I downloaded the latest stable version of xposed installer (v 2.6.1) and installed it on my Asus Zenfone C (Android Version is 4.4 Kitkat).
Inside the "Framework" section of the app, the "install/update" button is unclickable, and it shows a message:

Tools Needed :
1. Rooted Redmi Note 2 / Prime phone
2. TWRP (any version)
3. XPOSED apk http://bit.ly/xpfrk4alph
4. Zip file for : ~select one~ UPDATED to v86 bugs fixed
MIUI 7.1 and up base ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3808609&d=1468147974
CM12 base ROM http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk21/arm64/xposed-v84-sdk21-arm64.zip

HOW-TO :
1. Go to TWRP
2. Backup your ROM (system-data)
3. Wipe data
4. Flash xposed-*.zip
5. Restore data (dont check system)
6. Reboot system
7. Install Xposed-alpha3.04.apk/ (i prefer this) Xposed Material by dvdandroid
8. Finish
*FOR ALL MIUI 7 n 8,
Use v86 (or latest framework zip), sdk21 arm64 MIUI EDITION by SolarWarez, if u not flash MIUI EDITION by SolarWarez you will get bootloop, and dont tell me your fault !
*except miui 7 7.5.1.0 and up, you can flash v83 then update it to v86(after boot up)

You need the older Xposed, the apk you installed is supposed to be used in conjunction with a flashable zip. You need this apk: http://dl-xda.xposed.info/modules/de.robv.android.xposed.installer_v33_36570c.apk

#How to install Xposed Installer on CM14.1 and Nougat
1.Download and Install the latest Xposed Module 3.0.apk for Cm14.1 or nougat 7.1 on your android nougat 7.1 device.
2.Then place the downloaded zip named xposed-arm-*.zip in you SD card the reboot to recovery.
Your device is 3zipit device then download xposed-v**-sdk25-arm.zip
If your device is 63 bit device then download xposed-v**-sdk25-arm64.zip.
Or it is on X86 then download xposed-v**-sdk25-x86.zip
3.Then flash this zip from recovery.
4.Now open Xposed module in you mobile and click on install/update button then click OK.
5.Your devices will be rebooted
!6.Done your xposed framework is ready to work in you Nougat 7.0 powered devices.

Can someone help me please ? Do i have to change of systemless xposed framework ?
I'm running Xiaomi Mi Mix, ROM EU Miui 8.5 (Android 6).
Root with Magisk 14..

You're using old xposed and magisk... Try the latest releases. It works with miui at least till 7.0 (based on my experience).

Newest xposed for your architecture. Just search for xposed in magisk download category and install the SDK 23 one.
