New ExtROM 1.22.170 WWE for Orange France for SPV M2000

Hi there!
I got from a friend working at France Telecom in Paris this extended ROM for the french SPV M2000.
The ROM is in WWE and supports the AZERTY keyboard built-in. It has the latest Bluetooth patches and all customizations for Orange France (network settings, MMS settings, Button 9, etc.)
Unfortunately, this ROM won't be available for Orange custumers because of French laws (I believe because of "Loi Toubon", stupid law to protect the French language). It's an internal release for France Telecom.
I'm uploading right now the zip file at this address:

I've seen a couple of interesting things in this ExtROM, like a patch for battery life, some registry modifications for Bluetooth and GRPS, the hardware AZERTY keyboard is now supported with a WWE ROM -as with my keyboard patch- and you can choose now a connection to Orange World or a connection to Orange WAP. The default connection is Orange World.
I have installed yesterday night and I'm pretty happy with it. I hope you will enjoy it also.

En effet, cette ROM est meilleure que la ROM proposeé en Belgique par Dangaard (1.22 557): Son Bluetooth d'haute qualité, le problème avec le micro reglé aussi, la gestion de l'utilisation de la baterie, les paramètres de connexion à orange, le clavier en français et je suis sur que je n'ai pas tout vu encore. Bonheur!

:roll: Oops, I was so exited I forgot to post in English. This ROM is just great. BT High Quality sound, the problem I had with the microphone is gone, the battery life is better, all GPRS, WAP and MMS settings, the keyboard patch and probably other things I haven't notice yet.

Aahhh,but the big question is...... does it work on pda2k with the U.S carriers? I am on cingular, and I don't want to screw anything up. 8)

Well, I don't see a major interest in using this rom with mobiles other than Orange (france), unless you delete the customized cabs for Orange (Orange_WWE_Customize.sa_041203.CAB and Button9.CAB)

SPV M2000 Swiss
Do you think I could install on a Swiss Orange (German) M2000?
Country code errors? etc...

what is exactly Button9.cab ?

Button9.CAB sets the button 9 of your phone (the one with the Internet Explorer logo on your built-in hardware keyboard) to access directly to http:\\www.orange.fr\ site
If you go to the "Settings" menu and you click on Buttons, you'll see that Button 9 is assigned to "orange"

Hi there,
It's now more than a week I'm using this version for Orange France. I just wanted to tell you it's really a very good version.
Many of my previous problems have completely disapperared. If you have a SPV M2000, your operator is Orange France and you like a version in English, I highly recommend this ExtROM.

Free HTC Trinity SIM & CID Unlocker Available

This is a patched radio ROM that can be used to remove the Operator SIM lock and CID lock from HTC Trinity based telephones.
It can be used in all HTC Trinity devices, no matter which bootloader version or radio bootloader version the device is running.

Install Instructions:
Easy auto-install Instructions:
Unzip unlocker and run AUTO_Unlock_v1.bat
If you don't want to install automatically, or for some reason the process doesn't work for you, here are the manual instructions:
Transfer SSPL/SSPL-TRIN.exe to your phone and run it
Tri-color screen will appear
Disable activesync (file -> connection settings -> uncheck "allow USB connections")
Connect your phone to your computer using the USB lead.
Run RUU/ROMUpgradeUtility.exe
Follow the flashing process (Check the "I understand..." and "I completed..." boxes and update!)
Allow your phone to reboot.
Transfer TRIN_Unlock_v1.exe program to your phone and run it
Click the Unlock Button, select unlock option. Select if you want SIM/CID unlock.
Click "Unlock!" and wait until process finishes.
When done, turn off your phone for 10 seconds and reboot after that.
Please Note: It is *highly recommended* to flash a full rom after using the unlocker.

Technically I don't kwow what imei-check commercial unlocker exactly does on Trinity, but the result should be the same with both unlockers.

Tu "unlocker" parece permite de poner en mi P3600 comprado en francia la ultima rom de DopodAsia 1.23 WWE puesta en este foro sin problemas ?
Es eso o me equivoco ?
Para emplear este "unlocker" tengo que decompactar el zip en my ordenador syncronisado con el P3600 y despues , el se cargar todo solo en el P3600 o tengo que poner el "unlocker" decompactado en el P3600.

Do I need to unlock CID to unlock SIM? Also, can I lock the CID again? And finally, how can I backup my radio rom, unlock, and then flash the old radio rom again without CID unlock?

Yes... you can flash anything and it will still be unlocked.

No, you can check only "sim unlock" if you don't want to CID unlock.

No, once you check "cid unlock" it will be SuperCID forever. Don't check this option if you don't want to cid unlock.

You can't backup your radio rom, but you can flash another radio rom using SSPL after unlocking.

in my computer and with activesync the unlocker go to my P3600 ?
- If i understand with this unlocker it's possible for mi, to put the new rom of DopodAsia 1.23 in my P3600 buy in france and next one month later put
the new official french rom of HTC ?
Please answer mi if all this is possible with this unlockeur

Unfortunatly my Trinity is in Portuguese, so there is no rom available to flash again, to put the phone in it's original state So, my idea is to unlock it and then restore the radio rom. But I can't see any radio rom available on the ftp server

Use ExtROM unlocker for Hermes (HermesMountAllROM.cab), it works on trinity also. Device must be SuperCID.

Use NBHExtract to extract GSM.nb from full rom, then use NBHgen to make NBH with radio only. Flash using SSPL-Trin.

User experiences using free unlocker
Has anybody else used this free unlocker? Did it worked well? Especially I would like to know if anybody has used it in north europe/nordic countries (I have bought my p3600 from Finland).

J'ai le même problème; pour moi, avec Rom Faman : il ne faut pas mettre mot de passe si non toujours ce probème

That also happened to me. I solved it by making a hard reset as I couldn't find any solution I read somewhere that that's a wm6 bug
Since then I don't have password on my p3600

Hi, I too have the same problem. It happened after I removed a dialer that I had installed - now everytime that I set a password and switch off my M700 it won't let me back in because my password is wrong! Any ideas gratefully received! Thanks.

since few days, the French Opérator 'Free' propose to use à new type of connexion who using 'EAP-SIM' (802.1x EAP).
I have MIUI 2.0 (2.3.30), but it seems that this ROM doesn't have the 'SIM' EAP method?
Someone could confirm that ? And if this fonctionnallity doesn't exits, someone know if a patch/fix can add this type of sécurity ?

secondly, have you tried upgrading your phone to the latest version of firmware
personally i would take the phone back to the shop i bought it from as it looks like the phone may have a fault and should be replaced under warranty
