There was a bad commit in the CM source. It's been reverted, running new builds now. If you're using a p3113 the 6.12 build works well, if not new downloads will be available this weekend.
I will test the new build soon and provide feedback!
hope it will defeat some roms...
This would be compatible with 10.1 series as well, OP can update?

I will look into it. These take between 5 and 13 hours to compile on my old laptop(each), so 2 devices is already a big time commitment. However, I don't plan on building "nightlies", so I'll look into supporting my 10 inch borthers/sisters anyways.

That's great to hear. The 6.13 p3113 build has a nasty bug (as shown above), glad to hear one of them came out.
MOVING FORWARD:
I plan to build these as quickly as I can until it's as stable and bug free as I can get it, after which I'll probably only run updates bi-weekly. I really love this ROM, but it's a pain in the ass to build and I'm working with a very dated computer so please be patient. :good:
Work fine in p5110
Nice work, dude! Thank you for the new rom.
Everything works fine on the P3100.
No problems have been found yet .
I think that the update once a week , it is a good idea .
We are waiting your new builds )
Good luck !!!

I don't believe so, but I haven't tried it myself to know for certain. It's just an unmodified CM13 kernel, so I doubt it, but IF it's possible it would be in "Settings>>Kernel Adiutor>>CPU"

I don't see why it wouldn't be. I test with 3.0.0-0 because the newer ROMS build with a device name of "esspresso[wifi/3g]" and 3.0.1+ (afaik) doesnt support the old device names (p31xx) breaking backwards compatibility. 3.0.1+ will install espresso ROMS, 2.9x and older does p3xx ROMS, 3.0.0-0 is the newest 'old' recovery that does both, which I need.
I'll test it against the current TWRP this week.

Beanstalk and TWRP both have built-in Terminal emulators.
Be sure you did a full wipe of Dalvik, System and Data. And the ROM matches your device, as that's the most common problem.
** edit: I see you worked it out. Hope you enjoy.

I flashed the 20160402 build and Slim Gapps on my p3110 with TWRP 3.0.0.1 and it boots OK. The Rom seems working fine. Back botton kill app don't work and I don't like bootanimaton in landscape mode, but it's cosmetic. Great work. Good to see other options for the old tablet. Thank you so much

By far the fastest and most stable 10.2 ROM I've flashed.
CM power widget and brightness slider in the notification pulldown, plus a lockscreen torch would make this a daily driver for me.
For now, I'm back to carbon 10.1 build - if the above are implemented, I would definitely be back.
This ROM has the speed of sentinel but looks and feels better.
Good work fellas, I'm very impressed

We don't include it afaik, it just uses the cm one, and if cm doesn't include it, then it's the stock one.
We don't do anything to it though.

What are you calling lightweighted? Your Rom file has the same size than other cm/aosp ones, and list of features is more or less the same than Temasek's one, slimrom, crdroid.
More choice is better than less btw.

its lightweight by the means it runs very well on older devices, more is good to an extent, but too much can get in the way of getting work done and can become overwhelming. its trying to offer the latest without any lag or stability issues. temasek, simrom, and crdroid arent available to a huge variety of devices. we are taking ideas from slim, paranoid, and such roms to make one united rom that does not clog or slow down over time of use.
New server!
We got response for our new build server! Waiting for access credentials to connect to it...
The new one will be basketbuild. This also means that v1 is closer than ever...

Booted just fine. Viper still does not work and weather forecast location settings are nowhere to be found. I'll play with for a bit and report back. Thanks for your work, GrinningFerret
Build works like a charm but I wouldn't mind Doze..
@up : you only need to change the SE policy to permissive in order for viper to work
Edit: @OPhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=225651 : don't forget to mention the quickboot bug and could you post the Carbon ROM changelog for the sanctity of laziness?
Damn, I wasn't listening to music on my phone for like 3 weeks because of that, I wonder how I could miss this relation when I changed rom. Anyways, thank you, I owe you
@up
But on my ROM it was always permissive, and some stated that it still doesn't work ^^

Dunno, last time on your RR (somewhere at the beginning of the month) it worked but was glitching sound, on Ferret's it worked properly (also old build) but on optimized cm it did not work at all (newer build).
After changing mode it finally works. I'll be delighted to check this out when (if) your new build is up
Sorry for OT.
Rom runs smooth, but haven't test it out heavily yet. Ram management seems to be alright for now

