It has the beloved Touchwiz Lockscreen with epic particle effects.
It has the cool looking Touchwiz notification bar.
If you don't like the Google Keyboard then you can switch to the Samsung Keyboard
It has the stock settings app so that it is possible for you to access all the Samsung Touchwiz Features.
It also includes the Samsung Dialer and Contacts and Gallery
Plus I have extracted the system ui from the galaxy s7
There are no known bugs on the ROM. Please report to me if you find any.
I highly recommend this ROM as your daily driver.
Would love it if I could get some assistance!
BTW the ROM will get a special feature soon. I may introduce the new always on feature on the Samsung Galaxy s7 if I get enough votes.
I will also consider adding other features you may request.

5. Boot into recovery and click restore.
6. There you will see the ROM name Google Touchwiz ROM Final.
Then restore it.
7. Now go and factory reset and clear dalvik cache.!
8.Your Done!
Sorry about the long process. Still don't know how to compile Roms into a flashable form. Also first boot takes a while! As Said above it runs on Android Marshmallow.
Also make a backup in case things don't work out.
Note: If you tap the Android version 5 times you will get the lollipop Easter egg because Marshmallow doesn't have one so I restored the lollipop Easter egg.
Also would be very happy if someone could build a custom kernel for the A5 2015. Also turn on seeder if it lags a bit. The app feeds the entropy pool to prevent it from finishing. This reduces some lag.

A5 as stated. @Skulldron the backup folder you posted will not exist. Each device has its own ID.

Since this is based on Marshmallow, could you please try and include the new Samsung Good Lock app in the package? And also, could you please change the way the notification panel and make it look like the stock Google notification panel? Or maybe just change the settings panel to make it look like the new updated Touchwiz settings panel?
Also try and include the Phone and Contacts app if possible. Thanks.

theme store included?
It used to exist but doesn't work so I terminated it and also because themes don't work on the new Touchwiz Home. Also it works on all variants as I said above. Eg: A500F A500FU A500G A500H etc.
The backup folder name will vary but it will be inside a folder called TWRP and the ROM has to be placed inside the 2nd Folder
Avigyan04 I'll try but it is difficult because of compatibility issues. However if you want I can add the always on feature from the s7. It will drain about 3-5℅ per hour on standby as the battery on the a 5 is smaller than the s7.

Wifi problm occurs for me too.. Wifi not turning on
Everyone Did you make a backup. If you did it is safe to restore the data. Guys follow these steps to fix wifi.
1. Root your phone
2. Download Root Explorer.apk, put it on your phone via USB, install it
3. navigate to either /data/misc/wifi or /system/etc/wifi
4. rename or delete wpa_supplicant.conf
4.5. reboot
Always on Feature will be added soon.
And will try for stock contacts.

Also, I have WiFi problems also with other stock based rom. Is this like a universal method or just for this Rom?
Secondly?, do I have to root my phone once rom is installed? Is this rom pre rooted?

I found and ported some of the ROM with Great Ui (I think ) but LiGux is more stable, I do with rootzwiki method and your method I even combine the two ways that can boot, but I found an error in acore (Force Close) .. can you help me?

i hope this helps... u can find a lot to this error on google + answers
Really easy, this will fix either android.process.acore force closing or google.services.framework force closing.
WARNING!: This will wipe contacts. It seems acore fc's when there are corrupted contacts. Usually by restoring contacts on an incompatible ROM....
And will temporarily wipe market list. So backup your contacts!
Step by step:
0. Make sure Sync is off, leave it off for some time!
1. Go into settings
2. Select Applications
3. Select Manage Applications
4. (If you are on 2.2) Select the All tab
5. Scroll down until you find Contacts Storage (select it).
6. Wipe data+clear cache(If available)
7. Hit back
8. Scroll down until you find Google Services Framework (select it)
9. Wipe data+clear cache (if available)
10. Reboot and enjoy
11. (optional) Enable Sync again
Enable sync again when your convinced that the error has gone.
If this works for you, can you reply stating what ROM your on? (Eg, Stock 2.2, Cyanogenmod 5.08, MIUI 0.9.24, etc)
Or if it doesn't work for you, do the same thing?

