work....By my experience I can say this best oreo rom so far stable performance & good battery life ......there one bug when I try to connect to tv ( cast in status bar ) it doesn't connecting hope you fixed in next update
Hello, after replacing the good looking but unstable crdroid with this, I must say I am pleased - Smooth, stable, and battery life is OK. I tweaked the max frequencies with Kernel Adiutor, so I get even more screen time. Great work, thank you.
Sexy ROM Developer. Abhi tak jitni ROM chalai hain sabme multitasking dhang se nahi hoti. Sirf AOSP Extended aur iss rom me badhia multitasking hai. Please just ek request hai charging alowly ho rahi hai balki lockscreen me likha bhi aa rha hai slowly. Please ek patch iske liye nikal do. Ehsaan rahega. Thanks..