Well I was busy with school for awhile and I've been busy with family and getting my car fixed and stuff but I'm hoping to work on my Blisspop ROM in the morning(about 9 hours from now) and hopefully have an initial test build by Thursday or Friday.
My friend kinda stopped his development on liquid smooth as far as I know but I do intend to start off where he left off as soon as I can. When I get my initial builds of the ROMS I'm gonna need help figuring out how to fix bugs and stuff because I don't have experience in that but I am willing to learn. Any help will be appreciated. Also I was wondering is there a fix for the no focusing on the camera when not on stock ROM? It really kills the pic quality.
I am on d415. I noticed the OP says something about a patch. I use a patch3 zip every time I flash a new nightly. Does this mean I can use it with any of the variants, even the lollipop builds, like this ROM, and it will work?
I asked about the patch in a different post and someone mentioned it was some kind of kernel and doesn't work with cm12. Is there more than one kernel for the d415?

Everything is running great. Anyone having a problem getting GPS lock. I even backed up, restored a stock sense ROM,opened maps after good lock, rebooted back into recovery and restored this. Still can't get a lock. ?
Please and thanks beforehand. Thanks Scott, for bringing this back, I've ran your builds since my S4 yrs ago. Nothing even touches what you put together .

Just wanted to chime in to say a huge thank you to @scott.hart.bti and @fizbanrapper for developing and building this ROM (and the Team M8 kernel is amazing). I just installed the ROM, and it's running great so far.
Oh yea.... Nice to see the beanstalk goodness being spread this holiday season...
New build is posted! No boot animation on this one. Probably something I did. I'll try to fix it for the next build. I've also started uploading builds to the official BeanStalk site.

The only feature i miss is traffic meter, can we have it soon?
btw the rom is rock stable for me as daily thanks
what about superUser, what version this build has. Since the new supersu has fixes for all root access to all apps

I'll have to play with it, but at first glance it looks like something was moved in one of the ROM repos and might work perfectly fine after I make another clean build.

So you may be wondering why there are two Chroma threads in this subforum.
The reason why I build my own build of Chroma is because I am not satisfied with the existing build in XDA, it doesn't have an enforcing SELinux, doesn't have bootanimation included, etc.
I really loved Chroma when I was using a Nexus 4, so I want the same experience that I used to have on that phone, so I would build my ROM as close to the official build as I can.
About the thread, apparently I cannot post my build on the other thread, so I'm creating a new thread to keep you guys updated and discuss about my builds. Hopefully you'd enjoy using my build!

Do you mean /sdcard should be pointing to external sdcard instead of internal? Does it behave like that on Stock ROM? Because I don't have a sprout4 device to test to.
I think I have found a fix for this. But please confirm if what I'm thinking is correct.

Flashed the ROM:
Blank white screen on Settings>Personalization>Chroma>Lock screen>Carrier Label. This also happens on the other builds though.

may i ask something about the data connection, why is it we have to turn on and off the airplane mode just to connect to data connection? why is it happening and whats the cause of it? is there any fix you can do about this...
thanks!

Amazing!!! Smartbar/Fling on my old tab 2!
P5113 and the BeanStalk
It's not a fairy tale any more ...
This is the fastest ROM that I've ever run on my tablet (since my adventures in over clocking with Dhollmen and KitKat).
I'm still discovering all the features available in this amazing flavor of Marshmallow (there are just so many), but l just wanted to drop in and thank @CodyTXR0KR for sharing this build with the P51XX side of the GT2 family.
Thanks.
I've installed this rom yesterday (clean flash) on P5100 and unfortunately it's very, very slow Everywhere are massive lags and tab's response is tragic
After flashing dholmen kernel and apllying OC tab is now usable.

Very strange. Some people report the same problem as me. At first mobile data works but after a while it stops working. No mateer what i do, i can't get it to work anymore (delete APN, airplane mode, reboot etc etc). I'm trying to make a log on the moment this error appears but that's not so simple it seems. i have no problems on stock and a few LP roms i've tried.
Thank you for the job!
For full happiness could me see some screenshots?
After installing this rom, my 5113 charges fine. But after i installed Dholmen kernel it stops charging properly.
