[Q] How to update from stock 4.4.4 rooted to 5.0.x with root ?

Hi all,
I have my N910F 4.4.4 rooted, so no OTA update,
Whats the best way to update to stock Lollipop 5.0.2 without losing root ?
Is it possible to install the Stock ROM via philz recovery ?
I have never install stock Roms via costume recovery.
Not sure if I lost root on this process

I Would Suggest Looking Around In The Snapdragon Note 4 forum you'll likely find something there Most T-Mobile Note 4's are the N910T and not the N910F, N910F is for the international Snapdragon variant. Hope this helps.

I have purchased Note 3 AT&T N900A and I am overseas. The phone is unlocked and is running Android 4.3.
When I try to update over-the-air it says there is no update for me. Please advise how should I update to latest Lollipop. I want to flash DomPop URv2.2.3.
Should I firstly update to official Lollipop and have LP bootloader, and how? Or I can get root, install Safestrap and then flash DomPop URv2.2.3?

You would have to root it install Safestrap, then http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59666958&postcount=2 this way you would be on root lollipop (it says "< < < YOU NEED TO BE ON A 5.0 BOOTLOADER FOR A SAFE INSTALLATION > > >" http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...-dompop-urv2-2-3-tekhd-edition-note4-t3074094). Once you are on root Lollipop, then you can install DomPop URv2.2.3.

As rooting note 3 at & t lolipop without returning to 4.4.2

would root the note 3 lolipop but when you return to 4.4.2 and install the safestrap but do not want to go into recovery , so let me know if I can help get a recovery or a different method to root the note 3 lolipop, Thanks in advance:bien:

I want to root my note 3 so I can download and use game guardian or something similar. I'm on android 5.0, do I got to downgrade to get root access? If so could someone help guide me?

You must flash 4.4.4 kitkat then you can root and flash another rooted ROM or a rooted 5.0 lolipop.

Did you downgrade and root your note 3? I am looking to root and want to move 7.1 ROM of any available...

My note 3 is rooted, but with what?

I have a AT&T note 3 that is rooted, but I don't know the method that it was rooted. It's on android 4.4.2 and I'd like to install a custom from for something higher than 5.0. Can anyone give me a method to upgrade the rom on it?
