The D&P is the one on my phone now. It was fine for about a month but now it's coming off on the edges.

It's possible that I didn't put it on well, I suppose.
Their customer service was unwilling to help with a replacement or refund, and I thought that was kind of crappy.

So next time simply break it and ask for warranty? Lousy service indeed.

I'm using these cheap one's for ten bucks each. The first has been great so I bought two more for when it's time to exchange it. No scratches at all after two months.

One grain of sand and the display is doomed.
Will never use a mobile device without a tempered glass protector. This will also scratch of course, but it's easily replaceable :good:

I also use a screen protector to preserve the oleophobic coating which tends to ware off after some months of use.

according to user votes most of people says that after phone drops screen was ok but glass damaged.
Last - a small damaged cover glass but display is ok on my wife phone
PS May be more honest - they are all made dont glass but plastic cover All - noname, brand - sound is equal
Fragile hands will surely need tempered glass to.protect their.phones.
Never used any since SGS times

But Zagg doesn't list them as available on their web site yet. I'm not as interested in a screen protector as I am having Zagg cover the back of my phone. Their product is great. I like the gripping feel of it. The screen of the focus is Gorilla Glass so that why I'm not going to cover it.
Do you have a reference link to the Focus being built with Gorilla Glass?
Att has a zagg shield thats a dry install and is pretty nice. Its not as grippy as the wet but feel similar.

I installed the InvisibleShield on my Focus. I really like the matte finish on the back. I took it to the booth in the mall and had the invisibleshield guy install it for me for free (usually like $7, i think.) Just FYI, it may be a dry protector, but you can still install it as if it were wet.

I like it, I'm just not sure that I *trust* it . I've got several buddies with iPhone 4, at least 3 of whom have scratches on their screens
Scratch
Well then I have a defective screen because I have a scratch
I'd feel better with a protector on it myself.
I was looking at the Skinomi. Has anyone used them before? Most of the reviews on other phones seem mostly positive. They have both a screen protector and a full body protector.

Mine should be here any day now. I got the full phone covering. I'll report back...
Zagg is now supporting the Focus...
http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield...es-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php
I've used Zagg on my last 2 phones and highly recommend it. It is really great stuff. You can argue that you don't need this with the Focus screen, but if you still want one, I would go with Zagg. The most important thing is to follow the installation instructions exactly.
My recommendation is NOT buy the Full Body coverage... just get the Screen Coverage. Get a nice case instead. Zagg can (not always) start peeling very slightly on the edges from repeated rubbing with your hand. I've seen this happen on 2 of my friends phones who had full body coverage. The good thing is, Zagg will send you out a new one free, no questions asked (you do have to pay shipping though). They are pretty good about it. Also, if you don't like it, it is removable.
I went ahead and ordered the Zagg. 14.99 isn't bad even with the 2.99 shipping. I don't feel comfortable until I get something to protect this screen.
I got the Skinomi. I followed the instructions and still ended up with a lot of bubbles\wrinkles. Also I'm not sure that the "full body" skin is even needed. I certainly can't see how the side pieces are supposed to fit around the buttons and headphone jack anyway.
I give this product a huge thumbs down. A waste of $20.
Thank you for the heads up. I ordered the Invisibleshield instead. Hopefully, this will fit the bill.
For all those who are looking for a full cover screen guard for your new beast try the ones below.I prefer them because they provide protection without spoiling the sexiness of the device.. Especially dedicated for those who don't like to use covers:fingers-crossed:

this is priced modest 3.99$, best bang for the buck.
can also be bought from www.xtremeguard.com
And for those want premium protection
ZAGG invisibleSHIELD™
No images are there in the site but they costs 24.99$ for all round protection.
Skinomi TechSkin™
these costs 19.95$
and offers good protection.
BodyGuardz UltraTough® Clear Skins
they costs $24.95 though provides precision cutting and quality and also two full sets are given.
PhantomSkinz
They also costs the same 24.95$ reviews yet to be seen...
i am also waiting for other manufacturers such as bestskinsever to roll out. Note 2 lovers please post your suggestions and user reviews of full cover screen guardsalso from other manufacturers so that i can add it to OP:good::victory:

I did acknowledge that, but my point stands, I've had full body from Xtremeguards (various products) and I wouldn't buy from them again. Too many faults, poor fit, indents/marks/creases on protector, black dot contamination, guards fused together, leaking bottles in shipping and trimming slivers on edges. To name what I can remember off hand.
Bodyguardz have also released a duo pack. €25 for 2 complete body shields. They are very mich like zagg. I used their skin for my ipad 3. No complains!!

