Profile "do not disturb" at work‏ - Tasker Tips & Tricks

Hi,
I am a profile "do not disturb" that automatically changes every two weeks.
The Week 1 morning from 6am at 13:20. And week 2, to 1:20 p.m. to 8:40 p.m..
I can try with the even and odd week? But I do not know how.
Can you help me please?

Is there wifi at work? You don't have to be connected, it can trigger your profile just by detecting it.

No, I do not have wifi.
I found the solution here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/tasker/50WGIp_IlUg

lost my phone

I lost my phone and I don't know how to track it. I had no tracking apps installed, but I did have CyanogenMod and when I installed it, there was something about location services of Wifi spots.. I dont know.. Is there any way I can find it?
Install plan B via google play.
Just go to the website search for Plan B and install. It wil triggers GPS and sent information about its location..

Maybe I can track the last locations that my phone was in?
Like... If someone was connected to a Wifi and I can track the Wifi's location?

Very Doubtful - If your phone was still switched on you could have installed planb.
You can still try to do that and wait until someone else puts in a new sim card.

Does call recording work with the Galaxy S4 Active?

Hello,
I'm thinking about buying a Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, but there's one thing that holds me away from buying it:
I don't know whether it's possible to get an automatical two way call recording functionality of ordinary calls or not.
Does two way call recording work?
Help appreciated!
Yes, it works with a rooted phone, Flash Gordon, and this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2412645
If/when you get the phone and need help doing it, PM me and I'll walk you through it

Thanks for your helpful reply! One more question (I saw the call recording button on your link). Does it also work automatically for every call once it is set up?
No, but it is a simple matter of pressing a button. I've tried it several times and it works really well

You said you're rooted, so that's good. Do you have Flash Gordon or SafeStrap installed? Have you followed the instructions in the thread that my-blue-snog-box linked to?
We need a little more information to help you like what phone do you have (i537 or i9295)? You said you can't get it to work, how so? Is it failing to flash or does the button not show up, or is it not recording anything?
The recordings are located on your internal SD, in the "sounds" folder if that helps.
Total Recall

Yes it works, i had an S2 before, there i used: Call Recorder Galaxy S2 / S from Killer Mobile https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.killermobile.totalrecall.s2.trial&hl=nl
When i bougt this S4 Active it worked on it, but problems with settings, the screen setup wasn't good for my rom, I installed: Total Recall | Gesprek Opnemen also from Killer Mobile (trial version) ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.killermobile.totalrecall&hl=nl ) send them a mail that i bought the S2 version, and they made my trial a proversion without problems.
It Works great on my S4, Rooted, but Unrooted aswell, Great app, Great Support, You Can Automaticcaly record, with diff options, in / out going calls, or all, save to SD, upload to Dropbox etc etc, The best call recorder app i ever used

[Q] WiFi Turn On by It-self. Why?

Hey Guys,
I saw many threads about this, nothing with Z1, and I can't figure out where is the problem.
Like the title says WiFi turn on by it self. I am on .136, no root, nothing, and I never saw this issue before, maybe because I leaved WiFi on all the time but now I have to use 4G to call people with Skype and I want WiFi Off, but I can't. All the time I leave my phone for few minutes WiFi appear to be On no matter what and my battery drain quickly.
I am sure is Android involved in this but how can I fix it?

Who knows? and what you mean?
They are not separated. For Google's location Section, if WiFi is Off Google will use Mobile network to determine my approximate location.
There is no reason to turn it on, or I missing something?

Any other suggestions?

Maybe clear cache and data in the settings app see will that make a difference...you will lose all your saved settings but sure it's better than a factory reset haha
Edit there is actually a wifi settings app clear cache and data for that app...it's one of them com.Sony.wifi settings I think

Are you running battery guru? If yes it will turn on Wi-Fi automatically if it comes in range of that network.

Thanx.
Not sure if it will control wifi but the app that controls connection and stuff could also be doing this. Like wren you put it to charge it whatever event is the trigger.

Apparently Lollipop is having issues with AEP encryption for wireless networks, so I changed mine to WPA2/TKIP and WiFi is back in business.

Is there a way to auto turn-on hotspot when Bluetooth device is connected?

Hi,
Is there an app that will auto start tethering when it detects a bluetooth connection? I have used Trigger with my previous SM-G925I and it was working great but it is not capable of toggling the hotspot on the T-Mobile device (SM-G920T)
I need this because I want to use it in my car so whenever i enter my car it would auto turn on.
Any sggestions will be appreciated.

Yes. Download Macrodroid and setup a macro beginning with bluetooth as the trigger. Lots of other great macros you can setup as qell.
Tasker?
The IF app might also work