It can be caused by corrupted database entiries in ANY of the syncs, Gmail, Calender, etc, but I've found contacts are the most likely culprits. This is a band-aid solution, if the problem is reappearing than there is probably something wrong with the source data being synced. Or an external application trying to do modifications (eg, a custom contacts application).
If you don't want to wipe all contacts:

I have tested this rom is very fast and very intuitive interface, but only ask that you can use phone.apk .. is all we would ask apart from some bugs that I believe will also have, but it is very fast and pretty.
I hope that soon you can use to make calls thanks and good job

I try some 3rd app like xperiadialer, dialer2.2, phone from other galaxy's phone , phone.apk from original LiGux and other LiGux version, etc but All were unsuccessful...
what there may be other 3rd app that works? (I hope )

Presenting MIUIv4 2.10.26 Jellybean (4.1.2) (unofficial) Read this post entirely before using the ROM or asking any questions!
Firstly, this ROM uses my CM10 as base.
This ROM has been ported from samsung galaxy nexus official. The MIUI team deserves all credit.
Details of the ROM:
Tested with CWM recovery touch 5.0.2.8.
No Multilanguage support.
Does not come with gapps, you need to flash it separately.

Tips on using the ROM:
Camera:
If you are not satisfied with the quality and performance of the stock camera app, "Camera jb+"(from playstore). And use videocam illusion pro for recording videos.(Again from playstore). It will produce better quality images.
Superuser:
Before installing anything, first activate root permission from 'LBE Guard' app in 'Security Center' folder. Select 'manage root permission' and enable it.
This only needs to be done once, and all superuser prompts will come as usual when you install/use root apps.
If you installed or tried to use any root apps before doing this, and your app no longer gets root access, reinstall that app.
Themes:
MIUIv4 requires you to have a free Xiaomi account to apply themes.
Creating the account is free, quick and very easy
Dont complain if boot animation does not apply!
If you had old MIUI themes (like MIUI GB themes) in your MIUI folder on your sd card, the theme manager may try to convert them to the new format, which may take a long time. If it fails, remove those themes from your sd card.
If you downloaded a theme and it does not appear automatically in themes, press menu inside the theme manager app, and manually browse and select the .mtz file (in your sd card/MIUI/themes folder) and restart the app.
Battery:
To see percentage battery indicator on the status bar, go to settings->battery and change the battery indicator style
Performance:
To make the UI transitions faster, you can use the good old standard tip:
Go to settings->developer options
Set 'window animation scale', 'transition animation scale' and 'animator duration scale' all to "0.5x". UI animations will seem twice as fast after doing this.
If the ROM becomes slow over time, do a reboot.
And try not to do a lot of stuff in the first few seconds when SD card scanning is going on, sync is going on or when apps are updating in the background. Its not right to complain of "this/that doesnt work" or lag when you do that .
Instructions:
1. In recovery, wipe data if you are coming from any ROM other than MIUIv4 JB (even if you are upgrading from beta to stable, wipe is needed), and format /system (this needs to be done even while upgrading from older version)
2. Flash the ROM and mic fix
3. Reboot. First boot takes time, be patient.

Update1: Download and flash attached "Mic fix" after flashing rom.
If you don't like nav bar and would like to get rid of it, then flash navbar_disabler.zip.
Note: You should flash these zip's or fixes, only after first boot. If you flash these immediately after flashing rom(or along with rom), you'll end up with more problems. So, please be make sure that you are following instructions correctly. And one more thing, you should flash rom after a factory reset. It won't function after a factory reset.

I am very poor at resizing stuff. I need someone to resize apks. If i find some time, i'll work on resizing.
And i don't think ics apk works on this. I tried resizing launcher, but failed.
I need someone to resize launcher, mms, music and rest of the things are okay. And resizing gallery to ldpi solves flickering problems(thnx @magmini). Anyone who is interested is freely allowed to resize(to ldpi) and post here or create their own thread.

Use gapps this way:
1. Install gapps
2. Install playservices from a previous backup.
3. Freeze google apks like playservices, backup transport, contact sync, network location, picasa uploader etc except "playstore, google account manager, market update and google services framework" (basically freeze every google apk except these)
4. Add google a/c and use playstore normally.
5. If you don't have a playservices backup, let market download it and freeze it after that.

Looks like i forgot to include fixed phone.apk. I'll release a patch for it. If you know how to use apktool, just decompile phone apk and change audio manager boolean value in bools.xml to true.

