I've found that the Nexus 5x and the LG G4 share almost the same hardware. How difficult would it be to port N to the H811?

Not until the note 8 is officially available for everyone. It is still not shipped. In a month probably a port will be available for sure.
Recently I've seen one of xiaomi phone got Samsung experience rom 9.5 port. Now I can hope it's possible for oneplus3T

Its not that easy to port other manufacturers roms it very difficult and hard process . May be someday we get it.
But i am hoping for just 6T or 5T ports for our 3T.
