Hi all devs,
I recently tried to install remix os in my PC (Windows 7 32bit)
I got this error during the installation

Please help..
Post in a forum that cares about that? Just a thought as this is for Remix Mini type hardware not PC.....

That works when the phone is running but the usb is not detected when i'm in fastboot mode... help pls...
Hey folks,
I always have an annoyingly hard time trying to find the fastboot binary that will work with the Galaxy Tab so I'm going to post them here. For now all I have is the Linux binary (built out of the CyanogenMod tree) but if anybody would like to post the Windows and Mac equivalents that work with the Tab, be my guest!

Totally not related to this thread but, you don't need a PC at all, just go to the look here first thread using you tab, download the rooting zip file and flash it.

The Ubuntu Touch Developer Preview is intended to be used for development and evaluation purposes only. It is an experimental development snapshot that can potentially brick your device

so its may be too early.. if devs port it..
correct me if im wrong.
Now that CM10 is close to be stable and almost everything is working - it would be so much cool if one developer would port this Ubuntu Touch to our device.
I dont know if someone already did but i´ve seen the signature of ikaster17 (the Cyanilla Chefmaster) showing that he runs Cocore6.0 / CM - Ubuntu what looks like a port.

Hi Team,
Has anyone have tried and succeeded to increase the RAM of your remix mini?Like in windows, you can insert an empty USB device and have it become your virtual RAM. Does Remix mini have this, too? If so, please post it here as a reply (the instructions on how to make virtual ram on remix mini)
Thanks!

No this isn't how it works with SOC's . You would have to unsolder the existing RAM if it is accessable then re - solder new ram.
If you Google / youtube videos of people upgrading iPhone ram you'll get the general idea of how it works.
Unless you have experience and test boards to play with to learn, I do not recommend this.

Hi,
I have been looking for any information but i couldn´t find anything (or i didn´t search proprely) but I want to know if this device can act like a mini pc itself. I mean, in other pcs you can install, reinstall and change OS.
Is there any possibility of installing Phoenix OS, Android x86 (or android os) or any other OS instead of the Remix?? I have been wondering to give it a chance if I can change OS to have a portable PC (I am thinking to have it for school, I am teacher) and connect it to proyectors...
If anyone has any idea is more than welcome, and if I find any solution or I can install any other OS i will edit the post!!
All together, more power :highfive: :highfive: :victory:
Cheers!!
Unfortunately I think this was discussed a long time ago on this forum, there was never enough development support to make it happen.
