Hello my friends i just want to ask you about an application that i just install to my HTC One m7.It's called Rasrh.
I'm thinking about to flash from this app TWRP touch recovery.
Should i do it?
If i do it i will lose all my data from my phone?
I don't want to use pc to flash custom recovery and I'm trying to find another solution.
Sorry for bad English.
I don't want to advertise anything.
Thanks for every help.
I use flashify, and it works great
Will it erase everything in my device of i install custom recovery with this program? Also I'm S-ON will i have a problem?
Flashing a custom recovery doesn't wipe any data, unlocking the bootloader will. Is your bootloader unlocked? It must be unlocked to flash a custom recovery, even if flashing from an app.
Oh i understand now.Now my bootloader is Tampered-Relocked so i will have to unlock it and erase everything. Thanks my friend.

I'm thinking about unlocking the bootloader of my Moto X and I have a few questions. I hope you guys can help me.
1. At the moment I'm using PwnMyMoto, which means I dont have the stock recovery. Will this be a problem to unlock the bootloader using 'Motorola website' method? i.e. is this method stock recovery dependent? Do I have to go back stock using RSDlite first?
2. After unlocking the bootloader I will probably install a custom recovery (maybe TWRP). As far as I know, when using a custom recovery we should not install OTA, right? It will bootloop. Can anyone confirm this?
3. When using TWRP, is it possible to flash a ROM using RSDlite and keep the custom recovery? i.e. only flash system. This way I could backup my actual ROM before I flash the new one, and if anything goes wrong I can restore it.
Thank you all!

1. Fastboot the stock recovery. You will likely have problems unlocking as it performs a factory reset.
2. Don't take OTAs with a custom recovery. You will bootloop. Wait for a flashable zip or fastboot back to stock to get the OTA.
3. You flash ROMs in recovery. You shouldn't need to use fastboot (or rsdlite) unless you want to return to stock or you run into serious phone issues.

It can be fixed with flashing the recovery again in fastboot mode...
I have a Sprint HTC One. I previously unlocked the boot loader and installed clock work mod recovery. I achieved SU and partial Super CID. I tried flashing Viper ROM after relocking the boot loader, which failed. when I went to reboot the phone, I was in boot loader without a system ROM. so I installed the stock ROM and updated firmware. the phone now works. however, I lost su and my custom recovery. I tried to unlock the bootloader , reinstall Viper, but neither will work it fails every time. I am experienced at following instructions on this website, but I lack the knowledge to know exactly what I am doing with each action.
Please help me get either su, custom recovery or the boot loader unlocked. I still have S-off and I am at a loss. Thank you!

... simply flash appropriate custom recovery from fastboot. boot into recovery and try to reboot from there and it will ask you if you want to root the device. root it. reboot normally and you will see SU app. open it and update binaries. thats it, you are rooted ...
Failure
Okay, so I appreciate the attention and help, but it fails to install recovery, flash roms, or unlock the bootloader from fastboot. I can flash firmware and run an RUU from my desktop. As well, I can run the Sprint OTA update from the phone, but I have not done that yet. I have hboot 1.55. I have tried to flash things from terminal emulator, but I'm having trouble. I can access and use the phone for Sprint, but the CID says 11111 and won't let me change carriers. Once again, I have S-off.
Thoughts:
Run Sprint update and try to start from scratch, if all else fails, sell it.
Can I flash SU from bootloader? I haven't tried that yet, although I doubt it will work given my other problems.

... slow down and calm down. i think you are hasting things. dont worry and do whatever you wanna do step by step. its not clear to me what you want to achieve, you wanna switch carriers ? want ota ? want custom rom ? you are s-off but cant flash recovery !!!! please explain exactly what you want and what errors are you getting and doing what
i think you cant have SU from bootloader and certainly terminal emulator doesnt flash recoveries and rom., fastboot does recovery and recovery flashes rom. dont play with your phone like this without proper knowledge. ask whatever doubts you have prior doing anything ...
Straight Talk
You're funny. Yes, I am in a hurry to use my new phone... Ultimately, I want to use it on straight talk. It is S-off, and the boot loader will not unlock, the phone won't flash a recovery and I have lost su. It's the weirdest thing! I haven't had this problem before. Usually you flash stock firmware and ruu and you're back at square one, but not this time.
I would pay you to visit my problem via Teamviewer? Interested?