I'm thinking, why cover the back? If I scratch it 'that' badly, I'll buy a new back. Maybe even a new color for fun!
I'll probably get a screen protector. I had a Steinheil Crystal Clear on my OG EVO for over a year. When I removed the protector, it was still clear. I can't say that about the previous screen protector, which was yellowed after 1+ years of use.

Maybe you could buy a new back cover, but original ones with nfc should be expensive....
And always the chances are that you aint gonna it that bad are slim and when you admire the beast that small scratch would really be hurting...

The back cover is more important though, it's a drop to the corner which will crack the screen everytime, the screen won't last long enough to worry about the scratches without a cover. So both would be good but no screen protector here, then again I don't have loads of pills in my pocket

I've bought them from a local seller in Turkey. First tried a couple of tempered glass screen protectors but the shape of edges were ruining them. So nano one doesn't cover the whole screen but sticks completely, feels more clean. It's like this:

Then you should keep it in a glass cabinet and only look at it once a day, no touching!
But it is slippery as an eel, as the Swedish saying goes, and both the screen and the ceramic bezel will crack on first corner drop.
Any back cover will also "cover it up", and the flip cover even protects the screen from scratches in your pocket.
The least bad choice, better than buying a new phone every few months at least.
i've installed glass screen protector bought here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/RDC...-For-Xiaomi-Mi8-Mi-8-SE-Full/32881714447.html
It covers entire front panel but black frames around the screen protector are too wide - they covers screen about 1mm from each side.
All holes for camera, led etc are properly cut.
I'm waiting for other glasses to get off the right one.

I also buy this glass and I confirm your remarks : it covers fine the front panel and the black frames seems slightly too wide.
But it is not annoying at all. I think that I'm satisfied of the result.
I bought this one from amazon spain. Two for 2.50€.
Ferilinso Cristal Templado Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, [2 Pack] [Cobertura Completa] Estuche Libre de Burbujas Película Protectora de Protector de Pantalla con garantía de remplazo (Negro)
(sorry, can't post links until I post more messages).
It fits perfectly. Great feeling. Glue everywhere in the screen. So no bubbles or this iridiscent thing that sometimes apperars. It covers the whole screen, even the edges and it doesn't look like the black edged are taking any space from the display. But there is a major downside. The edges are cut straight. Not rounded. Making them sharp-ish on touch and creating a place where dust and "others entities" can settle their new home. If you don't have a case, go for a rounded edge. But if you have a rather big case, you don't feel the edge.
I'd look for a cover with rounded edges, full coverage and full glue. Then, check reviews to see if there is any display covered by the black parts.

I wonder if those are worth the money

Is this TGSP installed using UV Light like Whitestone Dome Glass or just has the "Normal" install application ?

Haven't yet got it. Their support informed that it will be available for delivery only after a week or so. So still waiting
How are the OnePlus screen protectors, anyone tried them?
Well I just bought the tempered glass screen protector (₹1290.0), the sandstone back cover (₹990.0) and the type-c to 3.5mm converter from the OnePlus store.
The screen protector quality is immensely better than the one it comes with. The tempered glass gives you the glossy feel and the smooth touch of using the real screen compred to the plastic one.
The back cover is good too. It's their well known sandstone texture. It gives a better grip than the glass back and looks so much classier than the plastic thing you get in the box.
The 3.5mm converter worked perfectly with my headphones, its ₹390, then why not just include it in the phone, right?
Anyway, I'm happy with the purchase, so far...

Did you apply it over the factory installed screen protector or had to remove it?

I got applied from the Store itself. They were happy to do it and did a good job as well.
I'm horrible at that thing.
