How do I know what verison is my Diamond ?

Well, I just got a new Diamond and wanted to find out what is the ROM version, etc. And is there a standard version that everyone use ? What is the best version to flash into and what difference does it make compare to stock ?

Settings->System->Device Information for info on your ROM etc, for the others... try the search button

I looked in there and got this:
CE OS 5.2.19591 (Build 19591.1.1.6)
Thats not the Rom version is it ?

as Dan168 rightly said Settings->System->Device.
when you go there how many tabs on the bottom of the screen do you have
and can see one that says version ?

Link to EVA-L29C636b320?

Was wondering if anyone here has a good working link to a eva-L29C636b320 firmware. I think it must have been pulled from Huawei servers but I would like to try flashing that particular version on my P9. I have searched everywhere but found nothing. Anyone with a copy that they could share through Dropbox, Box, Mega etc?

Hi! cant find b320, you sure that file exist? even in firmware finder, which use oficial huawei download links, have not b320..

It did exist at one time, but has been taken down. I can find links to it when I do a search, but they are all dead links. I believe (maybe mistakenly) that the reason I cannot get Nougat to work on my device is because I have not had B320 in a progressive installation. I was hoping someone may have a repository of OS firmware files but it seems unlikely, I guess.

........bump.......really need this firmware version......anyone have it buried on a PC hard drive?

As other manufacturer, they probably roll out their update by waves.
That said, it is very easy to download and install it thanks to the link given by the OP.

Yes, easy; place the update file to the root of your 256 Go; clic on it with file manager; that's all; your phone will reboot and be update

I think you need to write a guide or something to help others to flash this.

Pls dont flash another bloatware+spyware, there are too many better Open Source ROMs. If you want to flash this, then use MIUI, your stock rom instead.
