Stuck at " recovery not Seandroid enforcing" after root n9208 - Galaxy Note5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys I have the latest firmware installed ( see screenshot) whenever I try to obtain root via chain fires autoroot or through custom kernel for n9208 my phone gets stuck at bootloader. Is there any way to fix this.
Ps the crom services app always force closes . And I followed every step on root tutorials

Hi, i got same problem with new firmware update, lost my root and tried to root again with chainfire autoroot, but didnt work, tried a couple of times...no luck, at this step i still can boot android, then tried flash xiaolu kernel...at this step i got boot loop, both space kernel also failed to boot, so if you havent flash any kernel with odin, you still can boot after flashing twrp recovery, but if you already messed with kernel, there no way to to fix it...better flassh new firmware, and use stock until someone can find a way to root 5.1.1, hope its help...

Isn't there a way we can simply downgrade to the last rootable firmware?

if you're on the latest firmware, i recall having to install the AOK2 bootloader to root my N9208 using the original root methods (not the Systemlesss Root method). check the TWRP thread for details. The situation may have changed, but when i upgraded my firmware to AOL1, i had to downgrade the bootloader to AOK2 to regain root.

How did you downgraded your boot loader? I am sorry but I'm really new to galaxy development.
PS is it safe to flash a firmware from December over my current version which is from march

check the TWRP thread for details and links to downgrade the bootloader. please note/remember, i downgraded from AOL1 to AOK2. not sure if this works with any firmware newer than AOL1. in my case, i reflashed the AOL1 firmware, then downgraded/flashed the AOK2 bootloader and then rooted using the original 9208 root method.

[Q] Flashing Back to Stock Assistance Please?

Hey guys,
I purchased the Galaxy S5 back in April and now I am selling it so that I can purchase the LG G3. The problem is I'm trying to flash back to stock with Odin and it won't work. I downloaded the stock firmware from Sammobile and loaded it into Odin, put my phone in download mode and hit start and it says "fail." I can't get it to flash. I'm rooted but I haven't installed a recovery or custom rom. Any guidance would really help. I have no idea why I'm getting fail errors.

I remember on previous Galaxy S versions that if you took the OTA update it prevented you from flashing custom roms of flashing back to stock. But I haven't taken an OTA update or anything so I can't figure out why it keeps saying fail? Do you think I need to re-enable knox? If so, can I do that in Supersu? Or is there another problem? Any guidance would really help.

[Q] Major help needed with lollipop root

Hi Everyone
I have updated my note 3 to the lollipop version found on this thread using Odin: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-att/general/100-stock-lollipop-5-0-n900aucueoc1-t3069609
I'm now totally lost as to how i would go about rooting so that i can either flash a custom rom, or remove bloatware etc. I have rooted several devices before, but all the different note 3 models is whats got me lost and frustrated. My goal is to have safestrap (or something similar) installed, along with a recovery of some sort (cwm etc)
Does anyone have some clear and concise instructions as to how to root this device and flash rom's afterwards
Thanks for any help i get guys, sorry to be a pain

Odin back to NC2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54803130&postcount=136 Then root it, install Busybox and Safstrap. If you want Rooted Lollipop still "OC1 Stock Rooted Very Easy Procedure" http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59666958&postcount=2 Safestrap is your only recovery, no CWM or TWRP it's an AT&T phone so the Bootloader is locked.

Help rooting?

Hello all,
Im totally confused as to how to go about rooting my device c6902. Ive owned a couple of android devices and Ive rooted them all, however....with this device and there seem to be different ways people have rooted from reading the threads and im totally confused, So far I have unlocked the bootloader, and upgraded the device OTA to lollipop .242 (before the bootloader was unlocked), I dont intend installing any custom firmware, just want root so I can use TB and maybe delete a few bloatwares with root explorer and use xposed.
Im confused as to whether:
1. I have to downgrade firmware to kitkat, just to get root, then upgrade back to official firmware?
2. Ive been under the impression that a custom recovery and supersu, is enough to get root. It doesnt work that way on this device?
3. I saw some oneclick root programs that worked on the z1 compact would any work here
Just trying to know more about the phone and understand, so any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Using the guide on the link I just posted, you are not required to unlock the bootloader, unlocking the bootloader without backing up the TA partition can cause problems with your phone.
You need to downgrade to KitKat 4.4.4 with kernel 108, then root it with easyroot install supersu and rootchecker to make sure your phone is rooted, the use NUTs recovery to create a recovery partition, after that search XDA forums for a pre-rooted lollipop flashable zip and install that, and voila you should be on lollipop with root and recovery.
I am not sure about one-click root programs.

SM-N910T, DOK2, BeastMode - "Normal" Root

I have the SM-N910T previously stock kernel rooted on v5.0.1.
I understand I can't root with the stock kernel so I installed v5.1.1 with stock kernel, TWRP, and "System-less" root with CF-Auto-Root.
I found some issues with Titanium so I decided to install BeastMode Kernel v1.9.2. I re-rooted and it is still "system-less" and the option to install su to System is dimmed out.
From within SuperSU, I selected the uninstall to reinstall from Google Play option. It rebooted and prompted that the binary needed to be updated but the update fails.
I'm confused...how do I install the "normal" root and not the system-less?
Thanks.
You can't do normal root on dok2 bootloader. And since you are already on the dok2 bootloader, you can no longer downgrade below that. The latest bootloader that uses normal root is cog2.

Request help in rooting ATT Note 3

Hello, I have a ATT Note 3 Android 4.4.4 , (baseband version N900AUCUDNL1), (Kernel 3.4.0-3032228). I followed the directions of each rooting method. I have ran Kingo root method and ran Odin v.309 and v.3.10 root method several times and both these rooting methods have FAILED. Can anyone please help and advise me on how to root and install a recovery on this device. I appreciate any help.
I'm not 100% sure but I believe you need to be on NC2 in order to root.

Towleroot doesn't work on 4.4.4 you need to back date to 4.4.2 kk then towleroot will work install busybox and j. Rummy root checker, safestrap 3.75 install ST mind you it will say not active until you install a custom rom in one of the slots I believe you can just activate slot one without installing a rom and it'll put safestrap in a active State. Droidveiws is a good place to get the 4.4.2 firmware get the AP BL CP files the install via doing 3.09 it's simple. Me personally I like kk better than lollipop.