... Dear if you wanna network unlock your phone, follow the steps exactly as described.
1. Flash this and only this RUU (first link - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250904 ), no need to relock bootloader if unlocked as you are s-off.
2. Download the recovery for sprint variant and flash it in fastboot mode (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img) (link - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2651035).
3. Boot in to recovery and press reboot and then system, it will ask for your permission to root, root it. restart normally and open SU app and update its binaries. phone will reboot itself in recovery and back in normal mode. You will be rooted then. :victory:
then ping me for sim unlock ...
Hi,
I just got a brand new HTC One 7 (WWE, CID E_11) after my last one died. Im trying to root it and install a custom recovery to install arhd or insertcoin. I used htc one toolkit for this. Everything seemed to work ok, but after booting the installed rom (ARHD or insertcoin) the phone reboots after i see the login screen. I somehow managed to reinstall my phone again yesterday, as it was a complete (soft) brick.
I used this to return to stock:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2759000
Now does anyone know why I get a reboot loop? Does anyone know if i installed this stock rom if I get the normal OTA updates again? And do i need to relock the bootloader for this? I would really like to install stock roms again but I'm a little anxious after yesterday. (I've installed custom roms since the old HD2/HTC desire, and also on my old HTC One M7, never had any problems, I think it has to do with the Hboot).
Hoping to hear from you guys,
best wishes,
Olaf

Flash the stock firmware 5.11.401.10! I think your firmware is mismatched.
By flashing the firmware after installing the Rom I might fix the bootloop? Or is the stock firmware necesarry to go back to stock? Sorry bit confused, thanks for your response btw

Flashing the firmware might fix the boot-loop, since you flashed the stock rom! If it does stop the boot-loops, you can re-install TWRP or CWM to get the custom recovery.

when using a sense custom rom you need to make sure you use twrp 2.6.3.3 recovery, do not use the toolkits, most of the time they are out of date and not updated, this would explain the bootloops, take the time to learn how to use adb and fastboot, you'll never look back.
nothing to do with the firmware and no need to flash it, if your firmware was knackered, you would have a hard brick.

First of all thanks for the quick response. I know how to use adb and fastboot (at least I think).
If i would (in this order) do the following, would that be correct?:
unlock using htdev
Flash twrp 2.6.3.3 using fastboot command: "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" (naming twrp 2.6.3.3.img = recovery.img)
reboot bootloader
Flash SuperSU.zip in TWRP
reboot twrp
flash custom rom (ARHD).
The thing is it isn't a normal bootloop (which normally would come with the HTC logo all the time)
It reboots when I try to setup the phone (in the setup menu). Restoring the phone with the link in the OP, ive recoverd my phone, but I would still love to use custom roms again.

unlock using HTC Dev
flash TWRP 2.6.3.3
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
enter recovery
no need to flash super user it will be included in the rom you flash
flash custom rom, or stock reset rom, if its not rooted, twrp will ask you if you would like to root upon exit.

It seems that insertcoin had a problem in it's installer:
http://insertcoin-roms.org/category/devices/one_m7/one_sense6/
the changelog says: Fixed SuperSU install (might solve the sudden reboot issue in SetupWizard)
It left me without any rom to install, so i had to sideload ARHD, which it didnt want to install via sideload... The next step I isntalled stock again, which I'm using right now.. but I miss xposed framework and other tweaks too much..
I'm gonna try to unlock it again this afternoon and install insertcoin again, but this time ill make a backup first. Does installing the recovery wipe anything?

no it doesn't wipe anything, but you can use xposed and its tweaks on stock rom, you just need to root first, just install TWRP, enter recovery and again upon exit it will offer to root stock rom for you.
Hello everyone, i am pretty bad at english so dont judge me becouse of this, and i am also noob here
So, i have problem. Why i cannot enter into recovery mode? I want to flash custom rom in my phone, i already have succesfully rooted with this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/general/guide-how-to-root-10-5-1-0-283-t2872873 and now i want custom rom, but i cant flash it becouse i cant enter in recovery mode, whats the problem? And another question, did i need unlocked bootloader for custom roms? What if i need it but i have already rooted? Did its big risk to unlock bootloader for already rooted phone? Sorry guys i am noob here, thanks for help!
First, did you install any recovery like CWM or TWRP or Phil...
on the page it talks about XZDualRecovery: you may choose any other if you prefer
if not there is no GUI based recovery in Sony Software and you need to install them separately.
Since you have already Rooted the Phone..
1. Start with This, go to the below link and backup your TA partition
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598
This backup is very important if you want to revert back to factory image so keep it safe. WITHOUT THIS BACKUP DO NOT UNLOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER
2. Only on successful backup of TA, think about unlocking your bootloader. from your dialer dial *#*#7378423#*#*, and check if you have "Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes"
Unlocking the bootloader means you can install any of the ROM's available for your phone. If you don't want to unlock or cannot unlock then you may be restricted ROM's with Sony Kernels only.