Got the first error
I installed the ROM on my Galaxy Mini GT-S5570 and after it booted, I got the error "Unfortunately, Messaging has stopped". Thereafter it showed SIM cannot be activated and "No Service". That means basically I am stuck now.
BTW I had to remove the assert command and do the install since I was getting Status 7 error even though my ro.build.device had the value of "tass".
I did a clean install too (factory reset)

Instructions:
Boot to TWRP. Format Data "YES". Wipe everything Except for Internal and External.
Flash the Zip and Aroma will walk you through the installation.
I have not tried every possible combinations of installs. But everything I have tried has worked.
After Installer is finished, Uncheck reboot and flash Ashyx's Encryption Breaker.(May not be needed, kernel has disabled encryption, but ive never tried without it.) Reboot.
First run will take about 7 minutes.

Ok just want to let you and anyone else know, that this ROM installs and runs PERFECT !! Has SuperUser and/or Magisk baked in also.
It is running very smooth and looks really cool. Once again you guys ( mr.duck254 and fullofHell ) have done an outstanding job.
A big thanks to Zoink also for building these great custom ROMs.

Go to settings/advanced options/zmods. Find the one related to the screen and choose a different option. It will make it look better.choose best for your phone

I am having one issue though and that it the lock screen. When unlocking the phone it takes a solid 6 seconds to actually get into the phone. When using a PIN it takes several taps at the OK for it to unlock, if you only tap it once itll go back to black.
I'm wondering if I should switch to this ROM. I've been using WalkerBlue for the entire life of my J7. And it's really just to use sound mods like Viper. I'm really just wondering if I switch to this will I be able to install and use sound mods? WalkerBlue is quite dated now and it never was completely bug free so just need someone to comment and finalize my reasoning to switch!
I was also really hoping to some more kernels come out for this phone but at this point I'm just happy some devs are breathing life into this again ?

From what I have noticed it seems to be a nougat bug for our phone specifically. Every single nougat rom with our phone, including stock 7.1.1 and the 7.0 ROMs from international j7 ROMs have this little bug. Best advice @Kairosin is after typing pin, password,or pattern tap the recents key to speed it up a few seconds. Other option is to just tap the screen so it doesn't go black. I'm sorry that's all I got for you. It is a pain, but no real fix for it.

Whoa dude you are way outdated?.it was a great rom, but we have nougat 7.1.1 and 7.0 and about 6 ROMs. Inside those ROMs we have about 3 kernels.u can interchange them but this ROMs kernel is a beast and the best period. As long as u have a permissive kernel u can install any audio mod. I advise flashing zenOS, installing magisk via aroma and then one of the ahrion sound mods in magisk. Revolution is great but zenOS is the more amazing beefed up out of the ROMs. Did u ever update to stock nougat when it came out? U have to flash to the stock that your baseband says under about phone. Using Odin. Then u take a couple OVer the air updates and voila you are nougat.then u install TWRP again and flash one from the buffet of ROMs. This kernel will give u about a day and a half of battery btw.

I installed twrp 3.1 using Odin and wiped internal memory without creating a backup. Been trying to follow above instructions but they are not working. Kindly help me understand where am going wrong.

Hi - Are you on NN 7.x.x or MM 6.x.x ? You must odin NN 7.x.x to use this ROM. Also be 100% sure you are using the NN version of TWRP.

Am using TWRP 3.1.1-0 to install the Revolution OS J700TT1 but it fails and the error msg am getting is zip file is corrupt. Error installing zip file.
Failed to mount '/system' (invalid argument).
Phone had Nougat 7.1.1 but had been locked to T mobile network.
Where could i be going wrong?

Hmmm -- Ok so you are able to boot to TWRP ok ( Power | Vol Up | Home Key ) .... So .... The locking to T-Mobile has nothing to do with it,
but are you saying it "was" locked and is now unlocked ?
As for the zip file being corrupt, did you run a MD5 check on it ? maybe a bad download. Check with MD5 to be sure it is ok.
Now if you can not mount /system then that is an issue we need to solve.
Have you tried to mount /system manually via twrp ? Also, be sure you did a full complete wipe including the data partition.
( the one were you have to type YES to continue. )
NOTE: Be SURE you are wiping the internal only . Your ROM file should be on your external SD card.
If all else fails, you might want to try all over. Odin flash the 7.1.1 stock build, then Odin flash TWRP, then either Odin flash the ROM or
flash the rom via TWRP.
Dont forget to flash the encryption file when/if you get a successful ROM install.
Try all that and if it still does not work, let us know exactly what is happening and I will try to help some more. It is VERY hard to brick
this phone, so don't worry to much yet. Just be sure NOT to mess with the boot partitions.

