hi...it is possible to add the carrier id on the left status bar?? like the lock screen on the xt1103 does it need to edit the system.ui?
thanks.....
Assuming you're referring to stock rom then the only option I've seen is and xposed module. Otherwise there are custom roms with this feature and more.
Yeah is for stock ROM.....was just wondering if possible by decompilling the system.ui......
You would need to edit like 5 apks to make it work and your best bet would be to do it from source. Lots of ripping apart and searching.

Hi, does anyone know of the way or have a patch to remove the battery icon from the taskbar?
not the best way but you could change alll the stat_sys_battery_xxx pngs in framewrk to transparent. it will leave a gap in the notification bar though.
Yeah, I thought of that or possibly just putting an icon of something else there, but looking for a way of doing it right. Thanks though
Okay, I know now you need to edit the 'services.jar' within the framework folder, but just need to find the right .smali file and then the right line of code.
This guy has done it for the CDMA Hero - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=691250&highlight=stock+aosp
Does any experienced guy out there know how to use 'diff' on linux to see what the differences would be between his 'services.jar' and say one from the stock AOSP GSM?
Good morning guys,
I recently installed this custom rom . Everything seems to be fine, I hide the status bar with the Launcher Pro (it just show up inside the menu and the lockscreen). Now I would like to remove the status bar on the lockscreen and add another battery widget.
I already found this thread. Are there any further information about this?
Greetings

One easy way would be to use an app, You can use a number of lock screen apps they offer features you are after
Ive used this one in the past http://www.appbrain.com/app/widgetlocker-lockscreen/com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker
Yeah, that would be another way but I like the lockscreen, just want to remove the status bar on the top.
Well try to contact the custom rom designer, perhaps he can do it for me
Edit
Spoke with the developer and it's not possible with his rom .. so this thread can be closed
There's a thread on this already. >>> Here <<<
omg
Thanks a lot
Hi,
on my Xperia S there was no stock quickpanelz so I used the 'Notification Toggle' app to help out and I was quite happy with it because there were many options to modify the setup.
I miss that option a lot on the stock quickpanel here, specially the option to change the order of the quickpanel, so that I can have the ones I use most right at the beginning. Is there a way to do that?
Or is there a way to turn off the quickpanel to replace it with that other app one?

follow my T/TX signature link to find a nice 14 notification panel mod that an be used.
So I want a combined menu bar at the bottom with the buttons. I don't want a new rom, I don't want a new kernel, and yes, I have a locked bootloader.
I am however willing to flash zips and replace system apps.
Well, it's certainly possible to have the icons, etc in the statusbar in the navbar. In theory, at least.
But you'll need to do some smali editing, I would have thought, to get the rest of the mod. You need to remove the statusbar entirely and have the pulldown screen appear when you swipe up from the navbar.
I know nothing about smali sadly, but it's certainly theoretically possible.

..Have you tried Tickle My Android yet?

search for a launcher
u can do this;
use another launcher
hide notification bar
and add icon of activities that u need in a page of dock
Or search for small app that gives u some setting

I found this picture on stuff.tv and after digging through everything I can possibly find to use to customize my homescreen on Android Lollipop, I'm honestly not sure if there's anything that lets you change the status bar and soft keys in this particular way.

So is it a mock-up? Or is there actually something like this out there? Anyone have a clue?
My apologies if this is the wrong forum for this, I'm not sure where else it would fall under
That's possible, I've been out of the game for too long now so there's probably newer easier ways that I know nothing about but it looks like tablet mode on paranoid android rom to get the bottom status bar with the rest built using something like Zooper or klwp etc etc
Am I showing my age mentioning pa or is it still going?