Hai Bro. This is the full review of your Pixel experience rom and for everyone who want to install this rom. Please read it carefully.
First of all, this is great. I can say that this rom is 100% perfect and stable for Lenovo K4 Note. I am Happy that I have got a Android Pie rom which can be used as a daily driver. :good::good:
All the other custom roms made for K4 note are sowewhat not stable because in which there is good visual (i.e. style) there is no performance and stability, and where there is performance there is no style and when there is good style and performance, some features doesn’t work correctly on mobile. In case of MIUI roms, NO PERFORMANCE is there. In case of lineage and rr roms, some features doesn’t work (Note : I use screen casting very often but when I connect it to a casting device the audio doesnot come from audio jack when I connected earphones on my phone). In case of stock or other rom we cant use them as a daily driver. So this rom is a solution for best daily driver.
In this rom, there is style : Stock Android Pie with all features and Ambient display working fine.
There is performance : No lag. Good performance compared to any other custom roms for k4 note. Fastest Internet speed. Great sound clarity. No battery drain issues.
There is Stability : Checked from end-to-end and all settings on this device. All are working except which I mentioned below.
These are the bugs In found
1. Camera (Better to download google camera for android pie from internet)
2. Good Performance, but PUBG LAGS while playing (opening and loading is still good). Cannot playing PUBG using default settings.
3. Shortcuts on lockscreen are not available and also option is not there in settings
4. Navigation Bar option missing (Not necessary, but it should be available for Latest android roms)
5. Missing some important apps and cannot flash magisk or sound zip files on this rom through twrp
6. Notifications are not disappearing as soon as work is finished.
7. Network speed indicatior is coming at middle of the status bar, it should be at left or right side
8. Low brightness (normal brightness is available when brightness bar is at 68%)
9. PixelIcons are not much good on pixel launcher that any other stock android pie softwares.
10. System update is missing or app is not installed for direct system updates from settings.
Except these everything is working great so I would think that this will be fixed in the next update.
Note : Bro, I have lost my IMEI number while flashing other custom rom, so Please tell me how to repair IMEI using this rom. I have tried all methods from Internet but no one is working, so please give me a new method to fix INVALID IMEI.

Cannot flash any zip file through twrp except rom and gapps. If you flash gapps for this rom, your device never work smoothly. You will get very laggy performance. In case to remove lag, if you wipe system partition after flashing gapps zip and flash rom again, your device will get bricked surely. Again you have to flash stock rom and do all the twrp install process. So don't flash gapps. Any app you needed download it from Apkmirror website (Google camera available on the website, please check whether it is for Android 9 or not). Wishing the developer to update new version soon. *This rom is not recommended for PUBG

Well you better connect to Google for this and I am dam sure this is not k4 note device screenshot and oooh ooh wait why u need install extra gapps ?? When gapps was included in Rom install and if u want YouTube etc the play store is available better you download from and stop posting fake fake things if u still have any problems open the telegram group link and post the problem in it

This is not any fake post or nothing. Don't you dare to say like that. I am using my K4 note since 2 years and I experienced very lag in stock rom S232 firmware. I tried many custom roms like lineage nougat, Rr N 5.8.5, Xenon HD nougat etc. I am a original Lenovo K4 Note user. I have flashed gapps because of Google camera only. I cannot run any camera app from internet especially Google camera is not opening. If you want check yourself and post me how to run Google camera on this rom. You talk about my device, i will send you my screenshots. Check and believe. I will also send you a video of pubg mobile running on this rom on this device. I am not any fake, the video and screenshots prove them. I will send the screenshots now but i will post the video in two or three days because i am out of home. Prove that you are not fake by sending post and solutions to my problem. But don't blame others. Again i am saying this rom is not suitable for pubg. Performance tweak updates may fix them.

Only for Google camera i have downloaded gapps of 750 mb size. Please understand my interest. But please don't say it fake. I have cheched 4 types of custom roms and bricked my device many times. I am not able to use my sim also due to no imei. My device is LENOVO K4 NOTE.
I never used any custom Rom on my Lenovo k4 note.
Please share step by step guide to install this rom
Also give twrp and all link if you can.

Step-by-step guide for installing custom rom. Please read it carefully, otherwise your device will be BRICKED and you have to flash stock rom again.
First of all you need the necessary or required files :
1. Pc or laptop with minimum windows 7 updates version
Or Download Preloader and adv drivers from internet
2. Copy every file on your mobile to the pc, because installing twrp and unlocking bootloader will confirmly wipe your data.
3. Download the files ( twrp recovery, platform tools zip, custom rom you needed, gapps, etc)
4. Enable OEM UNLOCK and USB DEBUGGING on your mobile.
5. Install the drivers mentioned above on your computer.
6. Unlock bootloader and flash twrp ( recommended twrp 3.2.3.0)
7. If you are unable to flash then check that if your drivers are installed correctly or not.
8. Refer YouTube how to fix adb fastboot device not detecting.
9. If you are successful to flash twrp then follow my steps, otherwise repeat the above again.
10. After flashing twrp through bootloader then power off your phone by holding the power button till the phone turns off. DONT TURN IT ON OTHERWISE YOUR DEVICE WILL BE BRICKED.
11. Press the volume up and down at the same time and plug in a charger or usb cable connected to the pc.
12. After 2 sec you will see a blank screen, press the power button frequently for 2 - 4 times, you will see the recovery.
13. At this moment you cannot flash any zip file because your data can't get mounted. First click on wipe, then advanced wipe and select data partition and click on change file system and change it into EXT2 type.
14. Again change the data partition into EXT4 type, then your data will be mounted.
15. Now backup the system and boot partitions and wipe everything except internal storage ( because of backup file).
16. Now flash custom rom and gapps ( if necessary flash magisk and Dolby zip also, based on your interest ) and boot to system.
Now you can use your phone with your favorite custom rom??
Recommended Os for K4 Note :
Nougat : Xenon HD Nougat
Oreo : Dotos Oreo
Pie : Pixel Experience Plus Pie
Gapps : Stock package based on your os ( Not for Pixel experience rom, waste of flashing )
Installing a custom rom for first time would be very difficult, but next time would be very easy.
Simply reboot to recovery, wipe system and data partition and flash another rom. This is very simple.
Be careful. I have bricked my device many times by forgetting small small things. So i help you to get your device unbricked and safe. Thank You

For Internel Storage you can Blindly install this rom because It Allows you to use every MB in your device. I have checked my Internel storage through ES FILE ANALYSER and got shocked by it. But for camera, you can't use camera pre-installed on this rom and you can't install Google camera also. You can install any camera from play store and use them neatly. I am using this rom right now and I am not interested in camera so i am working out without a Camera.
In every rom there are pros and cons. In here you can use Internal storage but not camera.

No. The Google camera which is downloaded from internet is installed but can't be opened. It is not working. If you want camera, you can use 3rd party camera from playstore. Stock camera and Google camera will not work on this rom.

This app is like stock camera and also it has editing. You can also search in playstore called Mix camera app.

Hello I am using from 4.5 years I know it better then you okay and if u don't want to use roms then just leave it and morely it is now old with 3gb ram and sure pubg will lag

If device keeps rebooting after installation free up some system storage using TWRP's File Manager to delete old/none used apps from system and then try again.

You don't need root, you just need to have twrp installed. But in case after installing zip if the apps forced close or never work you need to manually delete apps using root explorer for that you need to have root and flash the zip again.

Well if you mean by rooting is installing a custom recovery then yes as you need TWRP to flash the zip file
(You may need system root as some apps need to be installed manually through a root explorer)

You've to clear cache n dalvik cache, your network should working
Tested on a Samsung S8 with several OneUI roms. With all of them I had the same issue. OneUI 3.0 Dialer and Contacts require a different imsmanager.jar to work, but using the one included cause the imsservice.apk to constantly crash, causing a huge battery drain and a horrible lag. In addition the clock app never showed its correct name (Usually showed some arabic text in some Roms or just dd.MM as name)
The rest of the apps work fine. However I'd like it to be fixed. I truly like the OneUI 3.0 dialer layout but this issue makes impossible to use it.

For the clock to be fixed you can just delete the clock package folder found in /system/app and replace it with the one found in the zip file using any root explorer. For the imsmanager.jar try replacing it manually also and make sure to set the right permissions as the old one and let me know if it worked

Hello, I tried this on my Rooted Note 8 wit a Custom ROM (Still on One UI 1.0 & Android 9). Flashing was successful, but apps didn't get updated. All are the same as before.
